Once again, your attention to detail(s) is so admirable. Looking forward to the end results, fellas. Borja, you're looking very slim these days. Loved the moment of Dean & Danteo bonding on the couch. Thanks for sharing both the renovations and personal moments of your journeys with us. See you next week!
awesome job! looks great! love seeing Danteo too and your moms/family are incredible to help. But, as a grandma myself, I'm telling you, they are loving it too. Love from Canada.
I am so happy that you decided to make videos on youtube!!! I love your stile and I appreciate the amount of work that you put in everything. Best wishes from Hungary.
The floor came out beautifully- so worth the effort. I live in Taiwan where the bathrooms have a drain both in the shower/bath but also outside of it so the floor has a very slight angle toward that drain and there is also one inch tile lip at the door that you must step over. After buying a house in the States for my elderly mother and moving the stackable washer/dryer upstairs for one level living, I had the contractor put in a tile floor with a 2 inch surround in which the washer/dryer is stacked just in case the washer ever backed up- it did and that drain and surround kept the house from flooding. Turns out the pipe to the washer was not set at a proper angle to drain easily. Baby is looking so so darn cute 😍and squeezable🤗.
The juggle is real when you have kids... so lovely you have supportive families who are there to help when needed. Amazing attention to detail that really does make all the difference - keep going fellas you are doing such an incredible job of renovation and parenting! xxx
Great episode! With the raising of the brick, for the shower, it looked a bit like an archaeological dig. You two are phenomenal. Looking forward to the finished room! ❤
It certainly takes a village to raise a child. My husband and I are very fortunate to live close to our grandchildren. We help when we are needed. In this busy time, we are always in demand 🥰
You two being very particular produces such good results! I want to just sit (after allergy medicine) in that flowered, well-done courtyard and stare at giant white flowers, what a great, peaceful space. Who taught you guys how to do everything you do?
Great progress on the floor & shower tray. It wasn’t an easy task but you took it in your stride & still made time to help out a friend with diy. Mums & family are great at helping out with baby minding while you get the jobs done. Great video! 😊👍🏻
The walkin closet at your friends’ house came out amazing ❤❤❤❤❤ Your friends are lucky to have you nearby. Looking forward to seeing the bathroom completed. Looking good so far 😍😘
You are so generous to help your friends with their closet, looks fabulous! So glad your families are able to help out with Danteo, know they love it❤️👍
Great job in the bathroom i can imagine its going to look stunning - renovating with children is tricky i had 4 yikes mums are the best for babysitting skills and what a lovely bond Danteo will have with grandmas and family ❤ how kind for you to help your friends also what lovely guys - do you want to come and help me with some lime mortar 😅😅 thanks for sharing ❤
You are both so fantastic..so busy, but making time to help your friends. I think that the bathroom is looking great and is going to be beautiful when you have finished it. I can't wait to see it when the bathroom is done.
You’re such wonderful people, helping out friends that need you…….the baby is so sweet, it will be a special year at Christmas…the Grand - Ma’s will be so thrilled……….take care…..❤Donna in Toronto
You are great friends to help out the less mechanically inclined friends! It looked wonderful!! Your bathroom is coming together but what a jigsaw puzzle! Would love to see your estate decorated for holidays if you plan on doing!
You need a Mrs Doubtfire to help with Danteo; provide a small ‘Granny Studio’ so you have access to Danteo-Sitting whenever the need arises. It’s Astonishing that you’re juggling all of this so beautifully. Much Love from Edinburgh.
Great video! It can be tedious but the end result will be amazing, I'm sure! I'm so glad your family is able to help out with wee Donteo! I'm sure you have to twist their arms. Looking forward to the next video. Happy Thanksgiving from Chicagoland!
Borja, great work on the bricks.. the floor looks amazing 😊 suction cup is like i have for my back and it draws out toxins.. and blood causes bruising 😅😅😅😅
The progress is so interesting to watch , and the wardrobes look great at your best friends house - two more sizeable jobs (and lots of little ones )really well done !!!thank you for sharing
It looks amazing! You honestly can’t see a difference with the shower base (level wise) . Tbh I don’t like things too perfect in an older property, they weren’t built perfectly to start with 🥰.
Hi, Borgia! Love watching your vlog. Can you please tell me if lime mortar can be used over cement grouting? I want to repoint modern brick work (1970's) in order to change the grout colur and give it a fresh look. The current cement grout is in good condition and it is set back about 1cm from the front of the brickwork. I want the lime mortar to be almost flush with the front of the bricks, like you did on your brickwork in the court yard. Do you think 1cm is enough depth for the lime mortar to adhere? Hopevyou can help.😊❤
if this is purely for atheistic reasons I would do a test patch first, but otherwise you would need to remove cement further to repoint, 1 cm is a decent amount I though
For the American here (where historic homes are few and far between), is there a layer/membrane below the sand in that room that we are not seeing? Coming from a world of concrete foundations, I am very curious. Were historic homes just built straight onto the dirt and if yes, how do you keep damp from rising and destroying first floor flooring?
Could you put a link for the ready mixed lime mortar please. We live in West Berkshire so are quite close, so may be able to use the same supplier. If you ever need herbaceous plants let me know as i often have spares when dividing established plants to keep the borders looking good. May have some white agapanthus in the spring.
Hi friends- from western Canada…. Might be a dumb question but why is there dirt under the bricks? Is that the ground? Doesn’t laying bricks on directly of the ground absorb moisture and get really cold? Are all houses (this old) built directly on the dirt? I’m so confused!
I am not looking forward to our next set of renovations - but when I see what you guys have faced - I reckon I need to put my big girl pants on and stop being a wimp. Ours will be a piece of cake, but not as pretty as yours. Loving it.
It looks amazing! You honestly can’t see a difference with the shower base (level wise) . Tbh I don’t like things too perfect in an older property, they weren’t built perfectly to start with 🥰.

👏👏👏👏💯🤣🤣🤣🤣 suction cup on your head, you guys seem to always put a smile on my dial…hilarious ♥️♥️
😂😅
How do you prevent the bricks from "wicking" water from the soil onto the floor tops when they are sitting on dirt??? Take care, DA
It looks amazing! You honestly can’t see a difference with the shower base (level wise) . Tbh I don’t like things too perfect in an older property, they weren’t built perfectly to start with 🥰.
I totally agree!

How I would love to come stay at your B & B when you have it up and running. How will I know when you start accepting guests?
You can book through our website MyTinyEstate.com 🥰
Need a new season...STAT!
How did you learn to do all of this??? Is that something you reveal in part 10 of the bathroom renovation?
Dean is an Architect so he knows a bit but I learnt it all on the job 🥰
Hi friends- from western Canada…. Might be a dumb question but why is there dirt under the bricks? Is that the ground? Doesn’t laying bricks on directly of the ground absorb moisture and get really cold? Are all houses (this old) built directly on the dirt? I’m so confused!
Yes they are, even our terracota tiles are just built on soil, that’s how it was done 150 years ago ☺️
Safety googles Borja please!
true!
A lot of messing around but the floor is lovely ❤
Thank you! 😊
Do you ever become overwhelmed at all the tasks ahead?
We do when we think about everything there is to do, but we are always onto the next thing 😅
Seems like it may have been faster to lift all the bricks and level the base and relay them...
Haha it would have!
I want to be your baby’s Nanny - love you all from New Zealand.
Awww
I am not looking forward to our next set of renovations - but when I see what you guys have faced - I reckon I need to put my big girl pants on and stop being a wimp. Ours will be a piece of cake, but not as pretty as yours. Loving it.
You can do it! 😄
I should have waited to the end to press enter on comment...............OMG.......suction cup on your head, I am in tears laughing at you!
😂🤦🏻♂️
All this done without wearing John Lobb footwear. Epic.
We never see you both as parents having downtime with Danteo.
Not even Church's Boots? Quick a Fortnam and Mason Run.... Quick.
I would like to have only 30% of your DIY skills and some spare time to develop it further.
😂
💚💚💚
❤️
Can you use the Foreo mask/ cream over your beard?
Borja your sounding more and more British all the time. I really have to listen carefully to work out who is talking a lot of the time now!! 😀🤓
😅
🐨❤
🥰
❤
🥰
It's epic you both are wearing gloves. That way you won't have Grandma Hands in your 30's..
Thanks for your perspectives. Garland is such a horrible disappointment.....spineless.....all this hype and time for "nothing."
If you have made a comment are you subscribe ???????
I do not believe so no
Bit boring oys
doing the work is boring? well that is our life I am afraid a lot more of that here so....
attention to all the tiny details is so rewarding!! onward & upward ❤🤍❤ love from Alberta Canada
