    This was filmed really really well. I didn't get bored even once during this whole video, watched it from start to finish. Keep up the good work!

    Powder coat on an aerosol can! Great music too. I will have my own one day!!

      Good eye, I was baking the paint on those parts, and did not want the 400 degrees required for powder to damage rubber components and bearing races. The backing plates and sway bar were powder coated, though. Sway bar footage has not been shown yet.

      @@turtlelaboratories So what temp did you have to bake these at?

    • @turtlelaboratories
      @turtlelaboratories  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I baked em at 150 degrees.

      Hi Joey, Was wondering about the poor boy powder coating process. Looks good. Doug, from your much beloved former employer.

      I will see what I can do! The car has been so great since the video, I haven't really had to touch anything on it!

    Awesome Z! I had a blue '73 240z years ago in college. I would to follow your progress on the car. But plan to purchase 1 by next summer or fall! Hope to see more!

    If you want some eye candy in the background at any time just let me know, and I'll bring the little racecar "2002nicorn" over for ya. 😉 lol But, seriously, we need to go for a little drive one day when it's nice! Not just randomly meeting in the Ingle's parking lot. 😕 lol

      I agree, and I will keep your eye candy offer in mind!

    You’re getting really good at these videos! The Nissan Z is a car I have particular love for as the first new car I ever bought for myself was a 2004 Nissan 350Z & I really loved that car. Wish you all the best with this beauty! 🏎💨

    Did you replace the bearing race too? I can't tell if you installed it with the bearing or not at all. I am ordering all this stuff right now too.

    • @turtlelaboratories
      @turtlelaboratories  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually didn't replace any bearings because the ones that came out were good. So I just cleaned, regreased, and popped them back in. Your car may be different, though! Just look them over and make an educated analysis. Worst case, swap them out, because they are cheap!

      @@turtlelaboratories Mine fell apart in my hand! Replaced. Man, I wish I had a damn lift. Getting too old to crawl on the ground.
