Trails like these are why Toyota still puts the old fashioned foot or pull-up emergency brake in their off-road line up - even the Land Cruiser. They don't fail. One of the best videos showing what Black Bear is like. Not quite ready to do in our 4Runner. The only thing that was weird in your video was the editing. You make it to the falls and then go back several times and go back to the falls again.
This was incredible.. love the sound of the trucks driving over the terrain... beautiful views.. I want a 4Runner!! Been thinking about one for a while now..
I thought about it and finally bought. The longer I waited the more expensive they got. I finally overpaid for an ORP $54k which was listed at $47k previous year but I was arguing with dealer that it is really $43k and why is he charging extra. They go up. I waited too long but it’s ok, in grand scheme of things I’ll get 10-15 years out of it. Is it a $50k+ truck, no; it’s a low to mid-40s but the market dictates.
One reason why I LOVE the TRD Pro front cameras that work under 10 MPH. The green lines are my guidance thanks much. Especially with that big a drop off. I remember the pucker factor right there, holy SHIZ. NICELY NAVIGATED. Could you imagine doing the turn in a Tundra? NOPE, not me. My Tacoma was long enough. Also, a great way to see the differences between the Bilstein and the Fox Socks on the different models. On the road where the rocks are somewhat big and everyone is going about 10MPH, the TRD Pro had an easier time of it while the OffRoad did quite well but it did seem to have far more lateral movement and I heard it hitting the bump stops a few times as well. Overall great video and skilled drivers.
