I just discovered your channel and I am so glad I did. I'm Hispanic and I don't know how to cook Mexican food. But, watching your videos gives me hope. Everything you make looks delicious and you make it look simple. Keep up the great work and I will continue watching, learning and start cooking
Fabiola Nunez, Es Un Encantó D Ser Humano Y Una Gran Cosinera, Explica Todo Muyy Bién!👌, I Love All Her Recipes, I Hope You'll Give Them A Try And Thanks For Watching!😉👍
Why would you be expected to know how to cook Spanish food just because you are Hispanic? Does your normal White person know how to make schnitzel or bake their own bread or whatever?
The marinade made all the difference, I usually just season with adobo and some garlic salt but the marinade took it to another level. Thanks for the video!
I looooooove that you said you bought the cut that was on sale. I hate how some ppl act like you always have to buy the high end stuff. These looked fantastic!
@joelabo yes, thats why i only buy meets at wholefoods. Wholefoods have a very nice high quality meats ,poultry, sea food. Specially the kind that the animal was given a good life before dead i believe is a better quality if the animal was not abused. I tru to buy organic as much as possible too i find it cheaper at sprouts . but wholefoods are getting so good at prices specially for amazon prime membership that in my opinion Albertsons is more expensice and way cheaper quality.
I like your way of explaining the process while doing this video. Very easy and understandable. I am a male and cook at home for my daughter. I'm hoping to put together a few recipes to get my own flavored fajitas. Thank you.
This is one of my favorites to order in a restaurant, but I was always scared to try it. You have inspired me to give it a try at home for my family of five. Thank you so much! 🤗
I wanted to say I have enjoyed your channel. I'm an amateur southern US cook. Looking to expand my palate. I've been wanting to learn more about authentic Latin dishes. Not the boring Tex Mex we get in Arkansas. Real food cooked by real people. I love the family aspect and influence it brings passion to your dishes. Keep it up.
I'm sure you know, but you are so good at cooking and teaching. Thank you for offering us your time, skills, and efforts in the kitchen. much appreciated! If I had my wish, I'd be able to walk down the street to your restaurant. There would probably always be a line down the street and around the block.
Also, I've been working on my relationship to food and fatness by (problematic) association. I'm watching a lot of videos of recipes that feel good and remind me of the things I love to eat, regardless of the trend of the day. Thank you for offering me avenues to go back to/move forward with happy and healthy eating practices.
Almost the same recipe that I use, the only difference is that I use Worcestershire sauce instead of Soy Sauce to up the umami factor. I guess great minds do think alike, thanks for sharing and keep the recipes coming.
Made this marinade tonight subbing lemon juice for the lime because that's what I had on hand also doubled the recipe and poured in 1/3 soy sauce instead of tablespoon woops I am sure it will still taste delicious thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for doing your channel. I've made your rice a couple times now. Today I made your steak and chicken fajitas. Oh my gosh!!!! Delicious!!!
Making these tonight and I can’t wait to try them! I have the meat marinating now :). I would love to know more about your zesty like butter in a future video 🙏❤️
I grill my fajitas then put them on the 2nd rack to finish cooking with the cast iron pan right under it to collect the fats while it's doing that I char the peppers and onion as well then cut them up in slices then throw em into the cast iron pan to carmalize it in that fajita goodness 😋
Those fajitas look FANTASTIC!! You should do a video on how you clean your cooktop. I have one very heavy grate for every two burners and the clean-up after searing meat is a total pain. Also searing meat with the windows closed in the winter sets off the smoke detectors, but that's another story...Love your videos!
Also if I wanted a good all-round beef recipe for tacos or tamales, should i use your recipe for fajitas or carne asada?
6 ปีที่แล้ว +1
Haha! Yes! I too have seared my way to a loud smoke alarm. The beef fajitas recipe is more flavorful and I actually started using it for carne asada as well.
@ Jesus Loves you and he has a plan for your life, the word of God says in John 14:3 "Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through Jesus". Romans 10:9 says "if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died and God hath raised him from the dead then you shall be saved". Here is a salvation prayer so that you can say it out loud with your whole heart - Lord Jesus I repent of my sins, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour, Holy Spirit thank you for changing me from the inside out, thank you for writing my name in the Lamb's book of life and thank you for saving my soul from Hell. If you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour congratulations because the angels in heaven are rejoicing because a soul is saved and now try to find a Holy Spirit fill church and be baptized in Jesus name.
Wow did that look so amazingly delicious. Thanks for the tip on using flank steak,Mrs. Angelica. The marinade looked so good too. Will definitely try this.
It is delicious, I tried it myself. I make mine almost like it, I use vinegar and lemon to clean it. I use lightly salted adobo, and other ingredients and cook for 45 minutes to an hour.😊
I made your recipe and we just finished eating. They were delicious!!! It's a keeper it's going in my recipe box. Only thing I changed was the lime to a lemon I don't like lime but other than that man were they good! Thank you for the recipe
This is the problem I have with marinades and stovetop searing red meat. The meat is wet and boils instead of grills. EVEN if I dry it off. On the grill, it's fine but I have no luck with stovetop methods. Almost forgot to say you are an excellent t cook and I have cooked several of your recipes, learned from your technique and my family says thank you too!
Discovered your tutorials this evening, while looking for a tortilla recipe. I am salivating!!!! Will definitely be trying to emulate your cooking in the coming days...and will even use some chilli in my cooking (not a real fan, but willing to give it a go). Your simplicity in both cooking and making of your tutorials has won me over. Thanks xoxo
This weekend is going to be 😋😋😋. Looks so beautiful and I’m sure it’s going to be delicious. Water in my mouth right away. I love cooking and I can’t stop looking to learn new stuffs.
I’m sure thats a fantastic recipe I definitely will try that for my son he and I love Spanish food , thanks a lot for sharing this fabulous food recipe 👍🙏
This is right up my alley !! I "love" Fajitas" for ever the steak Fajitas Mmmm with lots of Bell Pepper's, and onion and a nice pico and avocado !!!! Yummy delicious 😃👍🎉🎉❣️
Don't be apologetic for buying less expensive cuts of meat, that is just good shopping. I personally prefer to buy beef by the side, if not the whole steer, and get it custom butchered. It actually comes out cheaper than buying it at the grocery store, as long as you can afford the upfront costs.
I made this dinner for my in-laws for the first time, And they all loved it! Thanks again for your recipe, and I will keep using it when it's fajitas night😍 all the best!
Just this afternoon I bought boneless sirloin tip steak on sale. Marinating in the fridge right now and will be grilled outside on New Year's. It's fajitas for a few days this week and I can't wait!
Love your recepies. Simple and delicious. Have a very nice quiet voice. Your spanish is very good. Keep your style like it. The brisket recepie amazing. Here from Texas thumps up.
HELLO! I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU AND YOU ARE BECOMING ONE OF MY FAVORITE COOKS TO WATCH! THIS LOOKS DELICIOUS AND I WILL CERTAINLY TRY! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

I have just now finished fajitas made exactly according to this recipe and am blown away at how good it was. Thank you for sharing this.

All her recipes are keepers! She is the bomb!

I looooooove that you said you bought the cut that was on sale. I hate how some ppl act like you always have to buy the high end stuff. These looked fantastic!
I use round steak all the time. Once it's been marinated and sliced properly it's as good as any other cut off beef in my opinion.
joelabo what do you mean?
@joelabo yes, thats why i only buy meets at wholefoods. Wholefoods have a very nice high quality meats ,poultry, sea food. Great video! I love how you get to the point and not babble on like other videos. I will be trying your recipe. Thank you!
Marinating the meat for 2 days will make it on Sunday! So excited. I used coconut aminos instead of Maggie/soy sauce - rest remaining the same!
I grill my fajitas then put them on the 2nd rack to finish cooking with the cast iron pan right under it to collect the fats while it's doing that I char the peppers and onion as well then cut them up in slices then throw em into the cast iron pan to carmalize it in that fajita goodness 😋

Bob Rees we just bought a side of grass fed beef. We are giving our grown kids meat for Christmas. They loved the idea.
Bob, I thought Flank was a better cut than Skirt? No?
Since there's only 2 of us we get a hind quarter. It's usually very lean meat, which is a big deal for me because I won't eat meat with fat.
I tried this marinade and it is absolutely delicious
Just did this recipe to a “T”. De-licious!!❤️❤️❤️👍👍. Definitely a repeat!!!! Thx a million
