I love love love Hobbiis cotton yarns. I use them all the time for amigurumi. There is a trick for the center pull: Stick your index fingers into each side until they touch. Then twirl your fingers around each other. Clockwise and counter clockwise. Until you only feel a couple of yarn strands between them. Then you can reach into one end and pull on those specific strands. You should be able to get only a teeny tiny bit of yarn barf which can be crocheted away very quickly. I use that trick all the time for all kinds of yarn and it rarely fails me.
I like Hobbii a lot... luckily in Germany, I have 2 shops pretty nearby, so I can have a look and touch them... this calms down my jealousy about your yarnshops in the US a bit...😅 I have a lot of those 8/4 skeins... I learned a few weeks ago, I can double those up, if a pattern calls for a thicker yarn, which blows up the opportunities to bust my yarnstash...😊
A lot of Hobbii patterns call for 8/4s held double which will give you a 8/8. With 100 colors, you have 10000 combinations of "custom 8/8s" Or you could make a bulky with 2 8/4s and a 8/6. Rainbow 8/8 or 8/4 are my go-tos. Hobbii cotton has kinda ruined me for Michael's Loops and Threads Cotton. Feels so scratchy now.
If you were attempting to persuade me to finally get some Hobbii yarns then you well succeeded! Now I am going to have to save my pennies and spend the $99 to get free shipping. Another helpful video! TY
Having to pull the ball apart to find the center is a pet peeve for me too. All yarns should come with an easy start tab. I love your phrase "yarn barf". I'll have to remember that one!
At a sale this year I snagged four entire cones (1700m each) of the Rainbow 8/4 for absolutely silly money. I knit myself a pair of shorts and I have a matching crop top in progress, both made with less than one cone. The cotton is super pleasant to work with and having just one thread with zero yarn joining and not even one knot within the cone was LUXURIOUS.
I absolutely love the Hobbii Sultan Deluxe yarn cakes. Beautiful long colour changes, 100% cotton and very soft! Some even have glitter! I do recommend starting from the outside though, because I sometimes find that there is some yarn barf and that the cake can collapse when you're near the end and then it can really get tangled.
I love your channel. It's so different from most of the other crochet channels. I love your enthusiasm and your tips and reviews. So helpful--and entertaining!
I just ordered and tried some of their Honey Bunny yarn! It's genuinely really good and so incredible soft. I find that bad chenille yarns tend to hate magic circles and just refuse to work, but this one works so nice and the yarn is just the softest thing ever. Im always skeptical of places I mainly see as advertisments on insta, but this is such a great place for yarn and easily accessible across the world too!
I love this kind of video! I love Hobbii patterns for all kinds of projects, and basically I only use their cotton, all the yarns are great, but the cotton is perfect.

I'm currently making crochet cardigans with the We Love Yarn Megaballs... SUCH a great value??? I love that instead of having to buy 15+ skeins for a 2XL patchwork cardigan, I can get 5 skeins of some big heccin balls of yarn and have leftover yarn for other projects??? Amazing.
Hi Elise! Thank you for reviewing these. I love Hobbii Cosy and have been thinking about ordering some different yarns from Hobbii but wasn’t sure where to start. As always, amazing video. 🤗🧶
Hi Elise. My name is Clarisse and I crochet from northeastern Brazil. I would love for you to subtitle your videos in Portuguese. Even though I barely understand your language, I wanted to understand it better 💕
I'm loving all of your content as I'm getting into Amigurumi and I like to do deep dives into my latest obsessions before starting. Your reviews are so detailed and informative and I really appreciate it!
Elise, I love, love, love that easy start tab! Why wouldn't a yarn company have that, right? It really does make a difference in starting a project. I can't tell you how many times I've had to fight a battle with my yarn because of not finding the pull start. Who wants to get frustrated at the start of a project? Enjoyed your video, thanks. :)
Hello from a Danish knitter and chrocheter 😊 I enjoy your videos a lot, very inspirational and relatable. 💜 I have heard several US yarn channels pronounce Hobbii with an o sound - here in Denmark we just pronounce it like "Hobby" 🧶
Hobbii had a video on their social media with all the different ways their employees pronounce the company name, and some of them pronounced it the way Elise does, so you can hardly blame us for being confused 😂
I don't buy from Hobbii but if I were to, your demonstration of their cotton yarns would seal the deal! It's difficult to find a nice cotton yarn! So thank you very much Elise for this deep dive. I always look forward to your content!
Elise, you are just one of the best valued contributors to our Crochet Community! Thanks so very much for your time, contributions and shared love of crochet. Hugsss❤️
Love it! I've heard a lot about Hobbii yarn and nice to see the reviews of the different kinds and explanations of what they are! The Universe yarn does look beautiful
I LOVE Hobbii yarns! They have wonderful sales, which is when I stock up. I don't use a lot of the cottons, but am happy to learn you like them so well. I was hoping that some of the other yarns I've purchased would have been in their top 10, such as the cakes I've purchased, along with their Fantasy acrylic - scrumptious yarns!
Regarding cotton 8/8. I just made a bedspread in it. It splits a bit, especially if crochet tightly. But is by far the best cotton I have tried . Remember that it quickly becomes heavy as a blanket.
This was fun to see! I have a bunch of the Hobbii Friends 8/4 cotton that I got a couple of years ago to make Christmas ornaments. The color selection is so fun to peruse. Last summer I used it to make the Mario characters for my grandson, and a friend commissioned starfish that I made with it. The stitch definition is so good. I love it. That center pull tag is like a little gift. It’s the little things. I just re-watched one of your other yarn reviews yesterday and I happen to have a big stash of Stylecraft Special DK that I used of make a flower granny square blanket for a gift. Glad you like that one too.. Aren’t we lucky to be able to order yarn from almost everywhere in the world! Thanks, Elise! ❤🧶
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Friends cotton yarn!! They are gorgeous!! And we are so blessed to be able to buy so many different yarns! 🧶🧶🧶
I actually used the Rainbow Cotton 8/4 Deluxe to make a puppy mobile for a coworker when she had her baby. I have a lot of trouble finding cottons of different weights where I live, so I love that they have so many weight options so I can make lacy summery items out of a breathable, machine washable material. I'm currently using a cake of their Sultan Deluxe (a superfine, self ombre-ing yarn that changes the color one strand at a time to make one of the smoothest ombre transitions you've ever seen) to make a baby blanket (using a pattern developed to use exactly 1 cake of this specific yarn). I've done this blanket and yarn combo before using the sister line Sultan Deluxe Shine and it was GORGEOUS. It's a little pricey at $36-$41 per cake, but if you wishlist it and wait for it to go on sale, you can sometimes get it 50% off.
I have had no bad yarns from HOBBII but colors can sometimes be hard to reprder from the specialty brands on it. Their cotton yarns are wonderful and the single mercerized cottons are beautiful!! The universe yarn also makes beutiful virus style shawls with growing repeat rows.
Out of all of these, which one would you say is the “least splitty” and okay to use for Amigurumi? My pet peeve is yarn splitting, like yours is the center pull barf lol. I use YarnArt Jeans and have not found a suitable contender, so I am so happy to see you doing all of these reviews! ❤
My favorit is Twister 55% cotton and 45%acrylic 😍 al the colorshifts ❣️ I ❤️ the solid color also and my hand like it better then 100 % cotton 😀 Thank you for a ❤️ video❣️
I don't have a peeve for the yarn barf, but a big peeve of mine is doing bad yarn math and having to make another tript to the store because I didn't have enough of one color (or stressing all project long that I may). The fact that the website shows which materials are needed for a project is really neat. I'd shop at hobbi for that alone
Great review!! Hobbi is my go-to place for everything yarny. They have every type of yarn I need, whether it is Universe for shawls, Amigo XL for blankets, Rainbow 8/6 or 8/8 for amigurumi dolls, Honey Bunny and Baby Snuggle for amigurumi animals, Ribbon and Bungee for baskets and bags. Love how their patterns tell you exactly how much to buy, and they have deals all the time. Many deals and points are given during their Monday Bingo, Tuesday FB educational Lives, and Thursday FB Quiz shows.❤❤❤❤
I love watching your TH-cam video all the way from South Africa. 🇿🇦. I would like see if you could test the top ten yarns that we have in South Africa.
Totally agree about yarn barf! This was great as it introduced me to yarns that I probably wouldn’t have considered before. Thanks Elise for taking one for the team (i.e. good excuse to buy more yarn)!
Oh, my goodness! Elise, I do believe I am officially going to try my hand at making amigurumi. Those patterns you shared along with your enthusiasm are just wonderful. I’ll be going on Hobbi, thanks to the education from your channel I can make a well informed purchase with a plan to make these adorable amigurumi. Many thanks.
Great information on the cotton yarns. I received several in a mystery bag awhile back and didn’t understand. I’m tempted to try them for sock heels and toes. Especially the fingering weight. I love their Jarbo Cookie yarns. Very similar to RH Melange. I’ve made several shawls from it.
I think I went to Hobbi to get TL Yarn Craft’s yarn. It was just 2 days from the date it was being sold, and they were out of stock…😢 For about a week I kept trying to buy Toni’s yarn, was not restocked at all. Thanks again for your informational videos!! Take care and have a great summer!!❤
I just love Hobbii in general, it's such a great site! I got the Universe yarn in a mystery bag and I have't done much with it except a tiny dress for a Calico Critter, but I agree, it's beautiful. Thank you for another informative video💖
I’m watching your Hobii show wanted to tell you I bought some Christmas yarn from Herrschners and they have easy start! I’m making hexagon granny square sweaters for Christmas for my daughters and me. I’m a procrastinator so maybe they’ll be ready in time.
I love Hobbi yarns. My favorite is the Cookie. It makes such soft items. If you watch you can get it on sale, and buying in bulk will also get a discount.
I love both 8/4 cottons, Rainbow and Friends, for amigurumi; I usually crochet smaller critters, and I love the bright colors in both lines. I am currently knitting my 2024 Temp blanket using Hobbii's Kind Feather. It is a DK weight yarn made with premium soft acrylic, and it is very soft.
Having had a massive amount of yarn barf today, a clear center pull is so helpful. I spent SO MUCH time untangling and rewrapping that yarn barf. It was so frustrating. One thing I can say about Red Heart acrylic is that they have the center pull out and ready.
I made the dragon scale last year, with another yarn, it's one of my favourite shawls, and it has saved me from the dampness and coldness of the evening several times already!
That universe yarn is so gorgeous. I was eyeing it in the background the whole video thinking "she said it was soft for acrylic but is it really? It's just such a pretty color..." and then you ranked it so well I'm gonna have to get some.
I‘m working on a shawl with this yarn right now. I find it beautiful to work with and have no issues at all. Although when I hold it to my neck I‘m not sure if it might be a little scratchy when wearing it due to the glitter thread. I hope not because that’ll be a lot of work in vain if so 😅 I’ll have to wait until I’m done to really test it. The neck is just sensitive. So far I love the yarn!
Thank you for doing a video on this website, you just helped me find the perfect site for getting crochet thread/lace weight yarn in bulk for my projects!
Loved this video🤩 Living in Norway Hobbii has really reasonable shipping costs, and a great selection of yarn🥰 Can I ask you which crochet hook you were using in this video?
Love your videos!!! Very bubbly, smiley, and positive attitude. I have a question for you. Just out of curiosity. . . Why is the grams to a ball/skein of yarn never mentioned for people who only know that measurement? Just easier to understand how much a ball/skein costs, or how much a person who need to do a project. That's all :) Thanks in advance. Keep up the great videos!!! :D
I just found Hobbii as I was looking for a nice cotton for chemo caps for my stepmom who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It sounds like it's going to be a good choice. Obviously, an acrylic or cotton acrylic blend might have more stretch, but I find acrylic to be itchy, and I wouldn't want it on my scalp!
I’m waiting for a Hobbii order (Rainbow Deluxe 8/4, friends cotton 8/4 and Sultan) to be delivered and really glad to hear that I will not be disappointed. It’s hard to find fingering/sport cotton yarn that patterns specify, and Hobbii seemed to have the best selection. Will report back when I receive the order.
I love your reviews and I love Hobbii - they’re such a great company. And I’m with you - completely #obsessed with the center-pull! One question: (and possibly an idea for a future video) what’s your favorite chenille yarn? I’m having a hard time finding one that works for me. I really like Big Twist Posh, but the color selection is… limited.
Dear Elise, Thank you for sharing Hobbii yarn 🧶 I hope one day I can try them, I’ll add them to my list to try. Your videos are always informative, greatly appreciated. Take care and God’s blessings to you and your family 🙏🏽💜🧶😻🐶🩷
Thank you for making this video! I had never heard of this shop before and now I have some new yarns to add to my try list, and also got to download some new patterns to try!
I watched your video today and was so excited to get the recommended yarn from Hobbii to start a pattern that I had purchased from CAROcreated design, doll Mia. Unfortunately most of the colors I needed from Hobbii were out of stock...white, nude and a dozen other colors. Oh well hopefully they'll have them back in stock soon. Love your videos you're such an inspiration!! Thank you!
I love this video, i have often wondered about the yarns on their site, so this is so helpful!! Also, I was wondering what hooks are you using in this video? Im looking for a new set for my mother.
I have some baby blankets to make and I really appreciate your thoughts. I also love the patterns that you feature. I agree that patterns in Hobbii are great with the product list right there. Thank you for another excellent video. I always look forward to Saturdays and seeing what you have for us! ❤🧶😊🧶❤️
Love your channel and all your great tips and tricks. Question I'm hoping you might be able to help with. I have been using Paintbox Cotton DK for a project, but they have been out of stock of one of the colors I need for it for weeks and I'm hoping one of the Hobbii Rainbow Cotton yarns might be a good swap I can use. If you had to pick one of them - the 8/8 the 8/6 or the 8/4 deluxe as closest to the gauge of Paintbox Cotton DK which would you choose? TYIA!
I've been curious about the Hobbii yarns. I've just been hesitant because it's shipping from so far away. Granted, I don't need yarn rn but I'm thankful for this video. Especially on the cotton yarns with the explanation of the number system. I'm curious now if they have cotton blends cause those are easier for me to work with as my hands have a hard time with 100% cotton. Thank you Elise! ❤
Funny, I stumble on your vidéo while I am working a project with Hobbii Rainbow 8/6 cotton ! You are right about the beautiful stitch définition ! I just wish the yarn was a little more slippery on my needle, but it's a great affordable cotton 😊
I love Hobbii yarns. And the company is so easy to work with. I received an order that had the Universe Yarns in it and 1 out of the 4 of a particular color was very totally off. Same dye lot, but 1 of the colors was just missing. I did send a picture. They not only replaced the 1 that was wrong, but all 4 so that I did have the same dye lot again. That is customer service. I have not used any of the smaller skeins, but am also partial to the Sultan yarns. I do like working with thin yarns and their colors are beautiful!
GREETINGS MS. ELISE...I REALLY ENJOYED YOUR REVIEW OF HOBBII TOP TEN YARN PICKS & I DO HAVE THE HOBBII RAINBOW COTTON YARN 8/4 & THEY'RE PRETTY GOOD. BUT I ALSO PREFER THE HOBBII RIBBON YARN THATS MADE OF 100% COTTON & ITS BEAUTIFUL FOR MAKING BASKETS & BAGS AS WELL . THANKS FOR THE REVIEW & DON'T FORGET MS. TONI LIPSEY YARN CALLED HAPPY PLACE!!! HAPPY CROCHETING 🧶🎉🧶🎉🧶🎉🧶🎉🧶🎉🧶🎉🧶🎉
I love Hobbii yarn! As I watch this video, I’m literally making keychains with the Rainbow 8/4 cotton. I have a large vacuum bag full of this yarn, so this is a way to use up some of it.
Yarns sold in UK often don’t have easy start tabs and you get yarn barfs a lot. Love the Hobbi site and use it when my local yarn shop (independent one) doesn’t have what I want. Hobbi also have lots of accessories on sale. It’s always fast delivery from Denmark to UK.
This was an awesome video! Very informative! I’ve been wanting to find some nicer cotton yarns for summer projects but I don’t have many options in my area. Hobbii is a great idea and now I actually know what yarns to start with. Thank you 🖤
Great review! I love the hobbi cottons. I've made the Miv and Sara dolls. Easy patterns that just turned out beautifully. Can't wait to make Boris the bee!
I❤❤❤❤❤❤ Hobbii. 75% of my stash is Hobbii yarn. I have a variety of their different lines. The only yarn I have gifted after buying, if the hunny bunny candy yarn. It sheds really bad. But they have so many ways to get yarn free or discount. Free bingo, live event, live quiz event. They keep you engaged with their community
Thank you for this great review. I have already worked with several Hobbii yarns and am currently finishing the Outlandish Caplet with Amigo XL and Universe XL. I agree that Universe has beautiful colors but the polyester glitter thread has been a pain to work with (at least for tunisian crochet in the round). I had a few instances where the glitter thread had ripped and also parts were it was very densely wound around the main tread while in other parts it was very loosely wound and it almost ran just parellel to the main strand. I've used all three weights of the Rainbow Cotton (8/4, 8/6 and 8/8) and loved them all. They are durable, feel nice and have a huge color palette to choose from which is great for amigurumis. I really like the Amigo yarns for blankets but my absolute favorite yarns to work with are Happy Place (Merino/Cotton blend) for warm and cosy wearables and Horizon (100% Acrylic and really nice to the touch) for baby blankets.
When did you get your Dots crochet hooks? I've recently ordered some to give them a try and then I saw your video. I can't remember if I've seen you use them before. Great video by the way. I'm really enjoying your yarn comparison videos 😊
Wow, thank you so much for these videos and recommendations. I'll definitely be using them. I h I want to add that I recently discovered "I love this yarn" from HL, and I love it. I'll recommend it instead of Red Heart, 100% acrylic, 7oz, 355yds, very soft, only $4.99 per skein (the last 2 times I've been to the store there was a 30% discount on all colors), and comes in many, many colors. Excellent for blankets.

Hello from a Danish knitter and chrocheter 😊 I enjoy your videos a lot, very inspirational and relatable. 💜 I have heard several US yarn channels pronounce Hobbii with an o sound - here in Denmark we just pronounce it like "Hobby" 🧶
Oh interesting!! I've always heard Americans pronounce it with a long "o"! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm so glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
It is spectacular! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🧶🧶🧶
I really ❤ your videos. And, I like that you drop them once a week on Saturday mornings 😘
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing! I was so impressed with Hobbii yarns! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for a very informative review Elise! I know you know your yarn and I 100% value your opinion. Keep it up Yarn Queen 👑😘
Haha! Thank you, Dawn!! I was so impressed with Hobbii's yarns!!! 🧶🧶
I think the Rainbow Cottons are very non-splitty. Really beautiful cottons! 🧶🧶🧶
My favorit is Twister 55% cotton and 45%acrylic 😍 al the colorshifts ❣️ I ❤️ the solid color also and my hand like it better then 100 % cotton 😀 Thank you for a ❤️ video❣️
Oooh! Thank you for sharing!! I'll have to check it out! 🧶🧶🧶
Yes this is what I was going to say! For clothing it’s really great and light
I haven’t tried all the Hobbii yarns you featured, but my favorite is the Rainbow 8/8. It does look so pretty worked up, and it feels so soft.
It really is an incredible yarn!!! I was so impressed! 🧶🧶🧶
Many deals and points are given during their Monday Bingo, Tuesday FB educational Lives, and Thursday FB Quiz shows.❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing! I was super impressed with their yarns! 🧶🧶🧶
I LOVE the Universe yarn! I made a beaded shawl with it and everyone always asks where I got it. It's a beautiful yarn!
It sounds incredible!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Once I read the description of the 8/4, 8/6 & 8/8 labeling it made total sense! 🧶🧶🧶
I believe the Happy Place yarn is back in stock! 🧶🧶🧶
Yeah… I love hobbii but when they’re sold out of something it often takes quite a while until it’s restocked. At least that’s what I experienced.
Thank you for this video!! I’ve been contemplating ordering from Hobbi but now I have to! 😍 they all worked up so nicely!!
They are amazing yarns! I was very impressed! 🧶🧶🧶
I recently found the Rainbow Cotton 8/4 and I love it! And the easy start tab is the most fabulous idea❤❤❤ Thanks for doing the reviews- so helpful ❤
I love that Easy Start tab sooooo much!! 🏷️🧶😊
I just love Hobbii in general, it's such a great site!
I got the Universe yarn in a mystery bag and I have't done much with it except a tiny dress for a Calico Critter, but I agree, it's beautiful.
Thank you for another informative video💖
The Universe yarn is absolutely incredible!! The colors are spectacular! I'm so impressed with Hobbii yarns in general! 🧶🧶🧶
I love easy start tabs too. Herrschners Worsted 8 has them too and is really budget friendly.
Thank you for sharing! I love those easy start tabs!! 🏷️
I’m watching your Hobii show wanted to tell you I bought some Christmas yarn from Herrschners and they have easy start! I’m making hexagon granny square sweaters for Christmas for my daughters and me. I’m a procrastinator so maybe they’ll be ready in time.
That's so good to know!! Thanks for sharing and good luck finishing in time! 🎄
Thank you so much for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
I like hobbi because they have promo price a lot of time and the choice of color. So it’s easy to test new sort of yarn
Thank you so much for sharing!! Their colors are amazing!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Having had a massive amount of yarn barf today, a clear center pull is so helpful. I spent SO MUCH time untangling and rewrapping that yarn barf. It was so frustrating. One thing I can say about Red Heart acrylic is that they have the center pull out and ready.
Yes! It's so frustrating!! Thanks for sharing about Red Heart! ♥️
I made the dragon scale last year, with another yarn, it's one of my favourite shawls, and it has saved me from the dampness and coldness of the evening several times already!
It's absolutely gorgeous!! ❤️❤️❤️
That universe yarn is so gorgeous. I was eyeing it in the background the whole video thinking "she said it was soft for acrylic but is it really? It's just such a pretty color..." and then you ranked it so well I'm gonna have to get some.
It is soft but a couple of others in the comments mentioned that the glittery threads did cause slight discomfort when working with it. 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet I think that's to be expected. Thank you for the heads up! I'm still in love with it :)
I love many of Hobbii's yarns. The fantasy is great, and I also like the Cottons, the rainbow, the friends, and the Sultan cakes (Gradient Colors).
Thank you for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for your reviews! I am new to crochet and love the detail. It helps me to know what to look for in a yarn.
Thank you for doing a video on this website, you just helped me find the perfect site for getting crochet thread/lace weight yarn in bulk for my projects!
I'm so glad!!! They have such nice yarns!! 🧶🧶🧶
Loved this video🤩 Living in Norway Hobbii has really reasonable shipping costs, and a great selection of yarn🥰
Can I ask you which crochet hook you were using in this video?
I was using the Dot Crochet Hooks from WeCrochet! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet thank you 🥰
My son loves you now. Universe was 50% off on the September Sale 😊
Oooh! Such a gorgeous yarn!! 🧶🧶🧶
Can you do a review on some of the more niche unique yarns hobbi has? Like sultan shadow, colorina, & metallico for example?
Thanks for the suggestion!! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm so glad! I really love their yarns! 🧶🧶🧶
Yay!!! I hope you are as impressed with their yarn as I was! 🧶📦📬
I use some of the Hobbii cottons for amigurumi and I love it for that. Great video Elise!
I haven't tried a lot of them, but so far my favorites are Premier Parfait Chunky and Bernat Blanket! 🧶🧶🧶
Dear Elise,
Thank you for sharing Hobbii yarn 🧶 I hope one day I can try them, I’ll add them to my list to try.
Your videos are always informative, greatly appreciated.
Take care and God’s blessings to you and your family 🙏🏽💜🧶😻🐶🩷
Thank you so much!!! ❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet You’re most welcome 💜🩷🥰😻🐶🧶
I loved this video. Learning so much from you. Thank You!!!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
5:14 "I don't really know why I chose that colour." Perhaps you were thinking of knitting a traffic cone? 😁
Thank you for making this video! I had never heard of this shop before and now I have some new yarns to add to my try list, and also got to download some new patterns to try!
I love the Hobbii cotton yarns.
I am new to crochet and very new to Amigurami but this yarn helps.
I particularly like the 8/8 and 8/6
I watched your video today and was so excited to get the recommended yarn from Hobbii to start a pattern that I had purchased from CAROcreated design, doll Mia. Unfortunately most of the colors I needed from Hobbii were out of stock...white, nude and a dozen other colors. Oh well hopefully they'll have them back in stock soon. Love your videos you're such an inspiration!! Thank you!
I just finished my first dragon scale yarn using that universe yarn. It worked well. Coloring was gorgeous. A little rough on my hands by the end tho.
Thank you for sharing about it feeling rough in your hands. The yarn is so beautiful! 🧶🧶🧶
Great video and you've helped me pick some cotton for my first order from Hobbii, now I just have to work out the best plush yarn to buy from them
I've heard some people really like their Honey Bunny yarn. 🐰
I'm a big fan of Hobbii. I'm currently using Friends wool for a sweater. It's nice and rich feeling.
❤🧶😊🧶❤️
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! 🧶🧶🧶
TYIA!
Yes the Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8 would be a fantastic substitute! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet Thank you!
I love a cotton blend yarn too!! 🧶🧶🧶
Hobbi has several cotton blend yarns. The favorite is twister (color change), but they also have twister solid among others.
That is so good to know!!! Thanks so much for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you Elise for another fun and informative video. Good to know. Have a blessed week friends.
Thank you so much!! Yes!! I adore Toni's yarn!!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise!
Oooh!! Exciting!! I hope it goes well!! Yes! I will do another Q & A soon!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet Thank you! I'm so excited! I'm so excited for your QnA and i hope meine question gets answered!
Thank you 🖤
Glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
That's amazing! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for sharing your experience!! I also love Happy Place!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love love Hobbi. I would love to see you do a review of the sultan and twister cakes. Twister is my favorite
Twist my arm!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for the suggestion!! I will definitely be trying more Hobbii yarns! 🧶🧶🧶
When did you get your Dots crochet hooks? I've recently ordered some to give them a try and then I saw your video. I can't remember if I've seen you use them before. Great video by the way. I'm really enjoying your yarn comparison videos 😊
Thank you! I got them a couple of months ago. I'm testing them out! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you Elise for creating Petunia Petal
Mouse!💜 I just love her! Going to get the yarn to make her🫂
You are so welcome! I'm so glad you like her! 🐭
Wow, thank you so much for these videos and recommendations.
I'll definitely be using them.

I want to add that I recently discovered "I love this yarn" from HL, and I love it. I'll recommend it instead of Red Heart, 100% acrylic, 7oz, 355yds, very soft, only $4.99 per skein (the last 2 times I've been to the store there was a 30% discount on all colors), and comes in many, many colors. Excellent for blankets.
