I think you need to read the whole chapter to get the full understanding of why the man died reaching for the ark he died because it was not his job if you read it you would understand that every one each had there own job to do & the man was not appointed to touch the ark if any one is interested there was hundreds who walked out of exile with the ark this is not a good description or understanding of any of the story also you don't use bible references to tell your story's nice picture but nothing real

TL;DR Ron Wyatt had a passion for the Kingdom of God and for the lost; he found many physical proofs of the Truth of the Bible including the Ark of the Covenant.
I believe that God indeed used Ron Wyatt to find many many archeological discoveries from the bible including the true Mt. Sinai in Arabia (Galations 4:25), the Red Sea crossing, Noah's Ark, Sodom/Gomorrah and the Cities of the plains, and many others. He was well-respected by the secular Jewish head of the Israeli Antiquities Authority in the 1970's because Ron and his sons had found Caananite burial Urns--shedding light on ancient Caananite burial practices. This allowed him access to the Garden Tomb area and ultimately the crucifiction site which He was allowed to excavate with the IAA's blessing.
Golgatha looked like a skull and had the cross holes carved into the rock which was above a Roman era cistern with Roman-era pottery and other artifacts. Below that, Ron and his sons found an elaborate 1st Temple-era tunnel system where the Table of Show bread and other 1st Temple implements were found; he did find that The Ark of the Covenant was directly below the site where Christ died. He believed that the subsequent earthquake destroyed the center crosshole, created a crack in the ceiling of the cave, and allowed Jesus' blood to sprinkle the mercy seat just. Around the same time, another symbolic event occurred: the Holy of Holies' curtain was torn from top to bottom indicating that Christ's sacrifice paid everything.
Ron shared these findings with his friend at the IAA who, as he once stated, eventually found another entrance to the cave and is guarding these artifacts until the time is right.
I have spent 20 years looking into these findings and more. I lived in Saudi Arabia and had friends who have travelled to Mt. Sinai, and seen the remains of the Golden Calf Altar, the split rock of Horeb, and the camp and altars of the Israelites and the burnt triangular-shaped peak of the mountain itself. These things actually exist.
I have seen firsthand the balls of sulfur Ron discovered at the cities of the plains.
I have personally even met with Ron's good friend Richard Rives for hours discussing these and other fiindings. We discussed at length how even some Creationists--including great organizations like Answers in Genesis--dismiss obvious physical evidence due to pre-conceived prejudices. We discussed the weeks Richard and Ron spent kidnapped by rebels in Turkey exploring the Noah's Ark. Richard shared with me how even his own semi-successful efforts to re-excavate the Ark of the Covenant site were disappointing because he wanted to prove to the world that Ron was right to the Christian world.
Make no mistake: Ron had a passion for the lost and for God and was never motivated by personal fame. He himself would say his findings were worthless if he couldn't use them to point to the Truth of the Bible and to Jesus himself. Ron died in 1999 but his widow, Mary Nell Wyatt assembled many of his discoveries and did an excellent job chronicling them.
There are many well-meaning Christians, even some I respect, that may reject Ron's findings outright; that is between them and their conscience. While I wouldn't call myself an expert, I do understand that we as different parts of Christ's Ekklesia focus on different things. I would encourage those that my be inclined to reject Ron Wyatt's findings out of hand not attack and insult those of us reasoned and faithful believers who embrace them. We are all part of the same body building the Kingdom of God.

The Children of Israel were an ignorant lot, that needed physical objects, authorized by God, and protected by Moses and Aaron's priests, in which they could believe. The Ark of the Covenant was just such an object, later surrounded by the "curtains of the Holy of Holies", and even later by Solomon's Temple!! The Power of the Ark was the Power extended to obedient believers in the Mosaic Law!! The Ark IS a sacred object and is in God's possession to this day!!
