Today I upgraded to a 2tb ssd. I watched this video and read a comment about how you don’t actually need to unscrew the bottom right screw. The guy didn’t explain himself so I was catious when unscrewing it and i noticed I couldn’t get it off.
He was right! Unscrewing it actually pushes the panel off so you can more easily put a card in to separate it from the rest of the laptop. The screw came off with the panel! It was my first time opening a laptop and it was quite scary. Hope this tip helps you out and you don’t break your screw!

Any stickers or anything that would indicate that device has been opened? I really want to add storage but I'm afraid opening the device might void the warranty.

last month i swapped its system drive (C disk) with my new samsung 990 pro 2TB, mine has been running really great even better than before 🥰

I have the same laptop, I added an SSD, but when I tried to turn it on, it didn't work Can you give me some advice? I wait a few minutes to turn it back on or what can I do?
TIP / WARNING: After opening the laptop, disconnect the battery before do anything, to avoid screw driver touching in any component with energy ( example), before closing reconnect the battery :D

from 2023 models onward, even either TUF or ROG, have the sensor that detects bottom cover, when bottom cover removed, the laptop automatically disconnects battery power so it prevents the machine turning on even with power button, which makes it safe for removing RAM, SSD, and even heatsink, while you don't have to disconnect battery. but i still recommend disconnecting battery connector for sure, as RAM and, especially SSD, can be damaged due to ESD, even if installing new ones too, as energy is not completely drained out

You don’t need to as there’s an extra m.2 slot but yes if u did u would lose everything
