    Just discovered Kerrod golf. Been working on “hidden rotation” and went out and shot a 75, 5 shots below my handicap. My entire issue has been steepness. Hard to believe this could be true, but simply using my core to start my swing and achieving more depth with the club made an instant difference. Pulled or open face shots went away instantly when I was no longer coming in so steep and stalled. Honestly, I now only work on this lesson, the hidden rotation lesson, and SuperSpeed sticks to improve range of motion. It has been a great recipe for rapid improvement. Alex Riggs is also great. Have seen him hit shots. Every golfer should watch this lesson!

    Well done. Too bad there wasn't more description on what part of the left foot to land on. That has to be important.

    Great tip! The missing link. I'm now crushing the ball. Some time fairway, Sometimes woods. When it goes to the woods its bye bye ball. I knock the crap out of it. I hit it so hard the other day a couple of times in the fairway the ball was crying asking me why did you hit me so hard. lol Practice,Practice ,Practice. Now I know what to practice Thanks K and Al. And Trump. Trump da man!

    Does this sequence apply to maybe 50-60 yard pitches? But just not go back as far? In other words finesse shots?

    It is interesting that in the practice swing your head drops a lot but when you actually hit the ball it drops very little. WHY?

    Would you say the shift to the leading side comes from your trailing right side (pushing the right foot or from the leading side ? Thanks

    • @kerrodgraygolf
      @kerrodgraygolf  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The shift starts in the trail side 👍

    So.... I think what's misunderstood in teaching is that without this move EVERYTHING else way more difficult. So some teachers focus SOO much on what they see the hands and arms doing... they almost forget how much of an influence this is... As an example, once I started do this (like 100 times - I still warm up with it), my ball striking changed significantly.
    My hand positions in the backswing became easier, balance was easier, staying centered was easier and so on.
    Bravo! Without the pressure from left foot into the ground (diagonally) your hips simply spins out and your arms take over. It's the true secret to the swing.

    Great stuff! It gets you more centered over the ball,not swaying. The weight goes BEHIND you in to the left leg. Almost as the body follows the club as the club is the weight. Well,at least my swingthought. Thanks!

    Great stuff as always, Kerrod. What’s your take on pushing off and down the trail foot into the lead side instead of “falling” into it? Russell Heritage teaches is this way. Would falling be more consistent?

    • @kerrodgraygolf
      @kerrodgraygolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! It's the same thing but a different feeling.

  • @malcolmparker2243
    @malcolmparker2243 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Kerrod,
    When you talk about rotation and getting your depth with the arms then loading into the front foot or the feel of falling from there ! I'm interested in the hip rotation,
    Would l be correct in thinking it that after the right leg has extended pushing the right hip back left leg now with weight on it
    as you swing the upper body rotates but the left leg straightens to push back the left hip as the right leg returns is creates the
    hip turn or as we call it rotation, ( but it not just spin out of the lower body)

    • @kerrodgraygolf
      @kerrodgraygolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is correct, malcolm parker!
