I like it when you make it look like a train is going uphill. It gives the wondrous feeling we all get, when watching a steamy like Clun Castle storming up Rattery Bank. Create the same sort of video with a steamy working hard, and you'll see that an "uphill" angle will give us a thrill.
Hi Michael, lovely looking I received mine yesterday from TMC had the same issue with Rails don’t think I will be ordering from them again they’ve got to big no personal service cheers Al
It is always a shock because unlike other retailers, there isn't a warning email. It must catch some people out if there isn't sufficient funds in their account at the time.
@ hi Michael it wasn’t that it was orders that they said I wasn’t log in when ordering and I missed out on about five pre orders which is very annoying when there all sold out cheers Al
Hi, great looking crane, I just wish it was functional like all the other cranes in 00 gauge, the Hornby models don’t look as good and cost less but do more, not knocking the model just wish it did more for the money. Have you seen the ‘Test Unit Gemini' RTC livery BEMU Rails of Sheffield exclusive model? The Bachmann tooling is from 2011 and the drive car has an 8pin dcc socket, £269 for this model is not great to be fair, you could buy a sound fitted Accurascale loco for that money which is ultra detailed and modern, I’m a big fan of RTC livery items but I refuse to pay mad money for it regardless of what it is, they’re not called Bachmann & Robbing for no reason, thanks for sharing.
Hi, I have seen several people disappointed in the non functional crane. I resprayed a Hornby version into a NATO green. I had Gemini on order but it is a little expensive, so I cancelled it when I realised I have a the BR blue version so I bought the paints and transfers and thought I would make my own and then add sound.
@@modelrailwaynoob Fair play to you, Bachmann is the greediest manufacturer in our unique hobby, I will not over pay for items that line their pockets! As much as some items look amazing I’m done with their rip modellers off attitude, I don’t care if I miss out on item’s because of it, Hornby are the same with their Rachael Reeves pricing, like you stated sometimes you have to make your own.
This crane is brilliant, I can see why you wanted it. Love the video 😊
Thanks Mandy. Shame it's not functional. I would have paid more and if the lights worked.

@@breintonjunction791 OIC yes that would be really annoying Al
Did you look at the Hornby Balfour Beattie Rudd wagons in the same livery? R60223 , worth adding to make up a train
Hi yes and the coach but I haven't bought any yet. A wagon would look good with this.
@@modelrailwaynoob definitely would set off these superb BB cranes
@@vcs00railway I've just ordered the coach and wagon :)
The crane looks fantastic Michael. I can understand you wanting it. Is it posable? do the boom extensions pull out? David.
@@trainsontuesday Hi David..No and that is why some don't like it which is fair enough
@@modelrailwaynoob Too bad, I thought it would look great set up "working" on a modern layout.
