Yes, The Carbon Fiber inserts inside the cabin is 100% Real Carbon Fiber. It's part of the upgraded interior package. I have it in my SRT Durango also. Love this vehicle. I bought my SRT Durango 5 months ago and will unfortunately be trading it off soon for the new 2021 Durango Hellcat! Great review. 👍

There is a Hellcat version, VR means Voice Response, and the hatch opening button is in the console above you near the rear view mirror.
The hatch release is on the center dome light
The place where you have the gas cap release in your Durango is the trunk release in my Charger Hellcat. The gas button in the Charger is in the driver's door, but like way down and in the back where you have space to put stuff in the door. Very weird. Maybe check if your trunk button is here.
Edit: You found it ! Haha anyway the placement for the gas cap button in the charger is weird honestly.

This is much better than a Chevy suburb bus, Chevy Tahoe tiny 3rd row and all the little 3rd row crossovers that look and drive like minivans.

Riyad Kalla my wife has a Durango R/T and I think it’s plenty of power! You’ll be surprised. I also have a challenger 392 to compare it with
[Nathan] Thanks for the heads up, I had the 5.7 in the 300 that I felt like was definitely powerful enough and I guess the curb weight between those two cars isn’t so big that I should expect significantly different performance. Idly enough I was super impressed with the 5.7 in highway gas mileage also. I always felt like the 6.4 that I had in a 392 SRT was never fast enough unless I was redlining the car. Sounded amazing though.
Riyad Kalla no problem! And I love the 392 but agree that the 5.7 is a good balance and we get about 24 mpg highway. Plus you don’t have to worry about 91 or higher fuel.
Thus color combo holds value man. Along with the knuckle white and blue stripes

i paid 30.000 for a 2016 ford flex ecoboost twin turbo awd its a 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds so i dont know seems like they taxing for this one
Love the flex, hidden gem not a lot of people know about and the eco boost models are a PIA to try and find. Very rare.

the center console has another top portion, the rear hatch open is in the mirror.

I just put 1,000 down on my 2022 white knuckle white SRT and while designing it, we could not get the heat releasing louvers. We have the air induction but could not get the 2 black heat release louvers on each side of the air intake. Does anybody have any input as to why I cannot get those as an option? Do I have to have racing stripes or a certain color or something in order to get them? Any input would be super helpful as they will start building this any day and I need those damn louvers n my life! Thanks!!!
Dodge needs to improve the crash ratings on this vehicle. This thing is a death trap when you get in a serious accident.
Just curious the Durango or the Jeep Grand Cherokee? The track edition..
Durango has a much higher towing capacity and third row, if that’s what you need. Grand Cherokee has more off-roading capabilities.
New hellcat Durango coming hopefully in 2021 will be as fast a Jeep.
Carson D will they ever stop i mean my parents had a challenger hellcat here in England and even on our non winding roads it was a lot, but my my mums SRT Durango I feel needs a bit more power though and so I would prefer a hellcat next. Either way love what dodge is doing

They are really nice and like Durango's more than the Cherokees. That's one of the reasons why I think they should have offered it in a Hellcat version, before the trackhawk and heard that they are going to finally build it this year though. It's awesome that FCA has been focusing on their performance reminded customers, and bringing us the goods. They've let the SRT boys go nuts, and love what they're doing with these high hp mills. The numbers just keep going up, and is incredible that you can buy an almost 800 hp vehicle right off the dealer's lot. I own one of the original Challenger SRT8 with 6.1, and is almost half the hp rating of a redeye lol

It's nice, but I'm not sure if I'd spend close to 80k for it. I'm not that big of a fan of SUVs. I rather buy the new C8 or a Hellcat Redeye.

"Weird quirk"? Would you rather the radio controls be on the paddles themselves? Will you be needing to change the radio station between shifts in a race? If they were on the actual paddles you'd be complaining that it was messing up your radio volume while shifting. Don't nuke unimportant details.

93 octane premium is likely the best.

I would get them down to like 70,000$ out the door. You never pay msrp, you work them down from the invoice price. Which they paid about 60,000$ to get it at their dealership.
Yes, i just bought a 2020 Durango Srt a week ago with a $3500 rebate that expired on 2/3. I paid $63,000 loaded up except no TVs in back. You can find them everywhere in the 60s but they go fast off the lot here in Florida

I have a hard time between this and a Toyota Sequoia. Although I know this is faster, toyota is more reliable and has more space, just doesn't look as good and isn't as fast and doesn't have as much engine mods.
It's kind of misleading to call this rwd biased awd system, at least to a degree. Unlike say the BMW M5, or even the 5.7L Durangos, the SRT uses a permanent AWD system. So its predominantly sending torque to all 4 wheels, those other two vehicles send it predominantly to the rear wheels.
The platform is a RWD based platform. Even if this model gets an awd system. You can order a Durango with RWD only. The Durango SRT does send most of the power to the rear wheels. It just doesn't have a full RWD mode like the M5 (which awd cars only recently started to offer)
@@EddieX It is a RWD platform, but the AWD is more like the WRX STI that anything else. By default the AWD system has like a 48/52% torque split, and it uses a clutch pack to bias more torque to the back in different settings. While truly rwd biased awd systems seems power power to the back by default and then send torque forward.
