You've turned into one of my favorite Hunter channels. Thank you for the great content!

Thank you. This is so much better than the generic "guides" out there. Most talents in Vanilla do something meaningful, and taking the time to explain where and when they shine -as well as where and when they don't- is much more honest about the class. A testament of a class mastered !
You changed my mind about Spirit Bond for example. I always thought it was too small to matter and never tried it, but it does pair well with the steady farming rythm of hunter. I will try it on launch :)
I personaly like Wyvern Sting in BG because it provides something unique: a 41 range nearly instant long CC. Hard to leverage in a pick up group probably, but somewhat game-breaking in some circumstances.

Wyvern Sting can be a lot of fun. Do what you enjoy most.

This sort of breakdown of key talents, regardless of whether they're a part of the spec that you 'should' use, is _exactly_ what I've been looking for.
I don't want to play the spec, I want to play the class! That means knowing all your options and why they're useful.

These series of videos are amazing! You explain things so well & get extremely in depth with many aspects that other guides do not. I appreciate all the information you have shared! I hope I can use this info to become the best hunter I can be come classic.. thank you man!

Does this build take into consideration that Freeze Trap and Scatter share a DR in 1.12? The Entrapment talent basically ensures that a Frost Trap will snare them because of Frost's tick rate. Frost is already strong vs melee so it might be worth investing in because of DR of Freeze and Scatter. Clever Traps is needed regardless tho, I think.

Hi David. I was just listening to Zeroed on the Countdown to Classic speaking about the DR confirmation. This build does not take that in to consideration, and when Classic comes around I do think entrapment will be a very important talent with regards to pvp. I like clever traps for dung runs, but I think entrapment is a an even more impactful choice considering recent news. I would even consider dropping clever traps completely depending on the pvp circumstance. Thanks for bringing this up! Best of luck and let me know how entrapment feels come August.

Btw, I would in no way endorse the build shown in the video as the pinnacle build for any specific content. I was experimenting around a little bit, and since I planned on covering most talents anyway, I didn't bother respeccing.

Trueshot aura alone is enough for a hunter to join a rain group, you can literally bee using full green and still be a must have member in the raid, its that good.

You skill survival at 31 points and then you go for aimed which only requires 11 points in marksman with another 9 points to spare.

Does Aspect of the Cheetah 30%, stack with Minor Speed Enchant 8%, and can i even improve Cheetah in BM tree, 2 points 6% and still stack, 45% Speed would be awesome!

Good Build for fresh 60 that does PvP and PvE content? Thought about going full MM, 5/5 Improved Asp of the Hawk and the rest in Survival.

Sounds really solid, have AoTH + Trueshot will take you far in pve, and deterrence is great for pvp. I would recommend taking improved concussive shot over efficiency if you plan on pvping. Efficiency is great for raiding but concussive shot is just so damn impactful in pvp.

    • @mayfly4970
      @mayfly4970 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@kork1118 Exactly my thought but to reach 3/3 in surefooted, you have to go 2/5 in IAotH. There's too much good talents , not enough points...

  • @brodelnaz

In bc.... a survival hunter could pop deterrence... own for ten seconds.. hit readiness pop deterrence again for a total of 20 seconds where you're basically immune to melee. I would out melee all classes this way

  • @coffeebux

Wow is an mmo. Your real challenge is the other players. You can be the best hunter mechanically but if no one likes you you aren't getting an invite. Hard ti entrr a raid with no invite
