Andy, may I be the one that tells you that online tests for mbti are in fact very inaccurate. Not only do questions limit your options for answers very vegue, but it also doesn't calculate personality the actual way. True mbti bases itself in something called "cognitive functions" wich can be summarised by Si: organization Se: adaptavility NI: insight Ne: abstractivity Ti: logic Te: goals Fi: moral compass Fe: empathy Each personality holds their functions by dominant, auxiliary, terciary and inferior. (For example, INTPs are Ti-Ne-Si-Fe respectively) Many people with experience in mbti will recommend one studies the topic by oneself and decides to chose what they are via self discovery. Wich imo is the most fun part of mbti
Just from the 1st minute of the video alone I already predicted that you're also an INTP😭. And because of your ADHD video im self-diagnosing(not self-medicating) myself to have ADHD also! Now that I relate to you so much I need to finish all your vids rn😭.
exactly, mbti it's a total different thing, it's not what 16personality says, we're talking about cognitive funtions which r "TE TI FE FI SE SI and NE NI" basically a person has all of this funtions but one generally is used more then the others. To know the mbti you need 4 of them the dominant, the auxiliar the third and the inferior. It seems complicated but it's not that much but still, it's not what 16 personalities makes you believe: the example that you made.
The best way to do the 16 personalities test is to not actually dwell on the questions but just go on your initial instinct even if that instinct is based on an old memory 😊
@@ver_nick 16p is not based on cognitive functions so the results are not reliable. This causes a lot of mistypes in the MBTI community. This is why it‘s a better idea to not take the test; as it might confuse you.
I like to watch his videos with my brother hahaha, we relate to his other video called 'sisters' His videos are the best, i want to be an animator soon! i took animation for college hahaha
Pseudoscientific useless garbage, it tells you as much about yourself as a buzzfeed "what kind of bread are you" quiz but takes itself way too seriously.
I mean, Andy said he completely broke down when he was scared for his dog - and don't get me wrong, I would too, and I think almost anyone with a dog would. But he also did keep a clear head and got help and saved her. And I think that's way more admirable honestly, to be able to do what needs to be done despite the panic. good job andy, your pup is lucky to have you and I'm glad she's ok ❤
Yes, very admirable. I think why he felt mixed about that question was because when he "broke down" for his dog, it was definitely his inferior Fe function kicking in, before his dominant Ti took over the situation to have clear thinking. And probably his auxiliary Ne that even thought of the possibility that the raisins could be the reason his dog was throwing up. Have a good day! ~ Ana

Personality types are fun on paper, but far from realistic, as in, literally an hour later someone could be in a different mood and they get a different personality type, which means that's not their personality, it's their character/s, the way someone appears to behave at certain times, which obviously differs greatly. Personality is the total pattern and reactivity of shifts in character, the more stress someone goes through, often the more pronounced these characters get, until you end up with something like dissociative identity disorder, where someone's brain will actively try and remove or change memories of the other characters in their head, but mentally healthy individuals will have these cycles too, and some (including me), can even document these different characters that revolve around a central sense of self.
Personally I find attempts to put everyones personality into boxes is stupid. You can have adjectives for personalities, but that's all that's required
Yea, actual mbti is not even about personality, it's more about typical decision making patterns people may follow. Personality is too complex to be boxed like that
of course there are billions of people and all these people cant just fit in several classes - but some people are not emotional at all and can be recognized much easier. there are some basic titles and as long as you are not in the middle, you can fit to one of them with combination of these topics. the key point is, you have to answer the situation not by how you think its right to answer, but what you do in reality. i try to meet new people, i try to hang out with a few good friends - but in fact im more introverted than i might look or how social i try to be. surely it all depends on the persons mental health. some people are mentally sick and they dont even know about it until they get serious trouble
The big 5 is a much better personality indicator simply because it acknowledges the changes and variables that an individual can go through in their life.
@@justanxious9447 yes, my highest percentage was on openness, and i can say, that at least when i'm comfortable (when i took the test), i am very open to new experience, but overall never seem that agreeable, my lowest percentage
@@Muhluri it’s less about the amount of symptoms you have and more about the severity of them. Lots of people will enter a room and forget what they went in there for, but for me and many others it’s a daily thing. But hey, no harm in checking it out.
While watching your channel I found more and more similarities between interests and stuff and now it makes even more sence considering the personality type
Now since you know you have ADHD. Being calm in super stressful situations IS an ADHD thing. The brain is stimulated in such a perfect way, you can think clearly in those situations where most would be freaking out
I absolutely love how people in the comments go like "OMG I'm that type too". Even if the answers to the questions could lead to any kind of reasonable conclusions, the fact that you're self-reporting means they have no scientific merit whatsoever. We all have massive biases, blind spots and insecurities that we're in denial about. For the vast majority of people they're opinions of themselves would differ compared to what their families or friends would say about them. All you get from these online personality tests is the answer to what you yourself think about yourself. That said, great video and as someone who has recently been told to get tested for ADHD I can relate to a lot of your experiences.
As an MBTI nerd I feel the need to point out that 16 personalities is actually a Big 5 personality test that then transfers to the MBTI label system so take it with a heavy grain of salt. There’s not many free test that can get the correct MBTI it requires much more research then “on a scale of 1 to 5…” *cough* Ok I’ll leave now
I don't know man, I paid for the full MBTI and I feel like it wasn't nearly as accurate as the 16 Personalities test. I was sort of hoping for career advice as well, and instead I wasted like $80.
PSA for today, Mustard is also very toxic to dogs. Which means anything with mustard/mustard seed in it. Typically if your dog is vomiting it up they’ll be fine but if the don’t they can die after ingesting it! Also Awesome video ❤
I took the test so many times it always gave me INTP but as I studied the cognitive functions, I found out I'm actually an INFP. Lol. So the more you get into it the more you find out about yourself. The test sucks and are almost never accurate.
@@gens_0uuuuuu Well, that is incorrect. The person who commented above is correct, the cognitive functions for INTP and INFP are quite different, even if they are one letter off. Myers Briggs is more than just the letters-- it's cognitive functions too.
yeah, the test is some weird version of the Big Five personality typing and Cognitive functions, and it doesn't work at all nor is logical, it's really good you did more research and found out about cognitive functions!
It's possible you could be a dual type, given the discrepancy. I'm an INTP and INFP, also informally known as INFT-P. But yes, the test shown in the video is quite flawed, as it doesn't really take into account the different nuances and finer details of one's personality or thought processes that can affect their answers or perception of self. (Might delete this later, as I don't feel comfortable commenting on a video with high traction, but felt my contribution to this thread appropriate and hopefully insightful.)
@@cloveraev No, I think it's part of the actual MBTI test, which you have to pay for, but I could be wrong about that, as I got that information from people who paid for it. Never used it myself, so take it with a grain of salt.
3:53 well in that situation I see why you'd panic. There is a difference in a situation where your life is put in danger by another individual and a situation where you put someone in danger. But yeah raisins/grapes are terrible for dogs, which is also why we don't really have grape ice cream made with real grapes.
@@edex59 I also do believe that one of the guys from Ben & Jerry's tried to make grape ice cream and succeeded by using the skins. He did that to impress a girl. She gave a spoonfull to her dog and it died on the spot.

Buzzfeed quizzes in a nutshell
exactly, mbti it's a total different thing, it's not what 16personality says, we're talking about cognitive funtions which r "TE TI FE FI SE SI and NE NI" basically a person has all of this funtions but one generally is used more then the others. To know the mbti you need 4 of them the dominant, the auxiliar the third and the inferior. It seems complicated but it's not that much but still, it's not what 16 personalities makes you believe: the example that you made.
It's when they use certain words that I hyper focus on....

At first I thought he was going to be an INFP but once he said “Can’t use what’s not there” I automatically changed my answer to INTP. 😂
exactly!!!
As an MBTI nerd I feel the need to point out that 16 personalities is actually a Big 5 personality test that then transfers to the MBTI label system so take it with a heavy grain of salt. There’s not many free test that can get the correct MBTI it requires much more research then “on a scale of 1 to 5…”
*cough*
Ok I’ll leave now

4:27 PLS WHY IS THIS ME-
“What if they find out I’m weird?” 💀💀
Also why is Andy’s personality literally the exact same as mine lmao
Because that’s #RELATABLE
@@faemansvarietychannel i genuinely have never heard of this, is this some weird sub-thing to 16personalities people made

The fact that andy has the same personality type as me and also has adhd is actually explaining alot (why i relate to hin so much)
3:53 well in that situation I see why you'd panic. There is a difference in a situation where your life is put in danger by another individual and a situation where you put someone in danger. But yeah raisins/grapes are terrible for dogs, which is also why we don't really have grape ice cream made with real grapes.
Grape icecream doesn’t exist because grapes are mostly juice and so you just get a grape/milk ice pop or something like that instead of icecream
