This is so crucial for people with MTHFR / Methylation issues (which are often downplayed as "quackery") because without proper synthesis of choline from phosphatidylcholine, there will always be a lack of choline to support ACh synthesis. I have C677T ++ but also an impaired PEMT gene, and whilst MTHFR led me down a path of "Methylfolate is everything" I came to realise that Choline support is huge - especially in my case. So it would appear for me that taking Alpha GPC would bypass the impaired PEMT gene and better support my ACh synthesis, as choline supplements apparently do not cross the BBB as well and phosphatidylcholine requires synthesis (via PEMT) so that's also a no-go (stuck coins in your gumball machine - or rather, lack of coins to begin with! 🤣) I've only been studying this for 8 months with no medical/scientific background, but have so far "cured" my migraines (not 1 after suffering daily for 20yrs) and am now focusing on ADD/ADHD. Great video.
Excessive accumulation of acetylcholine (ACh) at the neuromuscular junctions and synapses causes symptoms of both muscarinic and nicotinic toxicity. These include cramps, increased salivation, lacrimation, muscular weakness, paralysis, muscular fasciculation, diarrhea, and blurry vision👍
Thanks for your comment ... i am kicking myself that i did not include the mnemonic DUMBBELSS that i usually use to describe symptoms of AChE inhibitor poisoning: Diarrhea, Urination, Miosis, Bronchospasm, Bradycardia, Excitation of muscle and CNS, Lacrimation, Salivation and Sweating.
Several of these symptoms include excess fluid/mucous production therefore I am guessing that a runny nose might also be a symptom. What about sensitivity to light, is that a symptom?
