You have to hit rock bottom before you start to climb your way out mate. I keep reminding myself where I am and how fortunate I am to be here, most people don't get this opportunity to enjoy life to its fullest and I do feel sorry for the people who are where I was.

Hi Tony, my name is Tony. I’ve also acquired AADV 350. I absolutely love it at the moment where it is crap what you done is something a lot of men dream about I know I like to do it but more situation here. I’m tired but nice to see you enjoying life in a beautiful country, only just connected to your videos. Hope you do more like to follow you round Thailand👴🏻
Keep watching mate, I've only just started. When I start the journey up to Chiang Rai, I'll be seeing more beauty the further north I go. The ADV is fantastic but longer journeys are starting to make my shoulders ache just (just behind my shoulder blades) so I might get some riser bars so I can sit back and relax.
Whilst Tony still has his rose tinted glasses on, he's bang on about many things about Thailand. No.1 is efficiency. They turn up, do some work (with or without protective equipment) and don't leave till it's done, true 24/7 working. Pothole repairs at 2am... normal. I've seen entire Thai roads built (properly, no corners cut) in less time that it takes to fill a pothole in the UK. Even 20 years after travelling in Thailand for six months whenever I see empty roadworks in England I think it's nuts while everybody else still goes 'yeah, that's normal'... It bloomin' isn't.
I don't have rose tinted glasses on mate, I'm genuinely not able to find anything bad about Thailand but I am constantly comparing things to the UK. As you know, it's far more organised and they're old school, they get the job done as quickly as possible. I saw a bloke putting new telegraph cables up the other day, the telegraph pole was so obscured with cables that he couldn't put the ladder against it, the bloke at the bottom was holding the ladder whilst the other one went up it 'freestanding'. Get the job done no matter what the cost is.
@@Vortecks Tony, if you genuinely cannot find any fault with Thailand (yet) you still have those rose tints still on. Every traveller and ex-pat wears them no matter where you go 'in paradise' for a few weeks or months. I'm enjoying the vids because they bring back all the feelings of 'being a newbie' in that amazing country but you're looking at a third world country though a 1st world traveller's eyes with a 1st world sized wallet at the moment. If you had to live on what a Thai earns your view would be a hell of a lot different. Top tip.... Get to know some workers from Lao and Cambodia working in Thailand to send money back to their families. I certainly haven't got a 1st world traveller's wallet mate, I eat street food and I only publish the pretty picture at the moment. Very soon (when I start touring) people are going to see the other side of Thailand and living on nothing, I'm currently spending money on unnecessary things to bring the beauty of Thailand to the masses.
