- adidas has quietly released the Rivalry Low 86, and it could very well be the best retro basketball sneaker on the market. What do you think?

Just found a pair on sale. OMG!! The sleekness of the toe box, leather quality, shape. Such a classic!!!
One of the best constructed retros out right now!
Coming back to this, Mike.
adidas worked with Shake/Clicks on a limited to 414 Rivalry 86 Low “414 Day” City Series shoe celebrating Milwaukee WI and Jam Master Jay. They elevated everything. I’ll publish a story to the blog this coming week.
That GR is fantastic. Jacques Chassaing killed it.
✌🏽💙👟
this is such a clean shoe. fan of the forums and continentals too
The box is the real deal. When I was 13 I scored the hi-top version made for Patrick Ewing in 1988 at a store called SportMart in Chicago. Killer shoe.
Waiting for the highs to go on sale! Quality on those and on the recent retros like the forums and centennials don't disappoint!
Just ordered mine!
Nice! Such a solid shoe to add to the rotation
been looking for a review of these!! thank you!!
Definitely a clean pair and materials are good for that retro 80s feel. Got mine on Clearance too.
Incredible kick for the price and on sale most places defo one to stock up on the build quality is unmatched and like most rivalry’s - age like fine wine. Perfect inoffensive white sneaker with ‘heritage’. Vintage ones MIF ones have made a resurgence non-collectors have caught on !!!! Adidas are not a joke - excellent retro and breath of fresh air from I needn’t mention
Just bought the Remember the Why Rivalry Low (FZ6323) for $62 with the sale code. Holy crap the quality on these is crazy. Full suede/nubuck. Only knock it had a chemical smell when I unboxed it.
Looks pretty nice! Curious about the sizing...I know you said they fit true to size, but having a wider/flatter foot I've always shyed away from Adidas because typically their lifestyle shoes (Superstars, Sambas, Stan Smiths) have always been a bit too narrow for me. Would you say this fits more like a Jordan 1 or New Balance 550? The shape of the outsole looks very similar to the 550.
I’m a size US12/EU46 in Nike air maxes and J1s but wearing US12.5/EU47-2/3 in these as normal size was to narrow for me!
Air force 1 or rivalry lows? Which is a more solid shoe ?
You said it fits true to size, so I should order my size I wear in jordan? I don’t own much adidas
For this particular pair, I would go with the same size you wear in a Jordan 1.
thanks
Ur 100 perfect right the quality on the jordan 3 is horrible the leather is trash that adidas shoe is so nice good leather there fire for sure
Ye, I love Nike but their quality control nowadays is horrible. I recently ordered and returned a pair of olive green Blazer '77s because I could see the glue used to hold down the suede leather on the left shoe and the tongue on the right shoe was already frilling and falling apart. I know the design intentionally leaves the foam sticking out but the stitching itself was very poor.
This shoe is uncomfortable, the front hurts, the back goes off, bad quality leather, good looking but horrible to wear, and tell godown or go up one size……
How do these fit compared to the 84 Forums?
I’ve never worn the 84 forum lows, only the highs and I needed to go down a half size in those. These fit more true to size for me
