sorry about the border around the footage, Netflix REALLY tried their best to keep this video off the internet. You're watching the 10th version of this video, all of the others were blocked worldwide :(
For some reason too in man of steel bro has dildo pods that fly the kryptonians up to the ship
That displate add felt like 3h.
Let's hope they get this shit blocked, one less dumbfuck crying over great Zack Snyder movies.
This displate add just made me realize people will waste money on anything.

"Not the version I wanted" has become Zach Snyder's get out of jail free card.

@@iheartblock3792 I agree. Snyder's just a hack.
@@iheartblock3792 nah I think his 300 , watchman , his JL were pretty good even men of steeland suckerpunch was alright but his other movies are bad . I think he is talented director but he should stay away from writing
just based on the acting and world building we've seen tho, there is no version of this movie in any universe that is good though. At least with the justice league there were bits and pieces that weren't terrible/terribly acted, but rebel moon just has zero redeeming qualities.
@@user-un3ij5ln1e I don’t know how you can think that. 300 was boring as hell and borderline fascist propaganda, watchman and man of steel were both awful adaptations with the opposite message of the original comics.
Apparently, this started as a Star Wars script that was rejected by Disney.
I can see why…
I don't. Would fit in their portfolio.
They didn't reject The Acolyte, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Mandolorian season 3 or the sequel trilogy scripts. They'll make any old trash so long as a woman is the lead
Disney only rejected it because it wasn't gay enough. The quality they want is there for sure.

Funny how Earth has all these varied cultures and ecosystems, yet most sci fi planets only have one. "This is the laundromat planet Laundromatica V. It rains detergent, socks are currency, and all our creatures are ambulatory clothing items."

The easy answer is that any planet will assume the culture of the first people to colonize it, and naturally their children will follow their footsteps.

I would totally understand if Rabodius V merged the culture of the Space Spanish (who colonized them) with the indigenous Rabodians, perhaps supplanting their fertility goddess with Saint Space Suzy. Let's even say it's a really comfy planet, so it hosts a lot of spas and space tourism, so it kind of specializes in that, and it gets luxury goods like space tobacco and space diamonds from trade ships. It's still going to want to provide for its residents' needs like food, shelter, and basic commodities, because if social unrest or a solar storm cut them off from the Galactic Empire, they'd still want to survive. A lot of franchises don't do this. You have planets that are just Space New York or are just one giant smelting plant.
The beginning where they force them to make a certain amount of grain before they come back is LITERALLY the EXACT same plot as a bugs life. 😂😂😂😂

@SMcGowan287 hell yeah! So glad I wasn't the only one either! It's almost beat for beat a big life... 😂
I think it's a nod to the Irish potato famine
Its the same plot as a bunch of movies, literally one of the most recycled storylines out there
@douchopotamus3755 Yes, I understand that, it's just really funny imaging a star wars rip off using the plot of a bugs life where Kevin Spacey voiced a CGI that forces a town of random aliens to collect grain but all the grain on the planet is super large where the humans are the equivalent size to ants on the planet. Instead of aliens too and everyone is just a different type of bug. So yeah, I know the plot itself has been done to death. But still a funny imagination. 😁
Zach Snyder made 300 and Watchmen like 20 years ago, and Hollywood has been cutting that coke-head blank checks ever since. It's mind-blowing! 😂

The whole "netflix cut" shtick is purely a marketing gimmick at this point. Snyder cut of justice league was an internet sensation, so now he's trying to recapture that with every single movie.
Plenty of other directors are able to make their vision within the provisions given to them, especially when netflix wants your project. But he's gotta do the whole R rated cut BS
zack snyder anytime anyone says anything remotely bad about one of his movies: "yeah actually it wasn't my vision at all"
It's also a sign of good directing that a director is able to make a good movie with the studio's limitations. Snyder is using the director's cut as a crutch.
It's sad that the only way to make a Snyder movie seem good these days is to release an arguably worse cut of it in advance

Zack Synder is just a more pretentious Michael Bay, AM I WRONG? Also as a Randian he could never understand Superman
What's a randian ?
Michael Bay at least had a good movie in recent years with “Ambulance” Zack’s JL was made in 2017 and what he added in 2021 was the Post Apocalypse scene and other stuff that wasn’t needed.
at least michael bay knew what he was making and made it accordingly. zach snyder thinks hes a genius and thinks hes making works of art
Superman is inherently unselfish, something Randians can’t understand.
Michael Bay has actual talent though and his movies are at least competent and entertaining.
Akira Kurosawa is rolling around in his grave after Zack Snyder bastardized " The Seven Samurai" with this dreck.
...as well as the Samurai 7 the anime...

@@Ichimonji21 Samurai 7 is based on The Seven Samurai. Go figure. Come to think of it A Bugs Life also ripped off The Seven Samurai.

There are a lot of movies taking inspiration from Akira Kurosawa. The Magnificent 7 for example. Hell, there even was a Star Wars the Clone Wars episode with a similar theme of protecting a village. And what do they all have in common? Being better than Rebel Moon lol

@@MrFakefall The sarcasm is truly strong with you.
But seriously, Snyder is a case of fame getting to the head too much.
It’s like they took the surface level of 40K aesthetics and mixed it with an awful Star Wars fan fiction. Like the main bad guy’s uniform looks just like a commissar’s…
for real, also naming the main antagonist Belisarius is the same as the Magos Belisarius Cawl of the Adeptus Mechanicus. And naming the army armsdealer the Mechanicus militarum is like a weird mix of Adeptus mechanicus and astra militarum. And the uniforms look a lot like the cadians' and the commisars'
THERE'S EVEN A DUDE CALLED BELISARIUS
Rebel Moon fell before the Emperors Guard
Hell even the blasters look more like lasguns than standard star wars blasters.
Blood Axes are also an Ork clan
I'm sorry, but isn't this a retelling of A Bug's Life? Or rather, Seven Samurai? The "Nazi's" are the grasshoppers who want food. The rebels (ants) hire a motley group of outcasts to help them, etc. etc. I mean, don't get me wrong. It's a great concept, but it's already been done in Battle Beyond the Stars.
What's more, it's just stupid as hell in this context. They sent a massive ship of the fleet and expended literal tons of resources to demand unrealistic expectations of a tiny farming commune, with minimal information in regards to the status of the demanded resources. They wasted more in waving their schlongs around than they ever could have gotten from that village, and that's if everything had gone according to their plans with no resistance whatsoever. If that's standard procedure for them, their empire would be doomed to crumble from the start. They absolutely suck at racketeering, counter-insurgency, and logistics in general.
Snyder must have thought about how the working title of Star Wars was Blue Harvest and a lightbulb went off in his head.
i’m noticing a trend with zach blaming companies for forcing him to shorten his movies so they’re the proper watching length. Justice league was nowhere near good enough to warrant a 4 hour watch time
