Loved the fact that you put the Old Girl back to breed another day! I bought the foraging hook and bag a few months ago, and they're great! Another awesome video, Joe!
I stumbled across your chanel whilst looking into Gilthead Bream fishing. Great viewing. Loved that you put that old Trojan of a lobster back. She would have tasted awful anyway. Great chanel. I am hooked.
Superb video Jay. Great haul of seafood there and good to see the old girl go back. Thankyou for words of advice with regards to the sea and the races. It can be so dangerous. Good to see Chef Barclay as well. All the best. 👌😎🙂
That's a very cool place, been here before but for us it's between 1.5 - 2 hours drive 😁 Didn't dive here yet but figured out before if the shop is named after it, it must be good! And it is! Thanks for great video Joe 👍
You know you’re a pro when before you’ve even got in the water you say, about catching a lobster “as you’ll see in a minute”. Inspirational as always Joe, cheers.
@@Adam_Outdoors At 3:50 he says “as you will see in a minute the lobsters are really far back in the cave” suggesting he knew 100% he would see some before he went in. Thanks for your riveting, albeit highly nonsensical and inaccurate, contribution to a four month old conversation.
@@ColdSpearo Even that is a general statement about lobsters hiding in holes. Lobsters are extremely common in rocky areas. It's not a stretch to say as you'll see in a minute when you're in an area where you know they are usually lol
@@Adam_Outdoors Yeah, whatever you say mate. You look like a 40 year old virgin, kiddy fiddler Scout leader type but I’m supposed to believe you see and catch lobsters every time you go looking for them, if you even ever have. Ask spear fisherman how many times they go out without seeing a single lobster. Now bore off mate, you seem lonely which is sad, but I don’t want to be your friend.
Each videos on another level to the last, this one especially hit home because of the great dives we've had there together mate. Made me reminisce of some great plaice and scallop dives and also the time cammy threw the ancor in without checking it was tied and the boat was following us along nicely (strangely) 🤣
Sadly I have a fish allergy so I can't eat any fish or shellfish. But everything you cook up and looks so nice!! But great to see another catch/cook video!
Very interesting. Foraging is so different to spearfishing. Never spearfished in the UK before, but I am moving to Plymouth in a couple of months and keen to give it a try!
Great video and haul.. Surprised the scallops are in what seems a reasonably exposed location, I thought they preferred sheltered bays with minimal wave action?
You've inspired me to give spearfishing a go but wondered, do you do breathing excersies to improve your breath underwater while at home or is it better to just improve while you're freediving.
Fantastic episode Joe, loved seeing all the different angles you guys shot together - not an easy job.

Thanks Jack, more on the way 👌
Wet wetsuit, weight belt, and the catch was always fun climbing back up the cliffs with after a dive 😂 Another good video
Thanks Troj, I do love a hike back up the cliffs!
Glad you put that old lobster back!
With chef B in tow you just know the cook up is going to be great.
Another great video Joe
👍
Indeed! Thanks Karl 👌
Bloody good fun day and great to watch it back, well done Captain good job editing!
Brilliant Joe and Barclay! Great video. Amazing to see that lobster with growth on the antenna, no wonder she wouldn’t budge 😅
So beautiful. Well done. And I’m so happy you both had a good catch and such fun. Thank you for sharing. Fondest regards.
Went to Vietnam about 10yrs ago, peaple are great, greenest place I've ever seen. Food is amazing and cheap.

Yup we love this spot, has everything, except often visibility 😂

Haha we just keep searching till we find!
That isn't what he says at all. He says about launching himself from there in just a minute.

fantastic forage mate
Thank you! Cheers!
Start point on the Devon coast, steam passed there hundreds of times going to Brixham on the cuttlefish in winter.
those scallops look bomb!!
Awesome Joe!
Epic is spot on
Another brilliant video, cheers. Just ordered one of those lobster hooks, they look great!
Thanks Jacob. Ah awesome I hope you get on well with it!
Amazing vid!👍

Haahaha! Thanks again for chasing the boat down mate 😳 Cammy whatt is he like eh!?
Wow great video Joe love the scenery. You're not just an expert forager and freediver, but also an expert hiker as well haha!
You're too kind, I'm not sure my hiking skills are expert at all!
Great video lads. Living the dream👌
Another great video 👏
love it
Thanks mate 🤜🤛
Le top bravo belle vidéo 👍💪
Good vid Joe but I`ve told you before you must stop poaching on my ground 😇😁.
Sadly I have a fish allergy so I can't eat any fish or shellfish. But everything you cook up and looks so nice!! But great to see another catch/cook video!
Ahh sorry to hear it! I should learn to get better at describing the taste!

You must!
Love these adventures and videos. Just checking Barclay is ok, as he seems a bit quiet 😊
Thnks Ivan. He's all good!
@@JoePkSpearfishing just checking he’s not under any directors restrictions that all 😂😂😂
Love your videos
Keep them coming 😁
Will do thanks Robert!
Great video and haul.. Surprised the scallops are in what seems a reasonably exposed location, I thought they preferred sheltered bays with minimal wave action?
Thanks Carl. They are fairly sheltered here, but do stay a bit deeper on the whole for the occosional storm.

I do some stretching before dives of intercostal muscles and diaphragm, but no breath holding stuff.
Sub aqua dived from my boat there lots of times years ago and you are so so right about the currents
Great video as usual
Many thanks! i bet you have some fond memories of the place 👌
What a wonderful place!!!! Devonshire, am I right? Ciaoooo
Indeed!
👍👍👍
Did you had problem with your stomach after the raw scallops
They are delicious raw, I personally have never had any issues when eating them raw. As long as you know the area has clean waters you are ok.
I've eaten raw mussels before and I threw them up after one hour
Never have had an issue 👌
Do you carry flares?
When boating yes, shore diving no...
❤🇹🇷
I love your fishing but in the beginning of the video it looks you talk too much. Love it.
