Un-related noted, it would behoove you to script your videos, this helps clear up the "ums" and "uhs" that people tend to do in normal speech. Great video keep it up!
Sorry to be rude. This list had either trash or popular items in the list, nothing against the attempt to make a new list with different , but that doesn't change that the attempt doesn't turn out well. A level 6 int for a pretty high dungeon quest.. This doesn't last til level 60. You get a better ring as alliance at very early level and at level 20 already some rings that have better overall random stats and drop often enough to not worry about an annoying escort quest. It's an okay extra if you can make it while going through your dungeon, but thats not a ring you can "look forward to", the exp you gain lasts longer. Thrasher Blade is probably the most popular weapon you can get as a meele. Most sword rogues do their first raids with this item. The only thing I could think of that is more popular would be the loot from SM Arms, a wet dream for every warrior on the planet.. And almost every rogue had vanquisher sword while leveling. Defias Brotherhood Quest is also a thing everyone knows about. Some items also are not worth the effort, with various similar options at hand. For example, the dagger from SM Gy has 21dps and is 1.7 speed. You will usually have a slower dagger for your mh. And it has a dropchance of 10%. I can't even remember dropping it with many levels of exclusive grinding in gy for exp. Before this dagger might drop for you, you are already the level to get the caster dagger from library with a 50% drop chance, that is much better in offhand and even with the very fast attackspeed, is almost as good as the poker as mh. And the firedamage is already calculated in the DPS of the weapon, it's not a bonus that adds up. What I was looking for were some equipment items from quests in very unpopular areas for example. The beastslayer weapon were the only thing coming close to this idea, to help farming in this area. Underwater Breathing was also a good item to mention, that could help in later quests. Though most people probably know about the weapon but don't care enough to get it, because of the very very minor applications to waste a inventory slot or change weapon.
Adjusting the title to something more along the lines of "10 Useful Leveling Items" instead of "Top 10 OP Leveling Items" might work better and seem less misleading / clickbait-esque

IDK what you're on about with Hydrocane because it has always been considered a legitimately useful "situational utility equip" for classes that can equip it and don't have an easy way to get water breathing. Warriors, Hunters, Mages, and Priests lack any way to get water breathing outside of items/gear and can all equip the staff. There are PLENTY of quests that require you to be underwater for a significant amount of time and so being able to equip it (usually via a macro) allows you to stay underwater the entire time; you equip it in between mobs and just equip your real weapons once you're in combat and you essentially have infinite free water breathing. Undead players don't really need it, for Warlocks/Shaman/Druids it's completely useless, and alchemists can make potions but not everybody plays that race, or those classes, or has an alchemist. Everyone in your comments is talking about how all of this stuff is common knowledge. Common knowledge to who exactly? I've been playing WoW off and on for 12 or more years? I don't know anything about BIS vanilla items. This is really great information for a "noob" like me I guess.
Just learn how to use a database instead, that's really the single best thing you can do. ClassicDB (google it) is excellent for Vanilla and even has old wowhead comments saved. There you can list any gear to see which are BiS at any given point, quests, trainer and vendor locations, list dungeon quests, etc... There are thousands of items in WOW, unless you use a database you're going to be constantly asking "whats best", "where is X", "what level is X".. and so on. Just a rough idea of how to browse a DB, will mean you're not a "noob" any longer.
@@dinoflame9696 oh I know I use them when I run into certain things I'm unsure about. Does a top 10 OP leveling items list..... Doesn't talk about gravestone scepter, the most op wand a caster can get, doable as early as lvl 19 ( realistically lvl 24~ if fresh server) and will last you until early/mid lvl 30s.
who lol he mentioned it in the beginning
Are you insane? Watch a video before I comment? It's the 21st century man.
@@MetaGoblin Yeah soz I must've missed it , my bad :p
Is this video an early april's fool joke?
That int ring is good for hunters also
It's probably best suited for hunters tbh since casters will probably stack spirit more.
It's just been how many years since all of this stuff was relevant and people still remember all of those specifics off the top of their heads from Vanilla? If the problem is him bringing information from ClassicDB to youtube, I don't see why anyone would complain about that.
Classic db is the way forward
You need to start cutting your audio. There is so much stuff that could've been cut out, to make the video smoother, shorter and therefore more enjoyable.
Hard to find the time to write scripts these days I only have a couple of hours free after work for videos. I've been sneakily writing them at work lmao.
Maybe remake to two videos top 15 for each side 1-60
Snake hoop?
snake poop
Been watching you for a while now.. Please fix the over lay on your bars and chats. I used the same UI and its lowkey trigger me. But anyways great video loved it. Also I've used that bow prob from level 19 to 39 on my hunter on lightshope lol
when i recorded this footage I was far away from the screen so needed to enlarge everything lmao
Man, you can tell we need classic to come out sooner rather than later. None of these items are OP. I commend the effort, but Jesus this is dull
Keep workin @ mcdonalds m8
They keep rejecting my CV mate, bored of working as a digital marketing strategists for a university lmao.
Wait, did you just say that " You change gear pretty quickly " and you re talking about WoW vanilla? Seriously?
Have you ever played wow? It is so f*cking common to see people lvl 45 with random green shit from lvl25 or so...
Yeah to be fair quest rewards are quite sparce.
Oh look another classic private server player who thinks he knows wtf he is on about....
Yea honestly the gameplay in the background speaks for itself. He overheals so much and ends up oom
in that footage I was in green gear lmao and with my totem quests bugged so no water totem
I drink and I know some things
MetaGoblin Well if you have nothing better to show than whatever this is, just stop posting videos all together please.
VISCOUS not Vicious lmfao
lmao I always pronounce shit wrong.
Wait wtf? You made this video but you forgot to put in the most important item?
classicdb.ch/?item=7997
lmao
Thrash blade is NOT pre raid BiS....dal rends set are far stronger than thrash blade.
Don't forget you might not win dal rends
@@amhialmansoori3428 it's pre bis....you just run it until you get it.
@@coatesjoseph true
they are the next best thing until you farm for dalrend
@@MetaGoblin No....they are not.
Ebon hilt of marduk(scholo drop)
Dragons call(rare drop from sunken temple)
Krol blade(easy to get on AH)
Ironfoe(rare AF drop from BRD)
Sword of zeal(easy to obtain from AH)
Skullforge reaver(drops from Strath)
Assassination blade(also from AH)
Bloodrazor(Also on AH)
These will all outperform Thrash blade....essentially thrash blade is only good while leveling.
Legs best Herod item? This guy hasn't Windfury Ravager Axed.
It can nerf the dps of some classes since it restricts abilities
You are really nagging on about this FLAT INT INCREASE. On warlocks and Priests spirrit goes over Int if you spec properly, Thats 2/3 of the caster classes. So alot of this is incorrect simply cause you dont know what stat a leveleing boi should be focusing on.
nagging like a fisherman's wife lmao
Dang
your vids once had a high polish. maybe you make more casually thesedays. to say few things. these items arent op. some are but others arent. not everyone has been playing pservers for 8 years. so go from lowest denominator
I used to be an unemployed single student who didn't go the gym haha. 2 hours of free time per day these days.
The vast majority of these items get replaced within 10 levels, dont make a video just to get views. If its titles OP levelling gear, choose op gear for fucks sake
op remake soon lmao
poor video
lmao ye
Really not that important of a Video - Most of these items are meh & unimportant.
water breathing is underrated trust me, wait until you have to do the underwater quests in hilsbrad.
XD
Wish I could dislike this shoddy list more than once.
I will dislike the video for you so then you've technically disliked the video twice.
MetaGoblin you’re a good sport. Honestly your video isn’t bad, but nothing on this list qualifies as overpowered. You also didn’t mention the Sword of Omen with the Vanquisher’s sword. That’s like eating the macaroni without the cheese.
@@Supergunderman remake coming soon ty for the suggestions
well so standard item and not game breaker sadly , video is good item aren t :s
Classic is comming but don t use it do every purpose .. u can do better i guess
soon
lawl ... nice try, but what REALLY is useful ... is just having fun and not having item xyz .... :D
You're not wrong
