  • The electronic stability program (ESP®) supports the driver in nearly all critical driving situations. It comprises the functions of the antilock braking system (ABS) and the traction control system, but can do considerably more. It detects vehicle skidding movements, and actively counteracts them. This considerably improves driving safety.

      Bosch designed it but more specifically an employee called Anton van Zanten spearheaded this invention.

    Never forget Bosch were the first to introduce this technogly and 15 years later their invention was made mandatory on all cars. In really old cars 20 years + its mostly just German cars and luxury cars which feature this technology.

    Very informative. But with so much low views, people should learn safety details first before buying cars. Dont forget the FD2 air bag scene

    Unfortunately some of these yaw sensors are prone to failure and very expensive to replace if you can even find one. For example, Bosch 0 265 005 264 for the 2006 NC Miata. $500 from Mazda.

      Every single car made after 2009 in the UK and Europe and lots of cars from the 2000s have it. In the 90s some German cars had it and thats about it since it was Invented by Bosch who work with the German car companies.

    Amazing Presentation 👍👌👏
    Wish Government of India made ESP mandatory for all New & Current in Production Cars sold in India from 2021 onwards 🙏
    How much would it cost to put ESP in Maruti Alto (for e.g.)🤔

      It's getting stricter by the day. At least we have two airbags, sensors and abs now. Most cars now offer ESP as standard

    • @whocares2465
      @whocares2465 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most cars already have ESP as a standard

    • @JohnDoe-bd5sz
      @JohnDoe-bd5sz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@whocares2465 In less developed parts of the world, you can still get cars that does not even have ABS.
      In Europe a LOT of these safety systems are either mandatory or about to be mandatory.
      This is also why cars in Europe for example is a LOT more expensive than in India.
      But even without ABS / ESP and so on, if someone buys a car instead of riding a moped, the safety of the driver is increased dramatically, even with no safety systems in the car, and i bet that India and other less developed countries will also eventuelly get to a point where theses systems will be so inexpensive that they will just fit them to all vehicles.

    • @m1rza162

      no, you cant, it needs to come from the factory on car

    • @AshikJonathan
      @AshikJonathan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No

    • @richardjirsak4463
      @richardjirsak4463 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      no, you cant buy it. It comes straight from the producer. it might be a possibility to take it from the same car type with more equipment or the same car type with a younger production time. as I can see it, ABS already has four independet pipes, one connection to every wheel. ESP also needs it. maybe its possible to exchange the abs-Box with a esp-box. but I really dont know if its possible. but dont make stupid things. it have to stay a safety system. ABS is already a big difference to no abs. general advice: look at your tires. to buy premium tires is a better way to improve the safety. or to be honest: safety trainings in driving to avoid common mistakes. so: in the calculation of safety in car driving dont forget good tires and general the driving behaviour.

    Hello!
    I'm from Uzbekistan!
    As I see and I come to the decision as before others: there is no ideal system to do make dreams come true.
    When you show in your 3d system you're showing only car with accident of box and there is no any car on the others lines. Your showing is absolutely doesn't considering that by this accident if ESP needs to go second line like left or right: its not considering that in this line could be comes in minimum circumstanses a car otherwise line of cars with two lines? I think that if there are cars double sides it better to deal with boxes...
    I think your testing system is not modern and more of freak information!
