Oh 🙈 actually I forgot to add minimalist multipeptide serum. I would rate it 7! I liked it but I don’t find myself reaching out for it. I prefer Klaris fundamental drops instead which has few peptides! But the multipeptide serum was nice! If you are looking for a peptide serum in budget, then it can be for you 🙋🏻‍♀️
I also forgot to mention their 10% lactic acid serum! I would rate this 8/10. It did a decent job but I won’t recommend it for beginners. Beginners, please start with 5% lactic acid or mandelic acid. Frankly, mandelic acid is my favourite AHA 🙋🏻‍♀️

Here’s what I do for my hair growth: I start my day with mild exercises. For breakfast, I have omelette, almonds, and idli. When I return back from work, I gently massage my hair. At night, I apply a few drops of liitllexttra reactivate hair serum to my hair. Just following these steps has helped my hair grow nicely.

    My personal experience.
Salicylic acid - 5/10 for my face. 10/10 for my body. Got rid off my body acne in a month ( used twice a week)
Alpha arbutin - 9/10 worked for my PIH
PHA toner - 4/10. Have to wait 5- 10 mins before proceeding with the next step. Too time consuming. Not enough exfoliating. Not gonna re purchase .
5% niacinamide - 10/10. my favorite niacinamide so far. On my second bottle.
2% granactive retinoid - 8/10 ( mild purging) new packaging and formula is good. Texture is better now. Makes my lips a bit sweaty but helps a lot with my acne.

Minimalist products that I have used so far:
5% niacinamide- had high hopes but it's super sticky.. Couldn't finish the bottle. Vya naturals is a much better option *4/10
Vitamin c- worked really really well for me *9/10

I just used formula rx once so it will be unfair for me to rate this with these other moisturisers. But I do love formularx Moisturizer’s texture and ingredients. It moisturisers my skin well without being sticky or greasy.

My view of minimalist products (whatever i used)
    Niacinamide 10%+ 1% zinc - 8/10
Niacinamide 5%+ 1% HA-5/10(didn't work much for me, couldn't find any difference )
AHA+BHA+PHA Peel- 7/10 ( i like this as an exfoliator, like 😅 that's the work of a chemical peel at home, worked very well on my acne, very very mild pigmentations. But i had more expectations like the ordinary)
Vitamin C 10%- using it currently, so far good (initially my skin purged a little, then calmed down, i avoided other actives and fancy stuffs those days, it gives a glow when i wake up in the morning, then skin eventually became normal, i should use it for some more time for exact results)
Alpha arbutin- it's been 4 days since I've started to include it in my routine, it's too early to comment on it now, but my skin broke out a little and recovering from it, hopefully it works)
PS: I've oily acne prone skin

Samapti di, I have tried that hair growth serum and what I noticed is that when my scalp is not clean or has dandruff in it then my scalp doesn't burn (maybe because then it isn't in direct contact with my scalp,so it doesn't absorb the product well?)
When I did scalp detox treatment (with cinnamon, honey and oil) and my scalp was clean that's when it felt hot.
After that, I mixed it with jojoba oil (it's expensive so I don't want to use it directly and finish it before 2 months) and applied it on my clean scalp- thankfully this time it didn't feel hot or felt that burning sensation.
For me this product has worked. A bit slow but my hair really doesn't grow and when it does it's weak and brittle (I do take supplements). In month,I've seen a bit of growth, especially around my hairline area (that's more noticeable). The hair quality is okay -ish. I haven't seen much difference but I guess we have to be patient with this product. It's hair,so it needs time to grow and show the affects.

A very thorough comment for people like me who were searching to know what caused the burning sensation with Samapti. As I was also thinking of getting this serum. But when I heard her saying it was hot on her scalp, I was sceptical of getting the product. Thank you 🤗 so much for this detailed information.

Quick query about Minimalist Hair serum. Do ur scalp gets oily after applying that hair serum ?
I heard from few people that they felt it oily and they have to wash hair frequently.
    Plz guide.

    • @dikshaml5507
      @dikshaml5507 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I stopped using it after 4 months, when I got rid of my pigmentation, and it didn't worsen or come back, but I started getting PIH again whenever I broke out and I have hormonal acne so I ended up with lots of new PIH . So it's not a permanent solution. Probably best to incorporate other tyrosinase inhibitors in your routine since we can't use AA for more than 6 months. Vitamin C should be good for you since you have freckles, which are caused by the sun. Don't forget your sunscreen.
