    exactly what I needed to see, explained expertly, and will become my "go-to" action - I know when I've made a good swing and when I've made a bad swing, but I couldn't repeat it. This gives me the core definition of the difference! I've just "discovered" you. Great, easy to understand, very effective, good style - congratulations! You make the grade as my "go-to" video resource!

    Kerrod I have only recently found your videos & like all the other subscribers here your lessons are so good. This lesson in particular is a gem describing the critical difference between backswing (& downswing) pressure & mass shifting. This action alone is changing my swing from a weak fade to great face contact & length.
    Many thanks & your content is superb.

    Good video. This is my main problem. When I get to the top of my backswing, every fiber of my being wants to swing the club down with my arms instead of completing my weight shift and letting my legs and hips do the work. I've been trying to fix this for months with very little progress. Any other tips or drills you can offer?

    Does this tip work with the driver ? You are using a iron. The club does not go back as far with a short iron. With driver the swing goes back further. (Parallel) how do you get back down when your hands are hinged at the top with long iron or driver. ⛳ . 🏌️‍♂️

  • @jameskaiser7111
    @jameskaiser7111 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Great this is a recentering drill. Of COURSE, the PRO recenters but the real issue for timing is the PRO also FLOAT LOADS in the back swing - he lets the swing mature going back by FLOAT LOADING the swing meaning, he goes back with not much wrist cock or lag, and then at the top dramatically wrist cocks or FLOAT LOADS - WHILE HE IS RECENTERING. This is a twostep process that gives the golfer, time to get through the shot with lag (and recentering) and ultimately shaft lean to compress the ball. You need to teach this. The Dr Kwon STEP RECENTERING DRILL is only part of this, FLOAT LOADING (wrist cock and letting the club head go up with the hands dropping and the same time - making the head feel like it is weightless or FLOATING) is even more important. As long as you can float load, you will have SPEED - this is more important and the pros do both - your only teach half of the process and missing, IMO the most important aspect of buying time in the backswing and start of the downswing.
