Is peter in heaven no he is not 🚫
He denied the true gospel to the Jews of non circumsicion and hence didn't proclaim true gospel of Christ.

He never stopped being a healer. Those who need healing, if they would diligently seek it and Him, will get healing. Sometimes we have to latch onto a promise or a story in God's Word and not let go, not take no for an answer, and be relentless. It's like rock climbing. Sometimes you get discouraged and din't believe, sometimes you fall, sometimes you get tired, sometimes you want to do something else, sometimes you struggle tremendously to get to the top, but you have to keep trying. Get to the top at all costs. Get your healing.

Of course it is. All of them are if you know that there is no such thing as sin. Actually, there is one and that is to deny that you are equal to Christ. He was simply a messenger that came to tell you this. Think about every stigmata case. It’s the same thing. It’s messengers. The lot is within you. The kingdom of God is within you. Split a piece of wood and I am there. Left a stone and you will find me.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

After listing all the types of people who will not inherit the Kingdom of God, in 1st Corinthians chapter 6, Paul went on to write: "Some of you were just like that, but now you have been washed clean and sanctified."
The key was word was: "Were," indicating that those who had previously engaged in such practices considered unrighteousness by God, had since renounced them, and were now living in a manner God wanted them to, much like Paul had renounced his former life course as a persecuter of Christianity. Had they'd continued in such practices, they wouldn't have been washed clean and sanctified.
And that's the key, we are forgiven of our sins, and therefore not defined by them, as long as we discontinue living in such a way that God condemns. Granted we all make mistakes, sometimes serious ones, but there's a big difference in making a mistake, and deliberately choosing to live in a manner that is unapproved by God, especially after knowing what God commends and what he condemns.
Its one thing to know something is either right or wrong, but its quite different to put into practice what I right, and to stop doing what we know to be wrong. And until a person decides to give up a wrong course, and start living a righteous course, showing it by what they do, they're not a true Follower of Christ. Jesus even said as much at John 8:31: "If you obey my teachings you are really my disciples."
It's not just merely claiming to be Christian, you have to demonstrate it in how you live your life. the Disciple James put it this way:
"Faith, if not backed up with action, is dead... so you see we are judged righteous by what we do and not by faith alone." - James chapter 2.
Jesus said it quite plainly in his famous Sermon on the Mount:
"Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws." - Mathew 7:21-23.

Like when he just jumped up in the garden , when Jesus was praying , and sweeting blood ,as the Roman soldiers , came up to ,his master and he just lobbed off , one of , the soldiers ears , with his sword , and then he denied him 3 times , but he made up for it later , yes , Peter is my favorite , disciple ! I hope to meet him one , day , and I don’t think I will be disappointed ! But praise Jesus , as he is the , king of kings !

@@nbenefiel NOPE! Where do you get your inaccurate information? First Peter was written sometime between AD 62 and 64 while Paul was under house arrest from AD 60-62. Neither refer to each other being in Rome, only Silvanus and Mark were his companions. These facts suggest 1st Peter was written sometime after AD 62. Peter was writing during the suffering and persecution of Christians under Nero's reign. The persecutions arose in Rome and was spreading to Asia Minor. 1st Peter was written to encourage suffering believers to stand firm in Christ in the midst of persecution. He reminded them that we Christians are only sojourners in this world and our home is in heaven. Peter emphasizes that suffering is normal for believers because we are temporary residents in this world. 1st Peter is a beautiful encouraging epistle to believers and still to this day gives us hope to look forward to as we find no justice in this world for the persecution we face.

@@Leokat334 The gospel of Peter is a Gnostic gospel, written sometime in the mid second century, long, long after the apostle Peter was dead. It contains that bizarre story of the cross that expanded, floated out of the tomb and actually spoke. It was also highly antisemitic. The gnostic gospels were pretty far out but Peter was about as weird as it got. There was a reason the gnostic gospels were not included in the canonical New Testament, not the least being that they were not written until well after the NT was compiled..

Immediately before his denials were predicted, Peter was told, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail; and when you have turned again [after the denials], strengthen your brethren” (Luke 22:31-32). It was Peter who Christ prayed would have faith that would not fail and that would be a guide for the others; and his prayer, being perfectly efficacious, was sure to be fulfilled.
Two important things were told the apostle. “Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matt. 16:19). Here Peter was singled out for the authority that provides for the forgiveness of sins and the making of disciplinary rules. Later the apostles as a whole would be given similar power [Matt.18:18], but here Peter received it in a special sense.
Peter alone was promised something else also: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 16:19). In ancient times, keys were the hallmark of authority. A walled city might have one great gate; and that gate had one great lock, worked by one great key. To be given the key to the city-an honor that exists even today, though its import is lost-meant to be given free access to and authority over the city. The city to which Peter was given the keys was the heavenly city itself. This symbolism for authority is used elsewhere in the Bible (Isa. 22:22, Rev. 1:18).
Finally, after the Resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples and asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?” (John 21:15-17). In repentance for his threefold denial, Peter gave a threefold affirmation of love. Then Christ, the Good Shepherd (John 10:11, 14), gave Peter the authority he earlier had promised: “Feed my sheep” (John 21:17).

Everyone needs to look at the Greek text about the “Rock”. The word for Peter (Petros) means a small stone. When Jesus says on this ROCK, He uses pertra which means huge boulder or cliff. It only makes sense the Jesus was referring to himself.

      @richlopez5896 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

BOTH were Rocks. At their first meeting, Christ told Simon that his name would thereafter be Peter, which translates as “Rock” (John 1:42). Christ was not given to meaningless gestures, and neither were the Jews when it came to names. Giving a new name meant that the status of the person was changed, as when Abram’s name was changed to Abraham (Gen.17:5), Jacob’s to Israel (Gen. 32:28), Eliakim’s to Joakim (2 Kgs. 23:34)
When he first saw Simon, “Jesus looked at him, and said, ‘So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called Cephas (which means Peter)’” (John 1:42). The word Cephas is merely the transliteration of the Aramaic Kepha into Greek. “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church” (Matt. 16:18).
From the grammatical point of view, the phrase “this rock” must relate back to the closest noun. Peter’s profession of faith (“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”) is two verses earlier, while his name, a proper noun, is in the immediately preceding clause. Peter is the foundation of the Church. Christ is naturally the principal and, since he will be returning to heaven, the invisible foundation of the Church that he will establish; but Peter is named by him as the secondary and, because he and his successors will remain on earth, the visible foundation. Peter can be a foundation only because Christ is the cornerstone.
Note that Christ did not speak to the disciples in Greek. He spoke Aramaic, the common language of Palestine at that time. In that language the word for rock is kepha, which is what Jesus called him in everyday speech (note that in John 1:42 he was told, “You will be called Cephas“). What Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 was: “You are Kepha, and upon this kepha I will build my Church.”
When Matthew’s Gospel was translated from the original Aramaic to Greek, there arose a problem which did not confront the evangelist when he first composed his account of Christ’s life. In Aramaic the word kepha has the same ending whether it refers to a rock or is used as a man’s name. In Greek, though, the word for rock, petra, is feminine in gender. The translator could use it for the second appearance of kepha in the sentence, but not for the first because it would be inappropriate to give a man a feminine name. So he put a masculine ending on it, and hence Peter became Petros. In English, like Aramaic, there is no problem with endings; so an English rendition could read: “You are Rock, and upon this rock I will build my church.”
“The Lord says to Peter: ‘I say to you,’ he says, ‘that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church.’ . . . On him [Peter] he builds the Church, and to him he gives the command to feed the sheep [John 21:17], and although he assigns a like power to all the apostles, yet he founded a single chair [cathedra], and he established by his own authority a source and an intrinsic reason for that unity. Indeed, the others were that also which Peter was [i.e., apostles], but a primacy is given to Peter, whereby it is made clear that there is but one Church and one chair. So too, all [the apostles] are shepherds, and the flock is shown to be one, fed by all the apostles in single-minded accord. If someone does not hold fast to this unity of Peter, can he imagine that he still holds the faith? If he should desert the chair of Peter upon whom the Church was built, can he still be confident that he is in the Church?”-St. Cyprian of Carthage (The Unity of the Catholic Church 4; 1st edition [A.D. 251]

At their first meeting, Christ told Simon that his name would thereafter be Peter, which translates as “Rock” (John 1:42)
In first century Greek the words petros and petra were synonyms. They had previously possessed the meanings of “small stone” and “large rock” in some early Greek poetry, but by the first century this distinction was gone, as Protestant Bible scholars admit (see D. A. Carson’s remarks on this passage in the Expositor’s Bible Commentary [Grand Rapids: Zondervan Books]).
Then Christ, the Good Shepherd (John 10:11, 14), gave Peter the authority he earlier had promised: “Feed my sheep” (John 21:17)

14:58 I don’t understand why people have decided that the question is: “Who is the Rock?”
I read it very differently. I see the question as “What rock is our wonderful Saviour speaking of?” My answer is: the rock right in front of them, with a cave beneath it, called the ‘Gates of Hell’.
I read it as: “You are Peter [clearly spoken to a person] and on this rock [spoken of the landform adjacent to them all, which was an enormous boulder] I will build my church (community of set-apart people) and the ‘Gates of Hell’ [the common name for the cave beneath the boulder, from which a spring fed stream still flows to this day; this was thought by the Hellenists to be an entry to the realm of the dead and the water was thought to be joined to the River Styx] will not prevail [keep winning; take people into the realm of the dead; Jesus would build a church in which people would know they had eternal life - they were not going to be claimed by the ferryman Charon l, whom the popular thinking taught would take their souls across the river from this world into Hades] against it.”
Jesus reference to Peter’s name was a hook to hang His message of eternal life on. Caesarea Philippi was deliberately chosen as the setting for this message.
Telling people far and wide about His salvation … a means of eternal rescue from the fear of death. People everywhere can be free from being doomed to living in the shadowy Realm of the Dead. This fearsome future story was replaced by Jesus’ Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven. In God’s Kingdom, Eternal Life is given freely to all who believe that God sent Jesus to die their dying for them and rise from the dead to live forever, in the Light! Because He lives so they can too!!! This message holds the keys to that Kingdom. Telling people the message opens the way into that Kingdom. ‘Binding people’ is not what this is about… it is the telling of Jesus’ message that the apostles could bind or loose. If it’s not presented clearly and correctly it is bound in heaven as well as on earth… because no one can believe God’s message if they don’t actually hear it properly.
Jesus immediately went on to teach the disciples [Matthew 16:21-28] about His coming suffering at the hands of the religious leaders, culminating in His death and resurrection.
Immediately after our Lord poured out His Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, it was Peter who preached to the assembled crowd of Jewish pilgrims in Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost. He announced to them the Good News of the Kingdom of God… evidenced by the gift of the Holy Spirit Himself poured out onto all believers.
Acts 2:14-39… Peter admonishes them all, ending with these words (v36):
“Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”
Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”
I see the whole context of the whole passage in Matthew 16 in this light.
