Another awesome video mate this kinda of content is what helps newer enthusiasts not to be so scared of pushing the limits of possibilities with the hobby... I know I would have loved seeing this stuff when I started it would have saved me such headaches... Keep it up boss
I absolutely love your work and I would love to know your "philosophy" on customizing gunpla, that bit where you talked about negative spaces was great!
Thank you for the support! I hope I don't come off as a know-it-all with that bit, I'm very much still learning in terms of design. I hope this has been helpful in some ways and if you have any ideas or tips, please do share as I'm trying to improve as well :D
@@GunplaNewbie Not at all! Everyone is constantly learning so little bits of information always help and if you know anything that might be worth sharing don't hesitate to put it on a video! It's great seeing your work and your progress, man :D
Quick and short transmission of information paired with good visuals. That was very useful and easy digestible, would love to see more of those. If I may add one point of suggestion: would you mind consider adding information on what chisel/engraver thickness you use? That would be neat :)
Thank you. I really do want the tutorial series to be as compressed as possible while still be informative (hopefully). Yes, definitely I could do that. In fact, I used to do that but I worry that it would be too much of a constraint in terms of adding a certain details. For example, a light switch notch can be achieved with 0.5mm or even a 1mm. But I guess it's more beneficial to include that bit of information.
I'd love to see more of your ideas and ways you would go about scribing new lines on a Zeon mobile suit. Gundam and non Gundam ms tend to favor differnet styles of panel lines, and odd end details.
The fact that you're left-handed helps us viewers a lot, because we can see where the tools go. BTW, are you a teacher or familiar with giving talk? You presentation is really fluent.
Interesting. I've never thought about the perk if being left handed lol. Haha, not really..it's the power of editing. I can take endless takes and go through mountains of bloopers :D
Nice video! I just built my first hi plate model and have been looking for scribing videos like this. I know how to scribe I just don’t know what patters or design will look good. Endless pencil tests.
Not sure if you meant the corners of the rectangle surface. I tend to scribe as close to the edges as possible and then link the lines together to form the corners. If I over scribe I could just fill them up with putty or lacquer paste...
Yo bro, i want to ask, is my steps is right? Snapbuild > disassemble (sanding scribing ) > priming > check surface > disassemble again > paint Thank you
Hey bro, that sounds about right. However, I personally don't assemble the kit after priming/surface checks. Most of the time, I do so for the video or photos lol. If it's not too tedious for you, then go ahead and assemble the primed parts just to check fitting. I check my fitting when I'm snapbuilding the kit. I try my best to identify tight parts in the process. I hope it's clear :D
@@GunplaNewbie ooo okay 🤣 i thought that after prime, need to assemble again 😅 aight.. thanks.. recently i been practicing painting.. but failed because i snapped leg joint.. so demotivated haha
Oh no...I hope you're able to fix it....regarding assembling after priming, a lot of people does that I just don't ( malas la haha) but you could do that if you want :D

Really love the way you add hose notches like they're handles/levers for the maintenance guys to unhook an armor panel.
I think this is a perfect example. Pretty straight forward but makes a HUGE difference in the appearance of the kit.
That's the goal of these mods. I hope it's been helpful ☺️
awesome video!
You're awesome too :D
Nice details!! ;)
Thank you 😊
Beautiful in it's simplicity
Great video duuuude 👌👌

It's always nice to see videos like that.. well made, fresh and clear! Keep it up, mate!

EXCELLENT TUTORIAL!!! 👏👏👏 I use the same DISPAE scribing tapes

Definitely. I'm still working on the legs at the moment, I'll add more walkthroughs!

Thanks :D Yeah, designing patterns that fit can be difficult.
Not to simple it was awesome
Thanks :D
love ur work bro...its useful!
Glad to hear that
Good tips!
Thanks 😊
Nice work! What size of scribing tool are you using to create te notch, is it 0.5mm or 1mm?
So did you scribe right before the end of the curved part?
