Fantastic tutorial …Looking at the pistons on mine I would have thought they would have needed to be rewound ? is this not the case as yours appeared to just push back easily ?
Hello, very nice, very clean work 👍👍. personally I installed brenbo in the front and back. It brakes well but still a little squeak when I brake almost to a stop. (amg cla 45) I do not ride on track with 😉
i like the camera you put on the head, just like playing games. that air gun is my favourite brand too. sadly i cant see the meter for what are you searching about and can try to talk or explain something , over all its great.keep it up!
Should he? No. Did he? Yes. 9 times out of 10 it will be completely fine, however you’ll get the 1 time where you kink the line or it’ll start to leak at the fitting cause the line stretched.
man I would like to ask u something please in one other video that u change the engine oil when u tight the bolt 40nm after u marked with some red paint can u tell me please where I can find this color ?thanks
You should doing more of that videos man! Are you thinking about doing some retrofit videos? Like changing the steering wheel to the facelift one or changing the screen to the facelift one.
My rear break pads are almost still full of material since 2 years now and the fronts have been replaced once, is there a chance my rear pads arent being used at all? I think the last guy who had the car didnt install them properly lol
Daumen hoch, schon jetzt gemacht 🙏. Bei dir ist das kein Problem 😁
Don’t disconnect the pArking brake connector, it even says in the WIS under caution. And you’re doing aftermarket pads on a TRW caliper, might as well go with Ferodo. Now in the TRW Mercedes kit for pads, they give you new stainless pad guide shims and new pin bolts. I noticed you re-used the old bolts. This can be done. But if you’re going to re-use them, you should steel brush the leftovers of threadlocker blue off of the treads and apply a fresh coat. As far as the TRW kit, the new bolts already come with that. I thought that the GLA45 was the only one with neither sensors nor noise makers for the rear pad wear, looks like the A45 also doesn’t have them. I was hoping that the big barrel under the car was the Mercedes brake fluid bleeder pump and that you’ll show how it’s operated.
Can you run us through the button commands before and after replacement ? Is that just to release of the rear brakes and to put back in again ? Also the wind back took you used is it just flat plates? I’ve done a VW before but they had to be wound in as well as pushed. Are these fine just being pushed back ? Thanks !
Super Job 😅👍.
Yeah thats right, but the caliper is not that heavy and as long the brake hose is not bending i dont see much of a problem. As you can see the brake hose hangs down in a straight line.
Can I ask you a question, have you ever experienced an issue with the start stop not working? (I know most people would prefer the stop start not to work) but I have changed both my main battery and the aux, stop start worked for a 4 weeks then stopped again??
Mine fixed when I bought a top quality main battery (VARTA F21 Silver Dynamic Start Stop AGM Battery N77H) and replaced the low voltage failing one (aux does nothing the main one is the one that needs to start the car). The main battery MUST BE 'AGM' start stop type (expensive) or it wont work.
You're a great mechanic! Quick question about these brakes, do you know the size of the dust boot/seal? I cannot find a rebuild kit anywhere for these. I have the AMG GTR CCB but I believe it's identical.
Hi WaveCeptor, what is Xentry diagnostic tool i need to use after changing the rear diff fluid? where can i buy it? i did the rear diff at home just like your video , but that tool i dont have, is ita problem? thanks,

Some say it's not advisable to hang the caliper by the brake line like that. Others also don't recommend using a rotary tool to clean the hub's rust (may leave an uneven surface). Still, nice video.
These are cast aluminium calipers, very light, you aren't going to cause any harm doing it although it isn't best practice. I'm sure he wouldn't do it if they were heavy cast iron calipers.

Nice vid, how often do you change your brake fluid? After each track season?
Roughly after two years. Sometimes earlier. Depends on how often i drive on track.
You really doing great work man👌👌👌
Great man 👍, how to set torque the wheel bolts?
Thank you :) 130 Nm for the wheel bolts.
@@WaveCeptor22 thanks~
Did you wind the pistons back without a scan tool, does this car have some sort of service mode that you can select from the incar menu?
Via the incar menu you set the handbrake into service mode. After that the pistons can be pushed back with a normal brake piston reset tool.
Brembo pads reference?
I take it that the Caliper hose may have been a braided one, generally not good practice to hang Caliper unsupported on it.
Yeah thats right, but the caliper is not that heavy and as long the brake hose is not bending i dont see much of a problem. As you can see the brake hose hangs down in a straight line.
Very few cars have braided hoses, unless this has been changed it is a standard rubber hose.

is it freezing at the moment at where you drive ? That is a problem for the Car, as Example.

Also wurde dort wahrscheinlich einfach gespart.

What mode do you need to set in the dashboard before removing the brakepads rear sir?
why don't you service the caliper guides?
Will you be doing a full coolant flush/change video in the future? Would love to learn how. Love all your videos by the way, helped me out a lot.
Do you use stock Brembo rotors, pads, lines all the way around? What wheel/tire size do you use? THX
Stock Brembo discs, Brembo HP2000 pads, Evolity steel brake lines. OZ 8Jx18 wheels and Michelin cup 2 235/40R18 tires.
What size bolt did you use to remove the caliber? Been trying to remove mines
What menu did you go to for the rear electric brake?
Thanks for the upload! Wondering if you've done any engine mods such as ECU tuning?
Hi there. The engine and the ecu is stock. But i will install a 300 cpi tuning downpipe in a few weeks.
I’m surprised that I see you don’t hand an induction kit
Can you please send me a link to all the products

You didn’t do your brake hose any favors letting the caliper hanging on it while you did the brake job.
I find your lack of faith disturbing
You shouldn't leave the caliper like that, hang it somewehere where the brake line won't damage.
