@@CZEN2the lottery system has become a necessity here. When direct preorders open the website collapses, it becomes inaccessible and on top of that doing refreshes has a high chance to get a temporary ban likely to prevent bots.
@@CZEN2it was extremely bad when they opened preorders for Mighty strike chogokin, and all the seed freedom metal robot tamashii, so they made them available a second time as lottery but only for the metal robots, there is way too much demand compared to what they can make. I think it’s becoming hard for them to really know what percentage is sales that reach customers vs scalpers. There is currently an overstock of one particular soul of chogokin I noticed so it’s getting price cuts
@@CZEN2They did an experiment with the metal build strike freedom being sold directly on tamashii store osaka satellite, it was bad, I went both days they were giving tickets (1 per person) but didn’t really check if people were redoing the queue or bringing third parties, there was like over 7k people for less than 1k of them. I didn’t win on day one and day two they cut it short and I missed getting the ticket so did a lot more due to safety concerns because of high crowds. I ranked up after that event and won the strike scheduled for november from the lottery and another friend won the lottery for both. I already won the destiny one so I didn’t participate for a second dip. But I became sky after the event and will be forest in a couple of days, my friend is close to sky or will be sky in the next update. So in theory higher ranks get extra chances.
It appears that Bandai is experiencing supply chain challenges, resulting in an inability to meet demand even within Japan. Consequently, other countries are likely to face even greater shortages. This situation has been ongoing since the pandemic, despite the company's plans to establish a new factory to alleviate supply constraints.
