The Deathcharger dropped by Baron Rivendare is usable by Tauren. Under normal circumstances they cannot ride Deathchargers or Raptors, and are limited to Kodos and Wolves. This means that it is not "kinda useless" to all horde players, and neither is the raptor that will be dropped in Zul'Farrak. Tauren get the short end of the stick when it comes to mounts, making these rare mounts extra valuable to them.

She paused in her story, looked at me puzzled. "Can I buy it back after I sold it?" she asked. I died. 100% a true story. I'll never forget this moment. LOL She is lucky she's great or I don't think we would have made it past this moment.
I had the Disgusting Oozeling back in the vanilla wow. You could throw pints of beer at it which the boozeling would drink. Also after few patches Blizzard too the oozeling aura off but added bubbling sound effect which would drive people on the raid crazy. Total silence then suddenly... bubbling.
I farmed Hyacinth Macaw for a very long time during WotLK. On the Cata pre-patch launch, I had racked up over 20k kills on pirates. Within a week of the pre-patch landing, my friend had it drop from a random enemy in STV. He was lovely and donated it to me probably to stop me from throwing my laptop off a building.
I fished up The 1 Ring and Crafty in Wrath. My sister was so pissed at me because she had been trying to get both of them since Vanilla, and I come along and casually fish in Orgrimmar and catch them without even knowing they were in the game.
I found the oozeling by accident back in the day. It has a 3% chance to drop from the bags, but the bags themselves have a relatively low drop chance too, therefore making the drop rate more like

Had many of the 1 rings drop, always thought it was trash tbh so I'd vendor them😖. Now the death reigns I farmed even in WOTLK. Never even got it then. I'd farm on my dk for hours a day, so frustrating lol
The only time I ever saw a Teebu's drop was in 2006 during the opening of Ahn Karaj off the outdoor raid bosses that were part of the event. And I ran alot of dungeons to help people and their alts get attuned for stuff like Onyxia, BWL, MC, and farmed the dungeons for rare flask and tailoring patterns like Robes of Faith and flask of supreme power

6:03 theres an Easter egg in oldschool runescape where if you take a gold ring to this volcano in the deep wilderness and you use the ring on the volcano a goblin will pop up and say "MY PRECIOUS NOOOOOO!" and he starts attacking you. Lol
10:30 3% chance to drop is definitely off. That may be the current drop rate from the bags themselves but since the bags are fairly uncommon the drop rate ends up being more like 0.01%-0.1%
Had the epic parrot drop during BC off a random ass tiger by the entrance to Stranglethorn, near the Ally camp by the duskwood entrance, on some alt too.
Probably my best drop was the star belt tailoring pattern, it creates a unique t-mog belt and wowhead lists a grand total of SIX drops ever and I have never seen anyone else with the pattern. You can see it on my toon Zodlike Uldaman. I've gotten several oozelings [cave in winterspring (Mazthoril) is a good place as there is also a chance for the whelpling and rare t-mog items, (kill the Dimentional Ooze)] and I've also found the the macaw, but I would say the black tabby for ally is harder to get, you used to be able to kill thousands of hill stags as they ran in a large group (Hillsbrad Foothills) and would instantly respawn to get the cat easily but that exploit was fixed during Cata.
Farmed the death charger for YEARS and can only remember it dropping once in a random dungeon group. Needless to say I didn’t win it and never saw it again.
So check it out. I was grabbing a Songflower buff the other day in Felwood, right before an Onyxia run. This ooze aggroes me right as I finish nabbing the buff, so of course I Mortal Strike it into oblivion. Ooze drops a ooze-covered bag, which in turn drops a Disgusting Oozling. Just unbelievable. Never would've attacked the thing had it not aggroed. I even had a Summon ticking on me to bring me to Dustwallow.

2 things I'd edit in this... first Gnomes are halfling not dwarfs lol. Second, the disgusting ooze is super valuable for AQ 40 C'thun depending on the patch they put in for it. You can use its debuff to override C'thuns stomach acid.
I played vanilla when it first came out 15 yrs ago... I stopped playing the last 12yrs. I recently restarted playing and intro'd my husband to the game. Low and behold the mount dropped from Rivendare and my husband got it. We were playing on retail so he was able to trade it to me and now I own one of the rarest mounts in the game. This is when I found out our love was true love. This happened a few days ago.

right now theres sooooo many people questing in that area that there are bound to be a few floating around. give it a few months when theres no nearly as many levelers and people have more money for vanity stuff after farming all thier bis and rep and the price will increase dramatically

Hey punkrat or any other classic player, Im new to classic and I have a question. Is there a way to not get scammed when letting strangers craft gear for you? A guy was crafting lionheart helm’s but you get him the matts. Should I just blindly trust him or is there a safer method?
Months and months of grinding pre- WOTLK and I was able to get rivendares deathcharger and my ZG raptor. I also have the rare slow turtle mount I got that during BC. I also saw the zulian tiger drop but I lost the roll on it lol.
Forgot to mention that people used to actually farm the Oozeling as a BiS raid item. Why? How? Well, during the C'thun fight he randomly teleports people inside his stomach, and once in his stomach you get a nasty stacking nature damage DoT. However, if you summon and resummon the Oozeling over and over you will eventually drop the DoT debuff due to all the Oozeling Aura's you apply to yourself, meaning you can completely cheese the stomach part of the fight. Probably won't work in Classic though!
the oozeling actually broke the game because at one time ppl were macrospamming to summon/dismiss re summon etc. etc. the pet to pretty much cancel raid boss debuffs...this was patched out later but for example u could pretty much make the c'thun stomach acid debuff disappear in a matter of seconds with the oozeling macro and a looot of other nasty debuffs.
I got the Rivendare Deathcharger and his epic sword on my retail account...got both way back in Vanilla wow..I loved that dungeon and pure luck on the mount .
I once got the Blade of Hanna as an orc hunter in ZG. Back then, oh, about 20 years ago, it had +11 stats on everything. The weapon had real style; I didn't see anyone else with that weapon back then. The last item is not really rare.
Questing in Felwood last week I must of had some insane luck because within a 30 minute span I got the disgusting oozling and the Edgemaster Handguards. I'm on Kromcrush horde side and yes they are for sale if someone wants them 😁
I think deathchargers reigns is .02% or like 1/5000. The 1% rate is from a later expansion, maybe TBC or Wrath. I farmed it pretty easily at 1% in Wrath, dropping 50:1 on the older droprate. (On average you'll get it 50 times @1% as someone gets it once @ .02%)
the parrot will never be really valuable because it's 99% the same as a 40 silver parrot, only different color. there are just not enough players who care for that.
I have Rivendares horse, I’ve only seen it drop once in 15 years and I’m pretty sure I ran that strat over 600 times across all my toons over the years. With all that said, good luck farmers!

The debuff from the oozling is the reason why it was so sought after. It prevented you from getting other boss-related debuffs
With the oozeling you also have to take into account that the oozes don't always drop a bag which increases rarity even more

It’s really easy to fish the one ring in Orgrimmar.
Teebus also can come from Heavy Junkboxes that rogues can pickpocket off of lvl 50+ mobs.
Just a headsup to get the mount off baron you have to complete the instance within 45mins for the mount to be on the loot table

The oozeling is 3% drop rate in the bags, which means you gotta multiply the chances if you wanna see the odds of dropping it per mob
Guys what is the right way to ask for deadmines and diremaul .. is it DM for deadmines and DiM for diremaul ? Or VC for Vancleef and DM for diremaul ?

Doesn't the death charger get flying with BC?
The moment you realize the 1 Ring was rare. I pulled it out of the lake in Silverpine (I think), chuckled, equipped it for a bit then vendored it.
Got the parrot while leveling. Sold it for 40g. 2 were on Ah for 60g.
They will go up. I almost got one for 60g, payed 90g in the end but don't regret it one bit :P
the oozeling actually broke the game because at one time ppl were macrospamming to summon/dismiss re summon etc. etc. the pet to pretty much cancel raid boss debuffs...this was patched out later but for example u could pretty much make the c'thun stomach acid debuff disappear in a matter of seconds with the oozeling macro and a looot of other nasty debuffs.
I got the Rivendare Deathcharger and his epic sword on my retail account...got both way back in Vanilla wow..I loved that dungeon and pure luck on the mount .
3% drop rate for the bag it comes out of, or for the pet itself?
I once got the Blade of Hanna as an orc hunter in ZG. Back then, oh, about 20 years ago, it had +11 stats on everything. The weapon had real style; I didn't see anyone else with that weapon back then.
The last item is not really rare.
Questing in Felwood last week I must of had some insane luck because within a 30 minute span I got the disgusting oozling and the Edgemaster Handguards. I'm on Kromcrush horde side and yes they are for sale if someone wants them 😁
Oozeling debuff used to be used to exploit the debuff limit for certain boss fights
I saw teebus blazing longsword drop in my first MC run in classic. It dropped on like the 2nd trash of something. Man I wish I'd won it.
I got the one ring on a hardcore character. Very cool, sold it for a few gold I believe
I think deathchargers reigns is .02% or like 1/5000. The 1% rate is from a later expansion, maybe TBC or Wrath. I farmed it pretty easily at 1% in Wrath, dropping 50:1 on the older droprate. (On average you'll get it 50 times @1% as someone gets it once @ .02%)
The Baron mount is great to see on horde if it went to a Tauren. Only skeleton horde they can ride.

the parrot will never be really valuable because it's 99% the same as a 40 silver parrot, only different color. there are just not enough players who care for that.

What about the Pendulum of Doom from Uldaman?
I have Rivendares horse, I’ve only seen it drop once in 15 years and I’m pretty sure I ran that strat over 600 times across all my toons over the years. With all that said, good luck farmers!
