@@Dustinplaysgames1 You are correct. He did eleven tours. Each tour was about two weeks long. He said in interviews that it was over 200 shows and in one interview he said it was 240. I’m only repeating what Toby said in interviews. I was just showing respect for him.
Damn, shape up? Now we are gonna argue about how many tours he did? Cmon guys, the fact that he did even 1 with the songs he wrote for our troops and the love and passion he had for them is enough for me. I wish he was around when I served. We lost an American Treasure. But, in my heart, I beleive he is in heaven with Jesus. He and Chalrie Daniels ( if ya don't know, Charlie was singing songs for Veterans and patriotic songs when it wasn't as important I guess you cab say to do so), they are singing to our Brothers and Sisters who fell and the Angels

He was a wonderful man, and was very down to earth. Met him when he first came out with his first hit. I got to sit and talk to him and the band. My father met him at the hotel and thought he was the driver of the bus. He never had the look at me I am the star. He was so humble. He is at peace now. It is not goodbye but see you later.
You have to watch his interview-Tony Keith opens up about his battle with Cancer. Clint played this song at end of his movie, He was honoured Tony wrote it about him, & even used couple of lines from conversation with Clint- hence the title- Toby asked him how he stays young his response get up in morning go outside, Don’t let the Ol’ man in.
He and Clint were friends, and while playing golf together Clint told him he was ready to shoot another movie (he was 88 at the time). Toby asked him how he did it. Clint told him "I just don't let the Old Man In". Toby loved that, and wrote that song and sent it to Clint for his birthday. Clint loved it so much he put it in his movie (The Mule). A couple years later Toby found out he had stomach cancer. He was presented with an award in 2023, and sang this song. He had gone from 270 lbs to 130. You could see the tears in his eyes while singing it, and his wife (in the audience) was crying too. Watch the Award video and you WILL cry...
My husband was Toby Keith’s security detail while he was over there doing one of his free USO tours for the troops and my husband got to personally meet him. This was back in 2005 in Iraq.
So...I agree...live it, love, do the things that make your sole happy if it hurts no one else...I have a different reason to say don't delay live...I can't get out much now, unless it's drs or getting necessities...and I am ok with it...I have seen this country, mostly on the backroads, been traveling all me life, never made it off this continent, but this is an amazing Country and I saw it all...6and I may not be able to remember short term things...but long ago and fare away is very clear...and the movie in my head of memories...I met fabulous people from Alaska to Florida and on up to Maine and back to California... Those experiences sustain me and remind me despite the now...traditionally in life I was so very blessed...I love that my family explored, I used to be mad I went to 11 different schools, now I love that my world was vast...

It's just soooo sad! Such a good man & awesome singer/entertainer! Over all sad day! RIP Toby you will be greatly missed! Much love from Henderson Ga USA
This beautiful song gives a whole new meaning to tearjerker I cry every time I listen to it it means so much to me, so did Toby Keith. I have loved all of this music
@@TormentedVet_Reactions He means that the People Choice Awards version of this song is so much better. You reacted to the correct song, just the wrong version of it.
@@TormentedVet_Reactions Yeah, this version is a great version, but if you haven't watched it yet, check out the People's Choice Awards version (don't need to make a video for it, but it is definitely worth the watch.)
Brother, Army brother, I'm gonna give you some constructive criticism and you can take it for what its worth. You did a 3+ minute intro on a 10 minute video, let it run for 1 minute then paused it to comment. Personally, I click off videos like this. So that's my 2 cents, my friend.
While I appreciate the criticism. When I have something to say I’m gonna pause and say it brother. I’m not going to change how I do my channel because one person doesn’t like it. I fully understand that I can’t make everyone happy and I’m not going to try. By all means you can support me like a true brother or you can move on to the next, that’s clearly your choice. No feelings will be hurt here. Much love and respect brother.
Toby did 240 USO concerts for the solders. Free of cost.
I knew it was a lot but didn't know the number thanks
Sorry but Toby only did 11 USO tours not 240.

R.I.P Toby Keith your music helps me on the dark nights when my war comes back 🇦🇺🇺🇸
You need to watch Toby sing this at the Grammys
It was the 2023 People's Choice Awards, not the Grammys.
