@@CarswithMiles Well I'm glad you replied! With the exception of the Audi, I've driven them all. I currently have a Macan with the V6 (not the GTS, admittedly). The prior gen M3 is a good pick. The previous gen X5M as a sporty car...? That's questionable. These are all good cars, but when I think of sporty cars, I think small-ish, rear wheel drive, and made primarily for pleasure over utility.
@@DoctorSkillz Well I like to take into consideration that not everyone wants/can justify a small RWD car. That's why I was intentional about variety and giving a recommendation for a "sporty" crossover, coupe/convertible, suv and sedan. That's why the vids titled "sporty cars" and not "sports cars" :)

50k...RS3 all day. I copped a CPO 1 owner 2018 RS3 with only 8k miles for 50k last year. Couldn't be happier. Did a stage 1 tune, 477awhp 0-60 dragy 3.1 sec.

He didn’t say Sports Cars, he said Sporty Cars. There’s a difference. Sports cars refer to coupes and hatchbacks known to bring thrill even if they don’t go 200MPH. Sporty Cars refer to anything that can be a thrill to drive whether it be a rally crossover or a 600HP sedan
I agree. Suvs doesn't pop an your head when you think of sporty.. maybe corvette or shit even a modified 350z or something. Not a tank that weighs over 4500 lbs

I’d personally go with Mercedes, as I’m a big Mercedes guy. Could probably get a nice W212 E63, a solid W166 ML63, or if you’re lucky a W221 S65. The picks in the vid ain’t bad though.
A big disclaimer he failed to mention: to get any of these cars under 50k, you’ll need to buy them used at around 5 years old with 50k+ miles on them .

If you have money and skills, then yes lambo can get cheap. As in a salvaged lambo for 40k. Which then needs 60k minimum to get it running and maybe more to make it reliable
I'm a big fan of the E46 M3, myself. I know it will never be the quickest. I am okay with that. It's the chassis and engine combination I love. Along with the analog feel it has.

A 2011 750li M Sport is a good choice, but that's if you can find a 50yr old lady who owned it and only driven it for 15k miles brand new for 30k. Very nice handling cars, extremely underrated, good amount of space for everyone, even the bodies in the trunk will have fun. And when I say they're quick, they're pretty quick especially with a tune and exhaust. Once you're going over 160mph, you don't even know you're going that fast until you past someone because that's how smooth the car rides. As for every foreign car, just keep up with it needing oil, its literally less than 80 bucks to maintain the reliability of the motor.

Nice choices but you'd go broke on maintenance cost. I'd get a used Corvette Stingray Z51. Around $45K. Easy to tune and Chevy maintenance are very manageable. 👍

My first car is an Audi A4 B7 ,and if you find one with a good engine (recomend blb 140hp or it's big bro with 170hp on s line) it can last a lifetime. I've seen some with 500k+ km
