      @Justin Davis - Yes I do. Bought them with the 3D camera and VTX which was fun to play with around the house but never installed on a quad. Always thought the 3D gear would be better on a FPV RC Truck.

      According to the reviews out yet the sky03‘s are not the way to go. Blurry edges and horrible fan noise from what I saw yet. HD3 are at the same pricepoint.

    Great review, Justin, but the SkyZone Sky0*3* is the new hotness. :) Would love to see you do a review of them. They came out at a very high price point, though. The Cylon like LED strip on the front is just goofy, too. Price and cyborg effects aside, it would be great to see you do a review of them. They look like they'd be a great set of goggles, but I don't know if they can justify the $460 they want for them.

    I’m so glad that I ordered the latest version of sky zone 02’s with all the stuff you’ve shown on here. I don’t know if I’ll use the 3D gear, but it’s good to know they’re in there. I got them on special from Banggood, can’t wait till I get them and try them out with my trashcan drone, I’ve only got a cheap set of goggles and I know that they wouldn’t be any good with the trashcan.

      Drone Camps RC, I’m glad to know that they’re reliable, I’ve seen that a few reviewers have said that they were good. I’m sure that I’ve made the right choice. I’m in Australia, so of course they were more than expensive here, but I’m positive I’m going to be happy with my purchase, $422.89, but I know that in comparison if I’d bought fat sharks I would have been up for a lot more, especially after having to get a module.

    The Fatshark faceplate fits fine on these without modding the goggles. You just need to shave a little plastic off the faceplate and they clip on easy, and you just need to add a little tape or foam to stop light leak along the top if it bothers you (I never have). The image quality is much better than the Dom v3s, and it doesn’t feel like you’re sat miles from the screen. The spectrum analyser is very good for checking who’s flying on what, and finding a clear channel, and useful for finding your quad.. i put some old glasses lens in mine with no problem using some foam tape. I love them, but the dvr quality is truly shit and crops the 16/9 image to 4/3

    Good goggles for the price! Specially with the dual diversity. Think a good pro would be that the diversity is already installed in the goggles. Ive heard horror storys about folks trying to install that laforge inside the fatshark casing. I just got the tru D and called it that though :) Good review Justin!!

    What about the reception of the signal? Did you notice less artifacts on aomways? I'm doing my research for my forst fpv googles, and it comes down to aomways and skyzones. The main concern for me is the range and signal quality, sensitivity from spec sheet looks like this: aomways -92dbm, skyzones -90dbm. Few reviews try to compare range and quality of signal, but those which do tell that aomways have the advantage. Can you give me your comment on that (regarding only aomways and skyzones)?

    • @dronecamps
      @dronecamps  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally I like the Skyzones. When the Aomways came out about a year ago they were great! I had them a while and I like my skyzones. They just feel better on my head. Less light leaks and the range can be upgraded with better antennas and or course a stronger Video transmitter on your quad. Also a nice Patch antenna on one side makes them legit. Also I like the screens. very clear.

    • @sirLukash
      @sirLukash 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, many people recommend me aomways, but I think it mostly comes down to this, that more people have them. I think I'll buy Pagoda 2 and triple feed patch from Maarten Baert. Thanks for the response, and keep up the great videos coming! :)

      Warm them up on your forehead for 15 minutes or so (with the battery plugged in) before you use them, and no worries about foggin up. I have the SkyZone 01s's. I bought the fan mod kit for them and ended up taking it off as I found I never had to use the fan (which shortened the stock battery life by a lot) if I warmed them up first.

    I know the Skyzones and especially the Aomway goggles are very popular, but when looking for my next set of goggles I keep going back to FatShark. For me, FatShark having service and repair centers is a big selling point. If I saved money with the Aomway goggles, what if something happens to the fan, or a screen is damaged? At least with FS I can send them in for repair. What about the Dominator V3s? Those seem like a good middle ground goggle for this price range.

      Will Mercier nice fatshark have that, you probably gonna need that with the problems they give after some time... I've tested fatshark hd3, hd2, V3 and aomway and the skyzone sky02, after getting the sky02 I don't want to use any other googles, they are so good and easy to use, the menu and osd blown fatshark away.
