You are criminally underrated 😱😱 Thank you so so much for making such amazing videos!! Med school would be a billion times more fun if you were my professor 😭
Thank you for this! I was just diagnosed with Autoimmune Autonomic Ganglionopathy which is basically the same as MG but the antibodies attack the ganglion instead of the muscle. It's extremely rare so it has been very hard to find any info but this video was very helpful!
This channel is so underrated. You really make it very engaging for us medical online learners. Your witty mnemonics worked really well for me in consolidating my memory thankyou
Good pace. Clear and convencing - good stuff Maynard. The proof of one's understanding is the ability to explain it. The world has need of mile striding Giants to inspire the common man to shuffle forward some minor fraction of an inch !! Thanks for the nudge.
Much appreciated effort 👌 Kindly do tutorials on 1.pharynx ( especially the structures passing through spaces between the constrictors _Killian's dehiscence) 2. Thyroid gland 3. Larynx (cartilage and muscles) Giving special emphasis on neurovascular supply and lymphatic drainage Thank you
Also it would be nice to have tutorials on 1. Rectum and anal canal ( structures, relations, neurovascular supply lymphatic drainage) 2. Separate tutorials on Stomach , duodenum, pancreas. 3. Renal and ureter anatomy ( emphasis on renal fascia) 4. Appendectomy 😊
May I please ask which Is the function of the alpha 2 adrenergic agonist? Does the acetylcholine works in sinergy with potassium or which other electrolyte ? Thanks
Thank you so much for this video sir it helped alot. And I have a doubt about adrenal medulla. As the neurotransmitter of adrenal medulla is adrenaline, why it is coming in cholinergic?? Please help me with this.
At 7:21 you show the nicotinic receptors of the chromaffin cells under Parasympathetic, but isn't that part of the Sympathetic system since epinephrine is released?
Yes I can see that is confusing the way I put it. I did not mean to put it that way and it totally looks that way. So the take-home point is that synapse In the chromaffin cells in the adrenal medulla contains nicotinic receptors. However, you are absolutely correct that this is a sympathetic pathway
What is the ad during your video ? Why it’s ad for energy drink this is advertising at its attempt to manipulate your ad receptor at its best that’s why we need laws to fight other humans trying to make $ at others risk nuff said you get it

I had my first med school exam today and I'm pretty sure I got this wrong lol. Just here to drill it into my head.

this is a very useful video to connect the dots. what are receptors and why do we need to study them. Thank you.
Very usefull!
If our bodies have nicotine receptors then what are the benefits of nicotine? Why does our body have these specific receptors?
Thank you so much for this video sir it helped alot.
