The thing about Amazon is generally the shipping costs are folded into the price. When I've done the math I've found the yarn prices comparable because shipping prices can be high at yarn sites. And thanks Elise. You worked hard on this and had a ton of good info.
I bought Yarn Art Jeans based on your recommendation and immediately fell in love. I'm not using it for amigurumi, I'm making a wearable with it and it is AMAZING!
As a Brazilian, I am very happy to see the amigurumi line, besides having beautiful colors, it was the first line I came into contact with when I started crocheting ❤
I'm so glad to see the Brazilian yarn being compared to all the others - and getting an excellent grade! Círculo has more amigurumi yarns in different textures, my favorite is the "pelucia" one, which feels like chenille and is great for plushies. Thank you for the video!
Yes, it was a surprise and happiness see Amigurumi on the video ❤️. Elise, I believe you may also like Baloon Yarn. It is a blend but also made for amigurumis.
thank you thank you thank you! as a real beginner to amigumi (it took me a whole week to make a magic circle '0). you, elise, are my *go to*....warmest regards.
I haven’t found a yarn I prefer yet, but I love bamboo yarn! It’s so soft and natural! Before I found it at Michael’s, I had no idea you could make yarn out of bamboo. I loved it so much that I’m making an LSU-themed baby blanket out of it for my cousin 🥰
My number 1 for amigurumi is Scheepjes Stonewashed. Sometimes in combination with Scheepjes Softfun. In the Netherlands the prices are better and I try to buy as much as possible in the sale. I love your test ❤❤
Personally I unfortunately disliked Scheepjes Stone Washed. This is probably because of my very dry hands (you can use them as sandpaper, that dry). Love the Catona though.
@@annemiekcortjens2424 I recognize that. Especially in the winter my hands are drier and then the yarn doesn’t feel so nice. Softfun is a good alternative. Despite this disadvantage, Stonewashed remains my favorite 😊
Very comprehensive review. Thank you very much. I tend to think people that keep their own Ami projects when completed get more heavily into what type of yarn they use, and rightly so. Those who make Ami toys for use know they most likely won’t be treated as display toys, so don’t worry about the yarn too much. Personally, I use HL “I Love This Cotton.” It is soft, not hard on the hands, the sts keep their shape and it stuffs easily without distorting or stretching. (All in my opinion) Thank you for introducing new yarn possibilities out there!
I just tried the amigarimi yarn and the yarn art jeans yesterday and wow I can see why you like the jeans yarn it's fabulous!!!!🎉 The amigarimi yarn is very fragile to me, but I still love it too

Hi! Just wanted to share that you inspired me to pick up knitting! Been crocheting for a year or so, and now I'm making my first knitting project, some hand warmers for my aunt. She gets painful white fingers whenever it gets cold, so I'm making them big enough for her to cover her fingers whenever they get cold, but still be able to use her phone and stuff.
Thank you, Elise! For the second time, you have changed my crocheting experience for the better! I just bought myself a Tension ring and it's a game changer and is saving me from a lot of wrist pain.... I can't believe it. THANK YOU!!!!!!
Late to the comment section here, I tried Berocco vintage that I bought at Charlotte Yarn while vising my family and WOW. I absolutely love it, and it makes the amigurumi look so much nicer! Love your videos! I'll definitely check out some of these options as well in the future!
For us in mainland europe the prices are completely different since the skeins from europe cost more in the US and the other way around as well. So I am mostly just watching this to hear what yarns feel best:) I love ricorumi because they have so many different yarns in the same thickness you can mix and match! I love nilinili and spinspin since they are both so unique and they can both be combined with the regular cotton yarn they make!:)
It’s so fun to watch the video and find myself being able to tell what a yarn will feel like/whether it’s splitty, etc. just by looking at it! And then to hear you say the same thing, it totally makes me feel like a yarn professional! Lol
As a German, I was a bit shocked at the price of the Ricorumi skein. At the german Rico Design Website, the same skein costs €1.69. So I think Ricorumi is definitely affordable for Germans.😅
Just wanted to point out that Scheepjes is a Dutch brand, and we don't use the "weight" measurement here in the Netherlands, so that might just be the company's mistake on the Catona yarn haha
@@EliseRoseCrochetAgree we don't use: nr 2,3 etc nor fine, bulky... It's stg we discover on YT. Also we use grams and meters so we don't have a clue when you say yards or Oz. 😉

Thank you for this video. A student of mine recently got me into trying crocheting again and I wasn’t sure where to start. One of the last brands you mentioned was sheepjes. It’s very popular here in Germany and they have over a 100 shades. I appreciate you showing what it looks like when stitched up, so I have a better idea of what the final product will look like.
Thanks for all your yarn reviews, Elise! I also love your pattern and designer reviews. I've been getting the most awesome results for my creations with Scheepjes Stone Washed for several years now. The colors are beautiful and I can make do with the limited variety. It's worth the price. I try other yarns once in a while, but increasing use Scheepjes as my go-to. The fiber content works up beautifully and makes it perfect for both dolls and animals when donating to charity (I give mine to Ronald McDonald House) as there is no problem with allergies that way, and it's surface cleanable. Also, it feels wonderful in my hands and doesn't split! 💕
This is my first year doing amigurumi. I started by stash diving to see if I could even do it. I had a few different cotton yarns in stash, Alize cotton ( it was extremely hard on my hands!) 24/7 cotton by lion brand (I hate working with that yarn too! Extremely harsh on my hands! I used paint box Aran (acrylic yarn) no definition to the stitches, but much easier on my hands. Then I purchased cotana yarn and love using it! Same with the other similar yarn you tested. But my biggest surprise of them all was getting Lion Brand made with love to make the Hippo from Pica pou book 3 and I fell in love!!! It is a cotton blend that has a stretch to it and worked up beautifully! The only problem is that they don't have many colors! I have also used Yarn Art jeans and really loved using that! I guess depending on the pattern and colors I need, I will be choosing yarns.
Hey Elise, Wonderful to see a comparison on amigurumi yarns! I have used Scheepjes catona and stone washed several times, absolutely love the yarn for all the reasons you mention.
I have been crocheting knitted knockers for my local hospital, for women who have had mastectomies. They have a very specific yarn list that must be followed. Almost all the yarn was cotton and quite a bit was mercerized. I was very surprised at some of the choices because they were not soft at all considering the finished product was going against very delicate skin. Certainly not all cotton yarn is made equal! For amigurumi, however, I don’t care as much about being soft, just being workable, doesn’t split is extremely important, and not too soft that I can’t handle it. Thank you so much for this video, Elise! I too love the Yarn Art Jeans yarns because of their color choices and yarn definition is easier to handle for me.
@@EliseRoseCrochet Yes, I even called them and asked if they could possibly tests some other, softer yarn that’s easier to get a hold of. Most of the yarn has to be ordered and shipping has to be paid, unless of course you order a large amount. The lady was very nice and said that their yarn choices go through rigorous tests for comfort. I am using their chosen yarn but I won’t be making as many knitted knockers as I had planned because the yarn is just hard for me to work with. I crochet a lot of amigurumi so I already had many of the yarns you mentioned in your video. But I have to say that Yarn Art Jeans still wins hands down in my book!
The Scheepjes Riverwashed is the exact same yarn as the Stonewashed, so that adds another 22 colors to the line. Ve used it to make 4 afghans and love them.
Thanks for your videos. I’m learning more about yarns and for my creations I tend to use 3-5 weight yarns all depending what I’m making. Sending prayers love and hugs.
As someone who loves Scheepjes Stone Washed, they have two additional lines (River Washed and Mineral Washed) which are the same construction but have different colors. I still love the video!
Thank you for sharing this video is really informative. I am currently in love with hobbii cotton lines. They are soft strong and come in many shades. Also they are almost always on sale and you can add coupons. I have to mention their friends cotton as you can get the exact same color in different weights. Also to be mentioned free shipping threshold is $19 and is faster than some big buck stores in US.
My favorite yarn is drops baby Merino. I order from wool warehouse in the UK they charge me about seven dollars for shipping a bag about the size of a pillowcase full of yarn. It’s on sale so I’m contemplating buying some more. Not that I need it 😂 I live Eastern North Carolina so I don’t have a lot of access to high-end yarn unless I order it. The thing I really like about the drops baby merino is it is beautifully soft and has an elasticity to the fiber which doesn’t cause me hand and arm pain. I also like cascade Heritage yarn. It is beautifully soft as well, and I can find it about an hour away. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
I use mostly Catona and Catania (which are interchangeable, they're so similar). The other yarns I love using are Durable Coral, Durable Cosy Fine and Rio Lammy. I actually love the feel of mercerized cotton, though. And I love the stitch definition. I definitely use Catania and Catona with anything from a 1.75 mm to a 3.00 mm hook, depending on what I'm making. Many amigurumi makers recommend a 2.00 or 2.50 for these cottons. I also love Stonewashed and Riverwashed, which are actually the same in terms of the blend, but the colours are put together slightly differently. There's a Stonewashed Minerals series as well, which is very pretty. I think Stonewashed comes in 36 colours, Riverwashed has 22. Minerals only comes in 10 colour combinations - but all of them can be combined, because the only difference is in the colour of the core threads used. I have to add that I'm in The Netherlands, so the pricing is probably different for me.
Circulo is by far my favorite brand in Brazil, I dont make amigurumi but im using this yarn for a granny squares blanket, it is one of the cheapest yarn from the brand and the color palette is amazing
I love the scheepjes stone washed and river washed for amigurmi. In the netherlands there is another brand Yarn and colors that sells similar yarn so that adds more colors. It's 4.5 euro so more affordable. There are also great dupes on the market. The effect of the cotton core with the fluff makes for the most beautiful projects.
I have this yarn called Columbia Minerva Cottrene, I bought years ago at a thrift store. It is 54% Solara Acrylic 45% Cotton and 1% Polyester, machine washable AND dryable! And made in Bessemer City, NC. It almost feels like a soft spandex. Never seen it anywhere else; so glad I got this when I did and I have about 8 skeins of it so I’m trying to make some fingerless gloves and maybe a hat for my adult daughters. Love your channel and advice. From another North Carolinian.❤
I'll admit I haven't tried many yarns for amigurumi- being in Canada makes many options way too expensive- but my favourite is Estelle Sudz. 44 solid colours, 19 tonals, and 21 sprays. They're oh so vibrant, the sprays are fun for more whimsical/less realistic plushies or accents on more realistic ones, and I love the texture. Much softer than the Loops & Threads cotton I tried before which means no more icky feeling when working with it 😅each small skein is about $3 for me- larger are available though- and I can easily make a smaller plushie with one skein. Often closer to 1.5 plushies. A bit more expensive than L&T but worth it IMO.
I learned how to crochet with a Rico kit so I really love the ricorumi yarn! I also think it would be interested to see you testing the ricorumi kits, because I think they're the reason I fell in love with crochet! So much better than the other kit I tried (which was by hooked)
Thanks Elise, this was really helpful. I love Catona and have used it loads. My other go-to for amigurumi is King Cole Cottonsoft. It has loads of colours and while being 100% cotton is beautifully soft and would challenge Jeans for softness. I adore using it!
In germany schachenmayr and rumico for amigurumi are mostly Standard in quiete a few stores. Regarding the softness of schachenmayr: it geting better over time and with a few washings. Saw it quite a few times when i made fruits and vegies for the playstores of the kids from friends. 😊
Thanks for this video! I was wondering about the Krea Deluxe for the same reason 😂 I’m also sticking with Yarn Art Jeans that has the added bonus of being easier on my hands! Have a great day!
I love yarnart jeans & use it exclusively when I make dolls. I recently used YarnArt jeans plus to make a coatigan. It is the number 4 weight version & it is just as good. Love it👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧
Good video today Elise! I have lots of the scheepies Catina that I bought from Lovecraft and use it mainly for the little knitted pocket buddies. I’m going to try the yarn arts jeans because I’ve seen other pattern makers use it a lot , as well as you, my primary favorite source of information ☺️👍🏼🧡
I just made a little bear with the stone washed scheepies! I loved working with it but the yarn did bead up a little after some wear and tear. I still love it though!!
I love how you broke it down so that if a person didn't care as much about number of colours, they knew why you scored it higher or lower. My favourite yarns for amis are acrylics-Premier anti-pilling/Willow wash (same yarn, two different labels) and Brava worsted.
I just discovered the Scheepjes yarn when making a pattern designed by Sara Dee. I searched online for the best price. I ordered from Linde Hobby. They have a 58 pack of 10 gram skeins of the stone washed and river washed and they are beautiful! They also gave me a discount for ordering in bulk! It was sent from Denmark and took about 10 days to get to Indiana and shipping was only $5. Totally worth it!!!
Thank you Elise. I’m a beginner and surprised that you featured the yarn I’m using which is Schachenmayr-Catania. Thank you so much for creating video like this. Very useful and informative content. Watching from Germany 🇩🇪
One of my absolut favourit yarns are Softfun from Scheepjes. I think it is very similar to Yarnart jeans. It has over 90 colors and is a blend with 60 % cotton and 40% acrylic.
What a fun surprise to see Scheepjes yarn reviewed! I recently went to Greece on vacation and visited a local yarn shop where I bought a skein of Scheepjes in the color Moon Stone. It was a new brand to me. I am halfway done with a bunny amugurumi and I love the yarn! It was only about $2.50 in Greece. I hope I can find it cheaper here than you found it because I would like to make some more projects with it.
I really enjoy and appreciate your yarn reviews. Your grading system is fair. I seldom do amigurmi (sp) or use #1 & #2 weight yarns. But i LOVE cotton and cotton blend yarns. One i discovered in Spring 2024 is Willow yarns Meadow. I get it through Herrschner's. Another is Herrschner's Cottage Cotton. I use a wide variety of others but LOVE the two i mentioned. Thank you Elise! You "make" my Saturday mornings, lol!
My favorite is Catona and I'm glad it got a great score. I always find it on sale which would raise the score it received :) This was an impressive number of different yarns! I'm glad you're back ♥
My favourite amigurumi yarn is the ricorumi 😊 it is indeed quite pricy even here in the UK. It used to cost £1 a ball a couple of years ago, and with all the price increases is now 1.79£ which I think being too much for a tiny ball of yarn. However, because of how many colours I already have from them and how my amigurumi looks I'm not sure I'm ready to swap as yet. Tempted to try scheepes tho. Thank you for the amazing video!
About mercerised cotton. I'm experimenting by using some for a wearable. I'm not sure I love it. I think i like a matte finish. I also like the bit of stretch that you get with acrylic/cotton blends that are roughly 50%/50%
Hi Elise! I really really enjoyed this video. Your insights after working with each yarn were very helpful! I'd love to see a video which highlights all of the various YarnArt Jeans varieties (standard, Plus, Bamboo, Crazy, etc) along with suggestions on their various uses. Also, a more recent guide to varous online sources for yarns. You used a number of different sites in this video. Many of my go-to shops have either closed or no longer have the variety they once did. Thanks for all you do!!
As an Aussie Amigurumi maker, I wish we had access to as many yarns as the USA. Yes we can ship them in but exchange rates, shipping and customs does add up. I have managed to find a few Aussies yarns that I love. Fiddlesticks brand has a great range of yarns in all fibres and weights. My favourite is Superb 8 (100% Acrylic) as I donate most of my toys. Comes in over 80 colours. Hope I can find Yarnart Jeans here one day, would like to try that.❤
Elise, I shivered when I realized this was all about Cotton yarn...I hope your hands were ok. I sympathize with having hand pain when working tiny stitches into amigurumi using cotton. Also, you have used Happy Place, cotton wool, yes? I need something similar due to Hobbii being out of the ivory color...any suggestions? Off to put some Jeans yarn in my cart....thanks for a great review.
I can use cotton in small amounts! And I love Happy Place! I don't know of a good substitute! There's a website that shows yarn substitutes (can't remember the name) but it might be a good place to start! 🧸❤️🤓🧶
I always wanted to try Yarn Art Jeans when I first started amigurumi but couldn’t find it here in the UK so used Drops Safran. That is perfectly nice and I got along with it just fine. Then I found an amazing online shop here that has Yarn Art Jeans so I gave it a try. And wow I fell in love with it and it’s now my absolute favourite and I don’t think I would change.
I love schachenmayr ❤ i am using only cotton for my amigurumis❤ my favorite brands are schachenmayr, Gründl, GB and some other brands that are selling mercerized cotton 😊
Your videos are so helpful, that I always look forward to them. Thanks for always giving us helpful advice, tips, and info. You are simply the best ☺️!
I love Catania and Catona for stitch definition, someone said they came from the same factory but made for different companies. I would love it you could review the Paintbox dk/aran yarns. Thank you!
I've actually talked a lot about them since I used to use it a lot! They are fantastic yarns! The only one I don't really love for ami is their acrylic version Paintbox Simply DK. 🧶🧶🧶
If you love Yarn Art Jeans then you need to try "My Ami" by Herrschers. I am IN LOVE with that yarn. I am still hoping they add more colors in the future but it is about a year old yarn so there is time!

I'm using drops muskat (I think they want us to think of wine grapes rather than rodents but I'm not sure they've succeeded!) for some Christmas decs and it does split. I like the sheen though.
Thank-you Elise great review of yarns. I still have not selected a favorite yarn, it’s only been a year since I started amigurumi, and have tested 3 other yarns-not favorites.

My personal favorite is big twist unpopular opinion, but it’s a great price and I like the feel
I think the most important thing is to find the best yarn for you! If you love it, who cares what others think! ❤️🧶🧸🤓
Thanks for your videos. I’m learning more about yarns and for my creations I tend to use 3-5 weight yarns all depending what I’m making. Sending prayers love and hugs.
You're welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Yes! I love the Hobbii cotton yarn! I did a review video a few months ago! 🧶❤️🤓🧸
Thanks for sharing your favorite yarns! I’ll have to check those out. ❤️🧶🧸
I absolutely love the Stone Washed yarns and am going to look at the River Washed colors! Thank you! 🧶❤️🤓🧸
That’s so cool! I love that you found something unique and special! ❤️
I always learn stuff from your videos, Elise. Thanks for another great one!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
I don't stitch the tiny stuff, but I have seen many of these yarns. This was a very nice review.
I'm glad it was helpful! 🧶❤️🤓🧸
I learned how to crochet with a Rico kit so I really love the ricorumi yarn! I also think it would be interested to see you testing the ricorumi kits, because I think they're the reason I fell in love with crochet! So much better than the other kit I tried (which was by hooked)
Thank you for sharing! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Thanks Elise, this was really helpful. I love Catona and have used it loads. My other go-to for amigurumi is King Cole Cottonsoft. It has loads of colours and while being 100% cotton is beautifully soft and would challenge Jeans for softness. I adore using it!
Oooh! Thank you for sharing! I'll have to check that one out! ❤️🧶🧸
In germany schachenmayr and rumico for amigurumi are mostly Standard in quiete a few stores.
Regarding the softness of schachenmayr: it geting better over time and with a few washings. Saw it quite a few times when i made fruits and vegies for the playstores of the kids from friends. 😊
Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️🧶🧸🤓
Thanks for this video! I was wondering about the Krea Deluxe for the same reason 😂 I’m also sticking with Yarn Art Jeans that has the added bonus of being easier on my hands! Have a great day!
Krea Deluxe is a gorgeous yarn!!! It's much thinner than I was hoping it would be, but the colors are out of this world! 🧶🧶
I love yarnart jeans & use it exclusively when I make dolls. I recently used YarnArt jeans plus to make a coatigan. It is the number 4 weight version & it is just as good. Love it👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧
Ooooh! I can't wait to try the Plus version!!! 🧶🤓🧸❤️
Oh how sweet! ❤️ I haven't found a yarn yet that I like more for crochet amigurumi. It's so versatile, soft and comes in soooo many colors! 🧶🧸🤓
@ I’ll have to try it ☺️👍🏼
I just made a little bear with the stone washed scheepies! I loved working with it but the yarn did bead up a little after some wear and tear. I still love it though!!
Thanks so much for sharing! It's a lovely yarn! 🧶🧸❤️
I really missed you this past week. I hope everything is okay. I love watching your content and you are so nice without being prissy.
Thanks for your kind words! 🥰 my mom was under the weather and needed my help so I had to take the week off! 🧶🧸❤️
I have never made an amigurami in my life but I really enjoy your channel.
Thank you so much! 🤓🧸❤️🧶
I love how you broke it down so that if a person didn't care as much about number of colours, they knew why you scored it higher or lower.
My favourite yarns for amis are acrylics-Premier anti-pilling/Willow wash (same yarn, two different labels) and Brava worsted.
Those are great yarns! Thanks for sharing! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Hello lovely Elise😊, fantastic well researched and grading of all the cotton yarns. Ta heaps.🧶 Love and prayers.💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏
You are very welcome! Happy crocheting! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Wow!! Thank you for sharing!! I absolutely love her designs!! 🧶❤️🤓🧸
Hi Elise. I too use and love Yarn Art Jeans. I've been using it for a couple of years and always seem to order it for any new Amigurumi projects.
Love the easy start. I am going to put a sticker on my yarn when I use my yarn winder. Thanks for the idea.
Oooh! I need to check that one out! 🧸🤓❤️🧶
A yarn that I love for Amigurumi is Big Twist. its comes in a range of sizes and is very cheap.
Thank you for sharing! I'm always looking for new yarns to try. ❤️🧶🧸
My favorite is Catona and I'm glad it got a great score. I always find it on sale which would raise the score it received :)
This was an impressive number of different yarns! I'm glad you're back ♥
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! It was a fun one to do! 🧶🤓❤️🧸
I love your grading system!! Thank you!!
You're welcome! It's a fun way to compare yarns. 🧶❤️🧸🤓
I really like Paintbox yarn. You can get it in both cotton and acrylic and it's a bit thicker. The colours are super bright though.
Scheepjes have a ton of colours that you missed, river wash and stone wash are the same weight, and the price is excellent in the UK
About mercerised cotton. I'm experimenting by using some for a wearable. I'm not sure I love it. I think i like a matte finish. I also like the bit of stretch that you get with acrylic/cotton blends that are roughly 50%/50%
That's exactly how I feel too! It's so good to experiment to figure out what works best for you! 🧶🧸🤓❤️
I LOVE making amigurumi, but cotton yarn is expensive. I always use acrylic and my favorite brand to buy is Joanns big twist. Great Video 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I’m really enjoying Lily Sugar and Cream cotton yarn for both amigurumi and other cotton projects.
I'm glad you're finding a yarn you love! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Thanks for another great yarn exploration! Really appreciate your reviews.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
I've been waiting for this kind of video for a long time! Thanks a lot !
You're welcome! I'm so glad you found it helpful! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
I always use Aran yarn for amigurumi. Love your videos❤
Thanks for sharing! ❤️🧶😊
It really is such a fantastic yarn! I have to order online here in the US, but I haven't found anything I like better yet! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
YarnArt Jeans is my favorite for amigurumi. It has a slight stretch to it, due to the acrylic, and doesn’t hurt my fingers like 100% cotton does. 😊
Yes! That's one of my favorite features! ❤️🧶🤓🧸
I love schachenmayr ❤ i am using only cotton for my amigurumis❤ my favorite brands are schachenmayr, Gründl, GB and some other brands that are selling mercerized cotton 😊
I love Hobbii Friends Cotton or Rainbow Cotton. I think they would get A's across the board.
Yes!!! Fantastic yarns! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
That last one you reviewed I use for flowers
I only use yarnart jeans and premier parfait chunky for amigurumi!
Those are both great choices! 🧶❤️😊
Your videos are so helpful, that I always look forward to them. Thanks for always giving us helpful advice, tips, and info. You are simply the best ☺️!
Thank you! I’m so glad they’re helpful. 🧶🧸🤓
@@EliseRoseCrochet Also, I love your crochet toys. They are so darling and so fun to look at when you are doing your videos. ☺️
Scheepjes also has riverwashed. Same yarn as stonewashed, different colors.
Oooh! Thank you for sharing! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Elise this is my favorite out of all your videos
Aww! Thank you so much! ❤️🧶🤓🧸
If you want to try more Drops, I'd try Saffron for amigurumi (it's a matt cotton). I also find Muskat "annoying" to crochet with due to the splitting.
Oooh! Thanks for the suggestion! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
This is fabulous information, Elise! Thank you so much! 🧡
You are very welcome! ❤️🧶🧸
Jimmy Beans Wool is my local yarn shop and they recommended the Sheepjes for me as well
That's amazing! Thanks for sharing! ❤️🧶🤓🧸
Totally enjoyed this comparison and grading of these yarns!!! Thank you!!!
I don't like their acrylic yarn either🙊. I mean their cotton dk and cotton aran.
I did the Sophia's Universe afghan in the Scheepjes and I loved the feel of it.
Oooh! I bet it's gorgeous! 🧶❤️🤓🧸
If you love Yarn Art Jeans then you need to try "My Ami" by Herrschers. I am IN LOVE with that yarn. I am still hoping they add more colors in the future but it is about a year old yarn so there is time!
Oooh! Thanks for sharing!! ❤️🧶🧸
Hi Elise and right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares blanket and butterfly mosaic blanket and granny squares for billie for boggy creek and a boggy creek blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your TH-cam channel and keep up the great work on your crochet projects
Your projects all sound so cozy! I'm working on a secret amigurumi project and I can't wait to share about it!!😄🧶
I love using Circulo's Amigurumi Soft, I'm pretty sure you'd love it too
thank you for the review 🙏🩷
I'm using drops muskat (I think they want us to think of wine grapes rather than rodents but I'm not sure they've succeeded!) for some Christmas decs and it does split. I like the sheen though.
I'm so glad it's working well for you! 🧶❤️🤓🧸
I really like your videos! 😊
I'm so glad! ☺️
Circulo has an acrilic and cotton blend that is my personal favorite for amigurumi
Oooh! I need to check that one out! 🧶❤️🧸🤓
Scheepjes almost always has easy start. One of the reasons i love this brand
Thank-you Elise great review of yarns. I still have not selected a favorite yarn, it’s only been a year since I started amigurumi, and have tested 3 other yarns-not favorites.
It’s so fun to find new favorite yarns! I’m always on the hunt! 🧶🤓🧸❤️
Love the comparisons. Great video !
I'm so happy you liked it! ❤️🧶🧸
Omg I’m second! I love your videos!!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! 😊
