It's a video that is wildly unorganized random thoughts about minecraft. I was kind of random about these minecraft thoughts but that is a okay in my opinion. I don't have a boss! You can't fire me!
I maybe should have had more structure in here but I think I made some solid enough jokes where it can stand up on its own though :) sold out pretty hard this video though lol going to take a sponsorship break after this for a little while. I feel like you guys earned it.
There's a part in the video where I screen cap the suggested page and trending page and there's like TommyInnit and Jschlatt and JaidenAnimations in there so I guess you can see what the youtube algorithm wants me to watch. Very Pochamp.
Minecraft is the game I have played most and I love it so this video was more or less self indulgent for me. I hope it makes you laugh at least once.
I made a highschool presentation about minecraft and I got a good grade but probably only because the teacher felt sorry for me.
I love the cozy minecraft rain and listening to it inside my house. It is so comfortable.
The Allay is the new minecraft mob that won minecraft live vote! I voted for the Allay because he is more helpful even though the copper golem was really cute.

Funny that "thing a compass always points to" actually got added. And I think minecraft manhunts actually use that mechanic (as in, the compass says "lodestone compass" as it points to the runner) but rig it with a datapack or something because it unfortunately can't be slipped into someone's pocket to stalk them (and if it could they'd just be able to throw it away).
All the stuff that he listed already exists. X ray- is a third party client. Earmuffs- just lower your hostile mob sounds, hot air balloon- elytra, tracking necklace- lodestone.

Elytra is like the hot air balloon, the Lodestone is like the necklaces tracker, and for the earmuffs there is a sound setting for only mobs noises. Still would be cool to have items for this stuff

i vaguely remember being about like 3 years old (roughly about 2010-2011) and my uncle introduced me to minecraft for the first time. i remember the torches had this thing where you could hover over them and turn them off and on. it's a really random thing to remember, but honestly that's really the only thing i _can_ remember from back then. i also remember him introducing me to terraria, and that was fun too, but it never stuck with me as much as minecraft did.

okay so I'm guessing a lot of people already pointed this out, but you can put a lodestone down and click a compass on it. This will do exactly what you described with the necklace.

The compass idea already exists. It’s called a loadstone compass. Try it out yourself, just place a loadstone, right click it with a compass, and boom, the compass will lead you to the loadstone!

About the crystal necklace thing
There's a block called a LodeStone that got added in 1.16 and you can right click it with a compass for the compass to always points to that specific block coordinate
You couldn't carry it around but it's still cool
i mean if you do can carry something like that around it would need to update the compass everytime it traveled a block and uhh...

I actually did a middle school science project on the affect of various forms of video games on someone’s hand-eye coordination and it was literally just me playing video games and then doing paper and pencil mazes. Best project I’ve ever done.

There is already a block that you can link a compass to called the “lodestone”. Although you can’t track players or mobs with it.

Im fairly certain the devs said that they're trying to incentivize people to not strip mine.
Their addition of the deep slate and expanding the underground in the caves and cliffs update seems to me like they're building on the idea of caving and not digging out the bottom of the map, which I fully support.
I used to strip mine all the time and get loads of metals and precious gems but it was never fun, but now I go caving for all of my materials and it's much more engaging
They don't really want to deincentivize strip mining, what they're really trying to do is give more incentive to cave mine.
They're actually still making sure strip mining is viable by making ores slightly less commonly exposed to air

So the world generator essentially runs generation twice for them

Lierally everything he suggested exists in the game with similar mechanics other than the goggles. We have the option to lower mob noise, Elytras for flight, and Lodestones which can be used to program a compass to go to that lodestone.
I like how practically all his Minecraft ideas are in the game already.

What he suggested basically gave me the impression of, beta X-ray cheats, the volume slider, flying redstone machines, and lodestones.
They added the necklace ideas as a load Stone you can use it by placing it down and clicking on it with the compass!

Yeah, I feel like the only one that made sense was the xray glasses.
If you're too poor for an elytra you could always just travel on nether roof. (If you hate looking at scenery and instead prefer the look of tv static)
Or you could use a horse too
But you cant put a lodestone on a horse, dog, cat, bird or yourself so that’s sad
