    Thanks for sharing that trick with the vent.
    I love to add new separation lines with hints at vents or fake hydraulics behind them, so that's right u my alley.

    hi excellent tutorials, it's nice to have english instructions on tips that are usually covered in japanese and korean videos! was wondering on your process on applying foil sticker. how you measure, cut and etc. pls make a video on that.

    Great video! I struggle with designing custom lines and when I come up with something good, I then struggle to duplicate it. Do you sketch lines before deciding on a final version?

    • @GunplaNewbie
      @GunplaNewbie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks. I tend to do it on photoshop but previously I do sketches on the part itself before deciding to commit. In terms of duplicating patterns, sometimes I struggle to do it perfectly as well. But in the grand scheme of things, it's probably not noticeable unless people actively trying to look for it

    My scribers tend to wander away from the guiding tape. Would you have any idea what i'm doing wrong? Am i applying too much pressure or too little?

    • @GunplaNewbie
      @GunplaNewbie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely too much force. My first few passes doesn't remove much material at all. I just let it glide along with the tape.

    Hi hiii!! I wanted to ask where you got the thicker chisels you're using? I've been trying to find thicker ones but I'm struggling to find decent ones x.x

    • @GunplaNewbie
      @GunplaNewbie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The wider chisels that I'm using are some random brands from China. Because I don't often use them so I figured I'd get something cheaper. I got most of my chisels from taobao..but you could also consider checking out the links that I included on the description ...Amazon may have some

    Hey, i tried to spray surfacer on my gunpla, is any way to know is the paint is too thick?

    • @GunplaNewbie
      @GunplaNewbie  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Every brand is sort of different when it comes to thinning ratio....I usually just eyeball the viscosity... As a measure, I shake the bottle a little bit and see if the paint is flowing off the wall of the bottle...if yes, then it's ready....surfacer or primer tend to be on the thicker side so it's better to do at least 2.5 : 1 or even 3 : 1 ratio...if it's Modo then you'll need MORE :D

  • @monochrome2363
    @monochrome2363 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @GunplaNewbie
      @GunplaNewbie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3
