Guardian Talisman does not work on bear form, sadly. Bear and dire bear form only multiplies armor from items (the white armor text on the items themselfs). That´s why set-boni that give armor don´t work either. Still a good trinket at that lvl!^^
Small gripe: in multiple videos of yours like this, I learn of an item I want, only to look it up and see that it's Horde side only. A quick mention of that would be nice. Great videos man
I like this video... This type of thing is what makes me think Vanilla will be very successful in the modern gaming era. Getting a trinket before lvl 50 feels amazing, even if its not BiS it feels great to finally have one less empty slot.
We used the Luffa at 70 on Moros in Kara to remove his garrote... When you started out there with crap gear, removing that bleed took a lot of pressure off the healers
The Sweet Amber quest wasn't from the Searing Gorge in Classic, it was from Westfall from Grimbooze Thunderbrew located in the Dagger Hills south of Moonbrook/Deadmines entrance.
I started a few months before the burning crusade came out, that boot flask was legit the funnest thing to just use around new players. It astounded me when I saw it and made me explore, and I did the same to many a new player.
Every single video I watch makes me switch what class I’m going to main. Doesn’t even have to do with class selection. It’ll make me question my class. Back in initial release of vanilla I mained a Paladin for the entire duration of vanilla. Now as a rogue main, I keep switching between a rogue, warrior, priest, or warlock. Ahhhhhh.
Been watching your sub count go up over the past few days. Good job with the format of your videos and you have great distilled information keep up the good work!
@@Punkrat I came down to the comments after seeing the boot flask part of the vid because that entire quest chain has you go all over the world and will take hours of travel to do even if you know where to look. The mallet IS super easy to get. Kill an elite, get an item, go to an alter, use the item and boom, you have your mallet. All classes can do This with a little trickery, perhaps one or two stealth potions, if you Are not a rogue or druid.
Fun Fact: Mark of the Chosen from that level 40 Maraudon quest is the best in slot trinket for Feral Druid Tanks all through Naxx & Vanilla! It's amazing. So you definitely want that to be starting Dungeons rather than the other two you listed, seeing as you'll be using it for the next 2 years! 😂
1 note: the polymorph from 'Six Demon Bag' is not the same as a normal Polymorph... this polymorph doesnt regenerate the targets health and also u can get polymorphed urself.
Barov Peasant Caller is technically quest trinket altho it does take you on lvl 60 to Scholomance at least once. It is super fun, very helpful in many cases esp. farming, and with new meta kinda required for AQ40, also one of the rare quests with interesting counterparts for both factions
The mark of the chosen is actually BIS druid tanking until AQ. they get hit a lot and 25 str, sta, agi is amazing for druids for a lot more threat and hp
Mark of the chosen is pretty much pre raid bis for a feral tank. In terms of overall tank value (TPS & mitigation it beats the enchanting armor trinket. Combined with mark of tyranny. Smotts compass is great until you get ur hands on tyranny.
Bears don't care about armor from effects, which is why guardian talisman is actually trash for them, they care about armor from gear, because it gets multiplied by their bear form, which is why warden staff, smoking heart of the mountain, and mark of tyranny are their forever BIS weapons and trinkets, despite warden staff being a level 48 world drop boe epic, mark of tyranny being a pre-raid quest reward from ubrs, and smoking heart of the mountain is a craftable enchanting trinket.
Dammit I cannot wait for classic wow. There are so many things from that game that made it amazing. Leveling and getting geared actually mattered. The hype is real
Might not be a quest/drop trinket. But IMO for the level, Goblin Jumper cables are one of the best trinkets out there for classes without res capability. Especially classes like hunters and locks with Feign Death and Soul Stones. Cables can be had at level 10! ( if you roll gnome) I cant think of another trinket you can get sooner that is actually useful. Comes in so handy when your group wipes. has saved me a lot of time in low level instances on my lock. Just FD or SS when a wipe is coming, jump the healer and carry on. once again not a quest/drop trinket, Just an honorable mention.
My fabs of the list are Carrot on a Stick and Shade of Eranicus. Btw I also like one the the Argent Dawn trinkets, the one that summons a knight. I still have it on one of my chars.
I love it on my hunter, its an extra damage cd while arcane and multi are on cd. And can help your pet survive in PvE. In PvP it can disarm/stun a melee who would otherwise spam slows on you. Once they are your dead zone it is hard to escape.
No mention of the Blazing Emblem? It drops random, which makes it fairly rare, but it can be bought from the AH! Very useful for MC and other encounters (And can drop around Level 40).
Solid video but it would be a good idea to mention that certain trinkets are faction specific (i.e Rune of the Guard Captain which is horde-only). New players won't know this and I'm guessing those are the people you are targeting with these videos? :)
You know you can just have another player pull while you cast a low ranked heal on him. But asking non holy pallys to heal is like asking a fury warrior to tank.
Hello good vidéo, I just wanted to say that Mark of the Chosen is top tier for druids and druids get armor bonus only from gear not from any buffs. So the 350 armor is good but it doesn't get amplified I believe. Mark of the chosen is really the one you wanna get as a druid.
I wouldn't go out of my way to get any of these trinkets. I'll try to get the badlands trinket if I can get the Frost Oil somewhat cheap but will ignore all others.
Interesting list What do you think about the Darkoon Faire card trinkets that you can get? Back in classic I got myself the Blue Dragon card for my priest, I think it was from the beast set and I was very happy with it. But I'm curious how useful the other cards are.
The twisting nether darkmoon card is especially useful on holy priest in bgs and wpvp. It has a 10% chance of letting you come back to life with 20% health and mana when your killed for the next four seconds. However if your speced into the spirit healer ghost talent, when you die, if the trinket procs you'll get to heal your full time as a spirit healer then the option to rez will pop up for 4 seconds. The trinket can also proc unlimited times in a row, so if you've got rng god favor you might come back 3 times and kill off multiple enemies, or keep multiple allies healed much longer than normally possible. Honestly if I got any class the trinket I'd get it on a priest or hunter. Hunter can just swap to the trinket in feign death when you think you might die to try and take advantage of the trinket. I dont think the trinket has an internal 30 second CD like on use trinkets when you swap to them. Plus its always a great feeling on hunter when you feign death in PvP and people actually think you died.
Guardian Talisman armor is not multiplicative with bear forms so it's actually quite a poor trinket for bear druids. As a general rule, any "green text" armor (from buffs, scrolls, etc.) will not multiply with bear forms. "White text" armor (from gear pieces usually) will multiply with bear forms.
