Hi I'm not a car enthusiast and I only watched this because I'm thinking of leasing this car. I haven't seen your reviews but I can say that this was really informative and I gave it a 👍
Dave, you do the best vlogs I've seen. I was looking into crossovers last year and your vlogs/reviews are what made my decision easier. You pay attention to detail, and even edit the video to give all the info possible. Good job. I'll be looking into crossovers again next year, but your review/vlog on 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe has already determined my choice. I have a Sonata and really like Hyundai, but the way you showed off the Santa Fe just sealed the deal, even though it'll be next year, I already know I'll end up getting the 2018, no review necessary. Keep doing what you do. I understand if it's not as lucrative as you want, based on views of TH-cam, but you do good work, so even if you just do vlogs when you can, you gotta keep doing them. Wish the best for ya. Later.
I like both. There is value in the Vlogs, as they better represent the everyday usage of the vehicle. However I also love a slick and clean review. I think Both you'll know what to choose with different vehicles.
Nice, Dave - and small world... we worked for a very brief time during your time in Honolulu. Nice work on these reviews... really liked the '16 KIA Sorento to Seatlle vid - picking-up our gently used '16 Sorento V6 this weekend! Good luck w/ these reviews...really well done.
I love the vlogs and love the reviews but it does get a tad too long of a video when it's all combined. My suggestion is to have a vlogging video for the week you are in the vehicle and then a separate video with just the review that way it's not too long....but I am definitely a fan!!! Thanks for all your hard work!
I enjoyed the Vlog, but appreciate your focused car reviews which get into more of the details about a vehicle. I would like to see more of the nighttime footage covering interior and exterior lighting features. This is often not captured in reviews, but something I'm always trying to research when purchasing. You are one of the few car review channels I follow faithfully and my first go-to when researching a particular vehicle. The Vlog is a great opportunity to get to know "Dave" better, which is always cool. Perhaps a separate channel as others have suggested to see if it's really worth the time and effort required. Keep up the great work!
If you are really dedicated to doing vlogs, I'd suggest making a second channel. You are risking alienating a lot of people. There are already plenty of well-established car-guy vlog channels. It's a crowded space. I prefer your normal reviews.
There's always room for fresh voices. Noone gets alienated because they ad content. There's no rule against adding whatever content you see fit as long as you are providing the information your fans like. If you don't care for his vlogs, don't watch them. I like his style and I'll watch any content he produces. I'm sure plenty others agree. I guess next you're going to tell McDonald's if they add ice cream to the menu they're gonna alienate customers. I prefer whatever method he uses to get the information out whether that be simple reviews or involved vlogs.
Love this review.. you aren't trying to push a car towards me, I get to see a personality who is showing what it's like to live with this car... freaking perfect.. to be honest, I like you more as a person because I got to get to know you as a person. Genius review, haven't seen anything like this.. subscribed!
If I have any voting power I would say that that you should keep doing this method of test drives because it takes the viewer into a deep dive into the vehicle for daily life and our preparation thereof...
I bought a 2012 Honda pilot with 50000km on it and traded it in for a 2017 santa fe xl after 1 month. The VCM was jerky and bogged on the highway at cruising speed, airbag trouble light was coming on periodically and for nearly $30000 was not worth the money! The Santa fe drives smoother, has 40 more hp! with .3 liters less engine more safety features that actually work, all for only $8100 more. Should mention it's an ex rental with 22000km on it. Lots of em out there in BC right now, saved over $8000 from new. Don't let the ex rental thing scare you either, it's not crazy kids driving these things. Ours was in almost immaculate shape. I recommend Maple Ridge Hyundai, they gave me best deal on the pilot, was even almost $100 more than we paid for it including tax?
Great review Dave. I will be taking delivery of a 2016 Santa Fe GLS. Living down in South Florida no need for AWD. Love the roominess and power of this “RIG” Got a great deal with not too many extras on it, however I’m loving that 40 months remaining on the factory warranty. That coupled with the 290hp on this GDI 6 ... oh how sweet it is.
Great review Dave! After watching this video (thoroughly), I did realize that I should've waited for another 6 months before I got my current 2016 Santa Fe Limited AWD with Ultimate pkg (same silver color). Not that mine is completely different than the one you did a review on, it is just 2017 one looks even more luxurious and has more safety features. This video just teased me up. lol. Great stuff!!! Keep up the good work!!!
As per usual a great review. Real world driving. Bought a used one yesterday 2017 Santa Fe, thanks to your reviews of Suvs. I will try to update in the near future how it works out for me.
I just purchased a 1 pre owner 2017 Hyundai santa Fe sport. 25,000 miles. I really like its amazing..WoW. I'm still Leary all the technology of the Vehicle..
LOVE THE FORMAT-- MORE OFF ROAD AND SNOW TEST! - TO CHECK HIGHWAY MPG, GET UP 60 MPH RESET MPG AVERAGE AND DRIVE ON HIGHWAY FOR 30 TO 60 MILES THAT WILL GIVE YOU HIGHWAY MILES - YOU SHOULD SHOW THAT
Thanks. I'm looking at one now. I like both the short and long term (vlog) formats. It's nice to see a short form to get the fast facts and then if interested one can watch a longer form review.
I watch these reviews to fain knowledge about the car. I'm.sorry, but that's what I look for. having a segmented and organized review with key stops "stop talk film" points will likely help you go a long way and find a format everyone will like.
Hi Everyman Driver, you review so many vehicles and this makes your opinion on the passenger experience valuable. I think it is important for you to share comfort riding level, road noise in the interior cabin while driving, and show the available storage, maneuverability, steering and ability to take a u-turn, etc. I don't think it will be necessary for me to climb hills off-road in a vehicle like you do in this video unless I need to escape for my life in a zombie apocalypse.
Hey Shannon- we just purchased one of these yesterday, and we are really impressed. It is incredibly QUIET in this car. When I put the garage door down while sitting in the driveway, you can't even hear the garage door mechanism as it is going down. Road noise is minimal also. This is a very solid car, and immediately noticeable. It is extremely comfortable. You can adjust the seat position (up/down, front to back, lumbar, seat back) and then set that position in one of two presets. Also, the way the seat moves back away from the steering wheel when you turn off the car making it easier to get out, is really nice. You feel like you are in a luxury car in the Hyundai, as opposed to a truck. BTW- easily made a 180 around a fuel pump island with this. Pulled right up to the other side. And with the two furthest back seats down, the "trunk" space is about a 4' x 4' x 30" high area. Feels huge to us.
Kevin Courcey Thank you for your comments. I decided to buy a Hyundai Tucson a week ago. The way the engine feels will take time for me to get accustomed to, but I love it so far. It is just like driving a stick shift without having to use the clutch - quite strange. The turning radius on this vehicle is awesome too. My 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder needs almost three times the room to turn. Because I drove a convertible for 10 years, every vehicle is quiet to me, in comparison. I needed to know how other people feel, hear, and see compared to the newer cars today. It is hard to get a relative measurement of these things when you have been driving a 10 year old convertible for the past decade and I didn't have time to drive them all to find out for myself. I gotta get down the road and keep moving to the next thing on my list. Congratulations on a great purchase for you all! And congratulations to me too I hope.
The AWD button doesn't actually 'Lock' the drive into full-time all-wheel-drive. The button just activates the AWD system... With AWD selected, the drive is put to all 4 wheels from 0 to 30 K/h (18.5 mph). Above 30 K/h, the vehicle reverts back to FWD (Front Wheel Drive) automatically. If the computer senses wheel spin at speed, it will put power to the rear wheels as well as the front wheels. It is an 'On Demand' AWD system. So the word 'Lock' is a tad misleading...
Liked that you showed Night time. Nice touch. Have been looking for a Veracruz replacement and this might fit the bill. Wonder why the captain's chairs vs normal seats....
Hi, just started watching your vlogs... love them. I'm a Acura girl. I have had a RDX and TSX. But right now I'm looking at the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Tucson. Your reviews are very informing and I like what you do. So keep it up. Thanks Teresa Robinson
What would your pick be CX9 Signature or Sante Fe Ultimate?? Mind you Sante Fe is $4000 cheaper and has ventilated seats, panoramic roof, 360 camera, Apple and Android and a few other things that the more expensive CX9 Signature doesn't at $52,000.
I like the Vlog reviews. If they are a lot of work, maybe don't do them for every vehicle you get. I liked the road trip review you did a while back too.
I appreciated the video and would have liked to see a tape measurement of the width and length of the cargo space. Will it carry a sheet of plywood flat? Also, a demo of the 2nd row seats folded.
Dave...I am good with your original style of review so If these vlogs are too much, we will be fine. The santa fe is nice but 16 mpg is not that great for this type of vehicle.
Is more beautiful than the Pilot or the Highlander BUT they are more fuel efficient that the Hyundai. Regarding your work it is excellent and keep doing both, reviews and blogs. Adiós!!

I want one! Ever since I got my 1st Hyundai Elantra and now my 2nd Hyundai! I have been hooked!
I think you are the most complete car reviewer out there. I will definitely share with my social community. I do prefer short and informative reviews.
Hi I'm not a car enthusiast and I only watched this because I'm thinking of leasing this car. I haven't seen your reviews but I can say that this was really informative and I gave it a 👍

Bro you should have more subs, you're so high energy and this is one of your best videos I think
I like both. There is value in the Vlogs, as they better represent the everyday usage of the vehicle. However I also love a slick and clean review. I think Both you'll know what to choose with different vehicles.

Like others said, long videos can be an issue to watch, maybe have a separate video for each day?

More of these videos!!! I like seeing the vehicle used for everyday tasks!
Love the vlog. Keep it coming. I wasn't a Hyundai fan, but you made me a believer. Great job. Look forward to the next one.
Vlogs and Reviews Combined, They're amazing!
VLOG is something different. I don't think anybody else is doing that. I liked it.
Love this review.. you aren't trying to push a car towards me, I get to see a personality who is showing what it's like to live with this car... freaking perfect.. to be honest, I like you more as a person because I got to get to know you as a person. I appreciate it

Your reviews with different angles are awesome :)
Keep the workouts coming too!
Vlog + review + workout = automotive youtube awesomeness
my mom has this car, and wants to get the 2019 model, she has this one in cherry red and its beautiful!
Love the vlog style reviews! Hyundai sure has come a long way!
I bought a 2012 Honda pilot with 50000km on it and traded it in for a 2017 santa fe xl after 1 month. Excellent review! Very informative without a bias. Hope you can continue these blogs.
keep up the car reviews! you make it super easy to understand for the normal car buyer. Thanks very much!
Great review Dave. I will be taking delivery of a 2016 Santa Fe GLS. Living down in South Florida no need for AWD. Great video. I'm having the hardest time deciding between this, a Sorrento, or Durango. Also, what state do you live in? Looks beautiful.
I'm a fan of the video reviews. I would like to hear more of your opinions and comparisons to other vehicles.

I liked it. Definitely more. Why the recent hesitation on off-roading? Did something happen?
Why do they ONLY review the Limited edition of every vehicle? Most people just buy the base model, with or without AWD.
I like these ULTIMATE REVIEWS. please do more!! and yes, please do more blogs!!!
Great video, and appreciate the work put in to make this one.
I watch these reviews to fain knowledge about the car. I'm.sorry, but that's what I look for. having a segmented and organized review with key stops "stop talk film" points will likely help you go a long way and find a format everyone will like.
Informative and Entertaining - I know it takes time and work and you dominate everyone else in quality.
Great review Dave! Keep it up. Really like these videos!
Good with the exception. You should show what control buttons you pressed for off road demonstration
I like this style, but still hope more review about the car; such as Handling, Ride quality, Chasis control, cabin noise, etc.

Dave, I really like this format!
Great info, i want one right now. It will be great if the sales person can tell you about the Vehicle you just presented. OUTSTANDING
JERRY DIXON check car.show/Everymandriver or call 844-765-0610 and talk to an expert.
Dave, you are totally awesome... Please more of the daily vlogs/blogs, showing us your daily routine... but please don't back off the reviews. 🚘
Seeing all the car reviews you do, what is your current daily drive? I believe on a 2014 review it might have been a VW?
We really enjoy your reviews. Thanks for your help as we car shop!
Hi Dave, would love to see some conclusions around this car, especially compared to the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and the Kia Sorento SXL.
What do you recommend
More vlogs Eric. Enjoy your reviews. Done well professional.

Great In-Depth review, keep up the great work!
I really enjoy this format.
Please keep up the good work! I love your vlogs and reviews.
more more, great look into a everyday usage of the car
Liked that you showed Night time. Nice touch. Have been looking for a Veracruz replacement and this might fit the bill. Wonder why the captain's chairs vs normal seats....
Love this vehicle! Will buy one one way or another! LOL Another great review!. Don't stop at all
Hi, just started watching your vlogs... love them. I'm a Acura girl. I have had a RDX and TSX. But right now I'm looking at the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Tucson. Your reviews are very informing and I like what you do. So keep it up. Thanks Teresa Robinson
Nice blog! But I think its too big for a single lady. What u think of 2017 cx5? Subaru crosstek? Need hi ground clearance too
Keep them coming Dave. Great job.
more of this! Great balance between fun and statistics :)

Anthony Macneil go for the Santa Fe. It has more features.
I like the Vlog reviews. If they are a lot of work, maybe don't do them for every vehicle you get. I liked the road trip review you did a while back too.
Love these vlogs, please continue them
I appreciated the video and would have liked to see a tape measurement of the width and length of the cargo space. Will it carry a sheet of plywood flat? Also, a demo of the 2nd row seats folded.

Loved the blog😀😀
I follow many of his review and appreciate the info!!!!
DON'T STOP!
Would you suggest the Mazda CX-9 in the touring trim or the 3 row Santa Fe with all the bells and whistles?
Dave...I am good with your original style of review so If these vlogs are too much, we will be fine. The santa fe is nice but 16 mpg is not that great for this type of vehicle.
Mega review Dave!!
Great review Dave! The Santa Fe seems good but damn the steering wheel looks bland and skinny like cars from the 90s
Great vlog I want to purchase this vehicle or the 2017 Tucson so this was awesome 😎
Nice job Dave.
Appreciated
Big resoect from the UK
Awesome review Dave...
Really liked this type of video although challenging so it seems
I like this video as it covered normal usage
The vlog video / reviews are way different keep it up it’s for sure hard work a job from a job if anything. Just try to market the vlog some 👍
Thanks for the review and night view.
Is more beautiful than the Pilot or the Highlander BUT they are more fuel efficient that the Hyundai.
Regarding your work it is excellent and keep doing both, reviews and blogs. Adiós!!
nice review - thanks for doing it
dude love your vids
You do a great job with reviews and vlogs but the vlogs are too long. Since you can use the same video for both regular reviews and vlogs and just edit them differently, I would recommend offering both and just label the difference in the video description. That way, your view count will rise and those that are not interested in the longer vlogs will still watch your regular reviews.
I say change nothing,. You know how long the video is before you watch it. Video length is listed prominently. His view count has nothing to do with video length. He''s somewhat new to the genre and there are many well established vloggers who do 30+ minute videos. He will gain an audience based on content, style, personality and uniqueness. More more vlogs🤗😅🤔 next do a Ford Explorer platinum because I'm instructed in buying one
great review,keep it up
