I like seeing just switches instead of a touch screen. I can only imagine how much a proprietary touch screen is to replace later.
That first control panel you showed on the outside is a new style controller for exterior equipment. Landing gear, leveling gear, exterior lights on front , etc.

I love that design everywhere but the bedroom. It seems like they failed designing it. But the rest of it is really nice.

One exception, the bedroom, not sure what to call them, the nightstand or shelves location. I have really short arms that would be a problem for us short people, lol. Other than that it’s great.

i normally don't care for the rear living because the kitchen bleeds into it, it's not it's own designed space but this is excellent

Please include the length in feet of the trailers when you give the specs of the towing and hitch weight. We can never tell by the model number what the length is and most of the time it’s not disclose during the video thanks so much love your videos you do. !

As a full timer that works out of our rig I love the desktop in the slide, I could absolutely use that as a workspace. I hate that it has vents in the floor. No full profile 5th wheel sound have floor vents in my opinion. If I'm gonna pay that much for a rig, get those vents off the floor! With you on not being a fan of the cable slide.
This one blew us away when we saw the sectional and that truss in the ceiling.
I think Keystone makes a good product, finally they put in a decent shower. Currently looking for an upgrade to my travel trailer, this may be it

Looks like it will be a tight squeeze to get in and out of bed.
I like it. Floor plan is great. Would like to have had more info on the unit though. How long is it? Dry weight? Height? Cost?
i can't say it's really a "new" floorplan, it's more like a redesigned floor plan
So much nice to say about this floor plan. Windows! Windows! Windows! Office/dinette space -- love it (wish I had one). Huge sofa - ho hum. No theater seating/recliners -- shame, shame! Floor vents -- hate them! Great kitchen/pantry. King size bed -- I know it's required, but I personally would prefer a queen or standard size bed so I could actually walk around to make up the bed or to access storage areas. I'm guessing: $125,000+ MSRP. Very nice. Lou from Georgia.
If they had option to swap out the bar seating to a u dinette that woild be cool. Also the coat storage needss to be behind a door.
Have always been a huge fan of Montana 5’rs since my parents bought their first one back in like… 2004ish… It was the model with the sliding glass door with rear entertainment, loved it! Made it a first true’ish 2 bedroom in my opinion. I mean solid WOOD and GLASS door? They could seriously learn to do something like that again. For privacy it could not be beat, but ya it would ruin the open “air” style of this rig. Thanks brother, another excellent video!

I looked up the floor plan and the section that opposes the bar stool slide is a fold out bed.

Great review and video JD. I really like this floor plan. I agree with you regarding the shelves above the bedroom side windows, in my opinion, they’re too high to accommodate a CPAP. Not sure why they couldn’t build out a lower side shelf and cabinet on the slide, at least on one side of the bed. Is it a necessity to have a king size bed? Not for me. I’d rather have a queen size bed to allow more room around the perimeter of the bed which would allow space for the suggested shelf and side cabinet.
Interesting floor plan, trying to decide how much I like it. I currently have a '22 3855BR (mid bunk), couple of thoughts.
1-In the bedroom, looks like they went to a cable system instead of the Schintek like I have. While I have not had any issues with mine, I have heard of multiple issues, not sure if they are legit or not, so they changed either because of that or cost issue.
Also, I'm a big fan of the shelves on top of the windows, a great place to keep phones, glasses & such overnight.
2-In the bathroom I have the bowl sink that rests on top of the counter, for me it works better, have more space below, & I'm tall so it works better for me. Also, with that shower head set-up, would be curious of the water usage, especially if dry camping.
Overall a good looking rig, glad to see them changing things up a bit.

I like this floorplan much better than what you normally see, but don’t like floor vents, especially directly under your feet at the couch. I’d rather have a dinette where the desk thing is as I prefer a large table area as it has multiple uses. This is one of, if not the largest sectionals Ive seen in a 5th wheel. I don’t care for the bedroom as I really like to see nightstands, not shelves up above the windows. There was only one drawer in the kitchen which is okay, but prefer more. Exterior storage was nice.
I noticed the overhead, horizontal side to side structural support on the ceiling made to look like wood to compensate for the structural loss from all those huge windows near where the kitchen meets the living room.

I like the floor plan. I really like the big sectional sofa as it gives enough room for two adults to lay down. Not a fan of recliners. And the little breakfast bench / office bench is fantastic! Also worth mentioning is this is definitely meant for towing with a 1 ton truck. I would bet the pin weight is pushing, if not exceeding, 3000 lbs.
Are there any cup holders on the reclining part of the sofa or a floating table available? Also how does the sofa party if that enormous slide work?
I saw in the kitchen where the slide out goes under the cabinets that back up to the sofa....interesting concept.
Would be nice to see this floor plan on a bigger camper. Add a 2nd slide for a dinette and an opposing slide in the bedroom.
What do you do with the sofa when the slides are in?

Another issue I see, and not next this particular rv, is the slideout with the kitchen island that tucks into slide out. I’ve seen more than one island drawer/cabinet damaged when opening the slideout and not realizing that the drawer/door opened slightly while traveling down highway.
If you buy an 2024 rv with the island tucked into the slideout, make sure the drawers/doors are closed before opening slideout. I’ve seen busted cabinets, busted countertops, and busted drawers on 3 new rvs I delivered. 1st time was whoops! Second and third time I warned dealership and they still broke stuff. Now I won’t let them inside without me there to stop them and educate.
Why don’t you recommend pulling behind 5th wheel
I do like the wrap-around couch, but I don't like the narrow hallway by the kitchen or the tall table so far away from the kitchen. My legs are too short for those types of tables; they are uncomfortable, and I want a real table. It needs a slide by the kitchen.
You had me until you said cable slide. I am out. I am most likely going to purchase a Brinkley.

O love this floor plan but I'm surprised that it doesn't weigh more for that size. Do you think a srw 3500 or will you need a dually to tow this Montana.
Hey JD, I don't think you address this or mentioned it. But with the couch and the L cabinet kitchen. How does that slide close and open? Just it simply pull and push the couch with the slide? Does the cabinets go under the other cabinets when the slide comes in? I think there would be some design to solve that issue with the couch, but I am not seeing it. Would be bad to slide that couch in and out on the floor every time.
I could see that as full time for one or two people.
Cable slides are a no for me. But the floorplan is impressive!
WTH, I haven’t seen your reviews for a minute, but you used to walk through and show things. This review was like you was trying to get all of your steps in before dinner time.
It's at an RV show, so people are trying to get in the RV. I have a very limited time to review them.
So where do u eat? Not crazy about the couch being right up against the counter.
Like the floor planned. What I want to know why numbers for RV is on driver's side is because that's where where you hook up the water, gray water, black water and power is?
It's so DOT can see it.
For police officers and bridge attendants to be able to check the weights against the vehicle data plate that is also on the drivers side. Police officers approach vehicles from the drivers side traditionally.

Nice floor plan. I would like to have seen Keystone extend the camp side slide and extend that bar another couple of feet and maybe put in a 2-chair dinette table. This would give more workspace for those that work on the road and an alternate place to sit and eat.
Beautiful, but if I could be a little critical…. I wish the industry would bring the backsplash all around the stove areas. Also with this unit; while it is great to sit around with family and friends to watch tv on a rainy day, there is no table to play cards on. You’ll have to have another table to that sort of thing on a rainy day since there is no dinette. Very beautiful however.
I thought that same thing. I figured a lightweight table from Costco would fit easily under the bed or in basement storage. Love the workspace and the “snuggle up” couch 😊!
