Great video. Alcantara is a synthetic material akin to micro suede. It is a fabric in other words. Suede is a natural material. This doesn't mean that alcantara is better or worse but simply that it is not a natural suede or leather. Many people actually prefer it as it is easier to clean and some suggest more durable.
Had a 15 rt durango 5.7 and loved it, traded on a srt durango in 2018 and loved it, traded that on a 21 hellcat durango and LOVE it. My dream vehicle

Hey there Coy, I realize this vid is over a year old, I just wanted to say I just picked up a 2023 SRT 392, and while I doubt you still have your 21 was there any upgrades besides a catch can that you may have done or may recommend. Thanks brother. p.s. I only have 285 miles on her same color with the gold fleck and demonic red interior with red seat belts

My 21 RT blacktop just got totaled. Thinking SRT to replace it. You feel the power is enough to keep you smiling?
Honestly man, I don’t feel like the horsepower difference from the R/T Durango to the SRT Durango is worth the 20 some odd thousand dollars you have to spend to get an SRT. We aren’t talking but about 100 HP. Don’t get me wrong, I love my SRT Durango, and the power feels good, but it’s a lot of money for minor changes over the RT. If you wanna get something with a 6.4, get yourself a 392 Challenger or Charger. All that horsepower plus it’s the same price as an RT Durango, cheaper in some markets.

It’s not as prominent as the TRX or the Hellcat powered cars.
2022 SRT Durango here, best damn vehicle I’ve ever owned. And more leg room for the driver than a Ram 2500 if you can believe it.
I been Looking at 2021 392 Srt Durango & Looked at 2022 Srt Durango & I couldn’t tell difference.Like the whole inside was same and they both had Big Radio screen I really couldn’t tell besides the 2022 I think had more aggressive front end & is 2022 faster ? But I couldn’t tell difference I trying pick from 21 Durango & 22
We use to have a 2019 Durango 392, but my parents traded it in for a Hellcat Durango, It is black with blue stripes

Hello just found your channel. We bought a 2017 Durango RT a few months ago. We love it also. The vented seats are the best thing we didn't know it had till we got home and I looked over the owners manual.

Been watching a lot of videos like this to compare but decided to just go with the 2021 RT blacktop instead of the extra 20k for the SRT, for less than 20k you can get a whipple with supporting mods and be faster than the srt and they supposedly have the same 8 speed as the rt only the hellcat Durangos is tougher to handle the torque
Bought my wife the SRT durango in December.
Biggest Con:
Something major you have NOT mentioned is the lack of space between the 1st row and 2nd row seating. It is very poorly designed.
Anyone 6ft or taller can barely fit behind the driver without their knees being buried in the drivers seat and the drivers seat having to move forward. Bad bad design.
We bought this to put more people in to keep miles off my RAM and it turned out to be a HUGE disappointment with the seating.
We have teenagers and they don’t complain about the leg room. I’ve never gotten in the back seat
Yeah you’re tripping I’ve had this model Durango since it released and never had complaints about space in any row
@@0DWalker0 I'm not "tripping", you just have either smaller people in your backseat or people that don't say shit but the cabin/seating space dimensions do not lie.

Does your DSRT bounce around alot? My 21 DRST bounces around like the shocks are bad, only have 5k miles on it. I have other trucks and cars, nothing bounces around like this thing.
No. I never had any issues with it. I put the 13,000 miles on it before trading it in for a Hellcat Durango.
