  • This is how I removed the Mercedes Benz CLA rear pads only, it was simple, but pay attention to your work, and please work on your own risk, this is only for entertainment purposes only.

    Thank you for the part about programming. You’re re the only person I’ve found that explains how to do it.

    This was awesome Car-lo. Thank you. I realized later that I had not listened to you properly but I wanted to say that after taking the two bolts out I could not take the caliper off. It finally dawned on me that the CLA has an electronic parking brake (which I am not used to as this wasn't my car) that has to be released. Once that was released the caliper came off and I followed along to the rest of your video. Thank you again!

    Hi. Do you need to remove both sides calipers and then move to maintenance mode or can do one side at the time?

    • @car-lo
      @car-lo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi,
      This procedure only apply to the rear because of the electronic brake aka ebrake- front is normal no procedure.

    About to change mine out, front and back. Do you only do the programming for the rear ?

    • @car-lo
      @car-lo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, only for the rear because of the electric parking brakes.

      Values might be calliper frame to knuckle 130-Nm, slider bolt 29-Nm, around there possibly?

      Exit out when you finish both sides.

    Caliper assembly was binding and not moving as it should when braking.

      Check the pistons make sure that moves freely and test the electronic motor that puts it to park make sure it engage and this engage.
