Toby’s dad was in the military. Check out his song “Angry American”. The best version is live from Iraq. Awesome. Came out soon after 9/11. Very patriotic.
I remember when this song was being played on the radio during my time in the Marines. Could hear the voice of a Veteran through his voice. Made me proud to be wearing the cloth of my country.
Thank you for your service! Our military will always hold a place of honor in my heart and home whether currently serving or have served previously. Thank you also to your family, they had to sacrifice as well.
Toby Keith never served, but entertained the US Servicemen and women in Afghanistan very many years. It was Lee Greenwood who sang the song " God Bless The USA" not Toby. Try Aaron Tippen's song " Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Flies" also. SEMPER Fi my 82nd Airborne Warrior Brother.
Based on this and your Lee Greenwood reaction there are a few more country artists you should check out too.Trace Adkins Arlington.Brad Paisley Start a band. His duet with Allison Krause.Whiskey Lullaby.Tobe has Trailorhood and Red solo cup too.
I realize that the two aren't even close but we've got the 82nd Medical Group here. So, kinda 82nd cousins-ish, kind of. Thanks to you and your family for your service!
Also, just to let you know, Army went to everyone wearing black berets in the 2000's. That's why you see the weird blue crest on them. The Rangers went to tan berets. It was a horrible move because non-line units didn't push standards for the berets. A lot of people didn't shave them or take the time to form them properly so the army looked like a bunch of Pillsbury Doughboys. Luckily they came to their senses and left the berets to those who wear them correctly, lol. Even though as a tanker, it was nice to have headgear without a bill when working inside the turret. I smacked my head far less.
Thank you for your service. My father served 26 years in the 101st Airborne but we were at Bragg for the last 4 years. Do not know how things work … I just know he never claimed the Almost Airborne ( 😂).
how it works is when you get stationed at a post you’ll usually serve for 3 years and then PCS. however, you can extend and serve longer than that. when you pcs, they basically just switch your duty station and unit and then you serve 3 years or however long there. some places are less like if you go to korea.
His dad lost his eye in the service & you should definitely listen to 'Courtesy of the red, white & blue' about 9/11. He also has the funniest videos you're ever seen, like 'As good as I once was'. He has a ton of hits, fun ones, sexy ones, patriotic ones. You should check out more of his stuff. You won't be sorry. He performs for the troops all over the world. Super talented & suffering from Cancer at this exact moment.
PLEASE PRAY FOR TOBY KEITH AND HIS FAMILY. MAY GOD GIVE THEM THE STRENGTH TO SEE THEM THROUGH WHILE TOBY GOES STOMACH CANCER TREATMENT. CAPS BAD EYESIGHT
C5 dropped all the materials tanks, humvees, ect….. c-141 was way bigger and you jumped out the back. C-130 was the regular side door jump and most used plane
@@THENOBODIESREACTS No the C5 was WAY bigger than the C141. The 141 was 167 feet long with a cargo capacity of 63000 lbs the C5 was 247 feet long with a cargo capacity of 287000 lbs. Both had a tail ramp to jump out of. But the C5 also had a nose that lifted while on the ground so you could drive through.
Don't ever disresct this song.. My youngest son was 1 yr old.. my older sons were 13 and 12.. I remember being a mom and scared to death that my older boys for sure would be drafted and going to war.. Blessed it didn't happen....Our president at that time said it would be a war for 20 yrs... he was right. I remember just holding my boys and praying they would not be forced into the military... I'm very patriotic.... but I wouldn't want my boys in war....

You have to listen to Toby Courtesy of the Red White and Blue
I was with the 35th engineers in Ft Leonard Wood. During Sapper training an injury cut my military career short and I was only 17
Same for me. I was 35th engineer battalion too. 1994. Then to Ft Benning for airborne, then to ft bragg as 82nd airborne division
@@THENOBODIESREACTS thank you for your service. I went in in February of 2001

Just one small correction. I believe the plane is a C5 not a C141. But I'm just nitpicking. Great reaction.
