If it's for the purpose, then it'd be extremely useful. Laptop heats like crazy when you bring it on the go and had to type something while putting it on your lap
I've had mine since it released. I don't know what it is, maybe the OLED screen, but even with a 12.9" M1 iPad Pro, I still reach for this tablet first. I love my iPad Pro too, but, the aspect ratio suits content consumption better. No huge black bars above and above the video I'm watching. Thanks for the review.
bought refurbished 4GB 128GB model on Amazon for 250. Great price. I wish it has microSD and 3.5 jack but I know that those features are things of the past. I have a Samsung tablet for 2.5x the price. I have many high end laptops with backlit but never used them. I'm a touch typist.
We always see a lot of Windows tablets, but very few ChromeOS tablet. But because of ARM chipset, I can install Andronix on Android smartphones. So despite me liking this tablet a lot, I'm still struggling about the idea of buying one.
I also use Andronix, but you do want to consider ChromeOS, even with ARM chipset, because of hardware GPU acceleration. That is something Andronix can never do until Termux gives such a capability. P.S. If you do care about GNU Linux more than Android, I suggest to stay with x86 as it has wider desktop software support compared to ARM.
wow,, you mention this tablet has a stylus,, handwriting recognition? . ..... did you mention google is supporting Chromebooks fotr 8.. 10 years,, that's an update very month for ten years tbe built in desktop chrome browser & extensions,, soon to be replaced with an external chrome browser,. with weekly security updates ... etc
the Duet 3, might be faster... since the gen 2 processor .. has fewer pixels .. to write to and its cheaper,, also has 4..8GB versions ,, .. chrome os,, desktop chrome browser with extensions ,,, android 11 ,, LINUX ..... can drive an external screen with usb c hub & HDMI or USB C ... all Chromebooks come with 1 year of 100GB cloud storage
sick of these same video's everyone has to do the same has others i dont care about the speakers the screen res. buttons and so on i would think people know what those are for im looking for some one with common sence to show and say can the keyboard stay attached when not using chromebook ect i guess thats a hard question and difficult to say
Buying this to use for Web browsing and writing books. Other laptops at this price are too bulky and don't have great screens. This is great value!

They need to make another one this one was a great product needs a refresh for 2024
Man, I really appreciate this review. Really needed a simple usage showcase.
Great review just got it like 2 weeks ago loving it so far, the only thing that bothers me are the constant reboots for no reason.
it was a bug or it happens even now?
does this still happen? Thanks
Wifi is always on
It still happens, I've had mines for 7 months. Even after all of the updates, it will reboot randomly if it's in sleep for a while
Read it somewhere when the keyboard is detached it reboots.

So is it good for 3d slicing ?
This would make a gorgeous ebook reader.
Top notch review. I don't know why this didn't make it to India. I use the original one and I can confirm it has gotten much slower over time.
Wondering the same bro, this will be much cheaper than samsung and apple ones
wdym it gets slower over time ? and you said it's not out there in india
did the chromebook duet 5 get slower over time ?
@@tbh_Ayash the original Chromebook gets slower with time is what I meant. Not the 5
