Buffalo Boy Mine, Stony Pass | Overland Camping in our 4Runner

Join us second part of our 2021 Colorado overland adventure in our Toyota 4Runner. We finish up Stony Pass where we had been camping a few nights in a previous video and run into @Venture4wd on the way down. We make the drive up to the tram house of the Buffalo Boy Mine and explore the mining ruins. We stop for lunch in Silverton, CO at Handlebars then drive up through the Brooklyn's and strike out finding a vacant spot to camp. We end up spending the night on the East side of Ophir Pass along Mineral Creek in the San Juan National Forest for the night before taking the Million Dollar Highway into Ouray, CO

Yo this was in August. We didn’t go up past the mine, but I heard the view is amazing at the top. We were pressed for time to find a spot to camp.
