Hi Steve, how's the night heater going with the air conditioner unit, I think it's an year old or so by now, I can remember you having it fitted in there shop, with only one tower exhaust crome pip working back then, then after a few months you & that lovely young lady renewed the complete stacks system, just love your chanel Steve, I hear poor time had a bit of a break down, I hope he now is getting back to being old Tim again my friend Steve. @clarencewiles963 They just added 70 more miles of construction it's been a headache for us locals for about 4 years but I will say in the long run it's going to be pretty nice 4 Lanes each direction after so many years of just being 2 lanes each way...

Hard to believe they’d route you through all those narrow jersey walls with oversized! A lot of drivers these days would’ve jacked that up. My dad ran oversized steel tanks mainly all over from Texas. Always had issues running to Pacific NW!

Steve, people try to say truck driving isn't a skilled profession. What you did in that construction zone, just proves how wrong those people are!!! great job, keep doing what you are doing!
It's an extremely unique profession I will say. Too bad the government doing everything they can to destroy it.

Jeez the lane just want from enough room to you only have about a foot on both side of the over size load. But you gotten it done and thru their. But a little warning from the route manages for oversize load DoT permit should have give a little heads up. That four wheel I don't think was paying attention or just wanted to get ahead of the truck but doing it in a dangerous way.
This is a great video. Just generally looking at that fire truck and being an Oshkosh most likely over priced and can tell there was missing details not tended to such as the top ladder was not painted properly and the lines and tubes at the top are not sealed properly. The most expensive thing on the Oshkosh is the tires.

Its so awesome to see you pass through my Tri-Stata area. I wish I could have witnessed you passing by. I take I-64 daily for my work commute. Huntington, WV - Barboursville, WV. Seems there's a wreck everyday in that short distance.
The Flying J at the beginning on this video has an outdoor shooting range on the hill halfway above where the trucks park. Its where the brownish billboard is.

Heck, yeah! It looks scary as heck. I'll be starting to escorting over size loads in 1 or 2 months. With your FSC TH-cam channel & Gentry n Sons TH-cam channel. I have learned so much. I wont to say not only hi but also say thank you for what both of y'all do. My cousin has been in that business for 4 or 5 years. I just got certified in January. He thinks I know more about that oversized stuff than he does.

Your experience and skill meant you threaded that needle. I was recently in Ireland and many secondary roads are very narrow in their lanes and overall. Even in a compact car like the Audi A3 rental I had, is was pushing the edges and worried about clipping mirrors. It was especially bad when trucks, and buses comming the other way. For sure some pucker factor. Just slow down, don't over react, and anticipate possible cars from the other way and when should pull over in a slightly wide spot or shoulder area.

Holy crap gas is dirt cheap there. 3.36/g=4.25 CAD. I wish. 5.6/g CAD here in canada and I'm not even in the expensive parts of the country that are sitting around 7.25/g CAD(5.3 USD) for regular. Always love seeing orwell videos.

That was a close call with that car nearly been a radiator ornament, didn't even check the lane before merging. Orwell takes those hills nicely for an old bugger and sounding sweet doing it.

I drive for kc (15:00 - 16:00 minute mark) out of our Carleton, Michigan terminal. We have a terminal in Buffalo, Wv. Small world ha ha.

I am not a truck driver, but I do have an 8.5' wide trailer, and the first time I used it on a really long trip I ran into super narrow lanes like that. Really turned me white

Watch out for those "Coal Buckets" in WV! LOL. I used to drive a Tri-axle in Pa for years, so I know the deal. We only got paid by the load, so the more loads you hauled in a day, the more money went into your pocket. "Coal trucks" have bad reputation around here. Stone haulers are just considered coal trucks and while a lot are paid hourly, they get treated the same - badly. Their downfall is they they throw stones from between their tires a lot.

Edit: I forgot, driving in between those concrete barriers are even more fun at night, when they have them flashing arrows and signs so bright it would light up a football field blasting you right in the eyes.

Orwell don't seem to have as much snap since you work on the engine,did turn the power down?
Steve doesn't need to put his foot in it so deep now that all the air leaks are fixed. He's making more power down low now, that lets him go a bit easier on the dinosaur squeezings.
That was a close call there & it would've been the driver of the Toyota fault
