The ancient art on the wall of Angkor Wat will be forgotten by Khmer themselves yet they purposely copy Thai art both old school and modern style to be their own and claim that they are the originator before time. The new generation of Khmer are not able to identify what exactly Khmer art is when they see these Thai art in sculptures, architecture surrounding them since they was born. This cultural war will be continued as long as Khmer authorities deliberately copy Thai without any shameless and this is what so called thief.

ผมคิดว่าเป็นแผนของจีนที่ต้องการให้เขมรเป็นเหมือนไทย เพราะเห็นว่าไทยประสบความสำเร็จในอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยว สร้างรายได้เข้าประเทศจน GDP เติบโตโดยที่ไม่ต้องมีต้นทุนมากนัก จีนจึงต้องการให้นักท่องเที่ยวไปเที่ยวเขมรบ้าง เพราะจีนมาลงทุนไว้เยอะ ต้องการถอนทุนคืนเร็วๆ จึงวางแผนให้เขมร copy ทุกอย่างของไทยที่มีชื่อเสียงและเป็นที่นิยมของนักท่องเที่ยว เช่น สถาปัตยกรรมไทย วัฒนธรรมไทย มวยไทย ชุดไทย อาหารไทย ตัวอย่างที่เห็นเป็นรูปธรรมคือ สถานทูตจีนในเขมรทำวิดิโอโปรโมทสงกรานต์ในเขมรเหมือนของไทยเป๊ะ ในเวลาเดียวกันก็มีการโจมตีการท่องเที่ยวของไทยคู่ขนานไปด้วย ซึ่งอาจสร้างความสับสนให้นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติได้ และหลงไปเที่ยวเขมรแทนมาไทย สร้างรายได้ให้นักลงทุนจีน ผมสันนิษฐานเอานะครับ ว่าจีนคงอยู่เบื้องหลัง ลำพังเขมรไม่มีสมองพอที่จะทำเรื่องนี้ได้เองตามลำพังหรอกครับ ก็รู้กันทั่วโลกอยู่แล้วว่าจีนต้นตำรับการ copy โดยไม่มียางอายอยู่แล้ว และคงเอามาสอนเขมรซึ่งก็อยากเหมือนไทยอยู่แล้วให้ทำ จีนน่ากลัวนะครับ แต่ผมคิดว่าไทยทองแท้ย่อมไม่กลัวไฟ คงทำสำเร็จได้ยาก นักท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลกเขาไม่ได้โง่เหมือนเขมร แต่ก็ไม่อยากให้ประมาทจีนครับ

There is a sebtense to remind the world : There was Khom Empire in the past , but there was no Ancient Khmer Empire at all.
After the Khmer slave labors did rebellion against the Khom dynasty and ruling class. They settled down a town for a while and then became Siams' colonial for around 400 years. After that they became Frances' colonial until late of 20th century.

Education is very important to the population of this country.
Khmer IQ is around number 15 in the world and while Thai and Viet are somewhere in the 90s or something. As you can see today, Khmer students are excel in education. Of course, the education sectors are expanding throughout the kingdom which means we are capable to compete with the regional and international level within 5-10 years. Again, education is important to us Khmer. If private education is FREE for the poor too, Khmer would definitely be like Japan.

Inscriptions in ancient temples (not tampered with by carvers) shows that Khmer and Thai people both wore Sbai or simply wrapped silk around their chest. And two, Khon was also prevalent in Khmer culture as well, evidence from colonial French post cards show a depiction of a Khmer woman wearing a Khon outfit, along with old pictures as well.
