For picking up pla plate you can also use the tip of the hobby knife, the mark it leaves ih the part will not be seen. The risk of having the sticky stiff melt from the glue is not fun :D

Thanks for the guidence, but wanna ask something, is there any tips for choosing the thickness of pla plate? I mean which thickness should i use for 1/144, and which for the 1/100? Or is it just up to us? This might be the first time for me (entry grade rx78) so those thickness of pla plate/beam just kinda confussing me lol
Depending on what that plaplate is use for. For reshaping I prefer the thicker one.
But for detailing, it's a little bit tricky because it depends on builder taste. Sometime I like it thick, sometime I like it to be thin.
@@AlisKingdom oke thanks for the advice, dan baru ngeh ternyata orang indo juga yaa hehehe nah ada satu lagi om, untuk beberapa kasus ada yg mereka (mengikis/scribe??) part pake chisel yg agak besar dulu sebelum nempelin plaplatenya, metode kayak gitu apa memang khusus detailing aja ya misal agar terlihat kayak open hatch gitu??
Hello! I am on a very tight budget and it seems like ABS pla plates are cheaper than Polystyrene. Would this affect the glue and paint I need to use?
hello... for ABS, you can't use those standard plastic cement. you need ABS plastic cement. but another good news is... super glue also good to go 🤣
and any paint will have no problem with abs 😁

it's up to personal taste... I prefer super glue because it fast LoL
