I just did this on my 2024 Model Y, and it worked like a charm. Set up a service call though because it’s technically covered under warranty so it should be fixed or replaced correctly. I’ve had a couple of cars over the years and most of them with that seat design suffered the same issue and it’s not because I’m a heavy guy, I’m only 150lbs so I think it’s just these parts are cheaply made.

Looks to me that the transmission fluid that you used is not ATF-9. Isn't it required to use AFT-9 fluid?

Which r1 did you buy?

The part you just replaced is the crankshaft position sensor. People tend to confuse the crankshaft posi sensor witb the camshaft position sensors (there are 2 of them located nearer to the top between the rear of the engine block & the firewall). The part in this video is the crankshaft position sensor.

Great video BUT when making a vid like this it’ll be so much more helpful if you could just quickly say tools used and sizes of sockets and so on

kind of a huge favor to ask but would you be able to take a picture of the two connectors at 7:48 that connects the harness to the door sill and then send me a link? I can't seem to find that connector anywhere...I got my door sills used and they look great except the wires are cut where the connectors should have been.

So I loosened up the rear bumper the way you did it on the video, but when it came to loosing up the rear garnish with the pry tool it wasn't working for me, any easier way to get it out

Dude, there wasn’t anything wrong with the original but a very superficial scratch. Now you have to worry about cleaning it every time you sweat or spill something on it.

Did you fill the filter first? There's some oil in there, too, so maybe just measuring what dripped out wasn't enough?

Hey there! I don’t have a problem with my clock spring but I watched this video to see how you can remove the cruise control buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. It looks like you just take the airbag out and then theres one bolt holding the button assembly in? Also, what year is your truck? You have the same button configuration as mine which I cannot seem to find on the internet. Thank you!!

Oil would be black 5 miles after changing it. That doesn’t mean it needs to be changed.
