Im running brass beadlocks theyre quite heavy and i had greens all around, i noticed they had pretty bad crumple while full crank on descent so im trying now the blues in front and green in rear. Im running proline hyrax tires. Upon taking out the front greens i had in ther i noticed two the center ribs had alredy ripped (i ran the truck twice) i assumed they were maybe too soft. my truck weighs 7lbs 8oz

The most problem is airmoisture in your servos,i even service my waterproof servos every deep fordging run ! You can seal your trucks electronics but your axels and gearbox never sealed 100%.I run every weekend in rivers and trust me gears can never be sealed 100% ,you need constant servicing too prevent rust on your bearings ,gears axellshafts.Dry warm store place is even important too dry out for the next weekend run. I think driving your truck every day is better than drive only at the weekends. Doesent waterrepelling dont harm the naturel inviroment? I grease my gears with Vaseline and Weapon oil (Balistol) .I even try change all ballbearings in too Brassbearings.

That is awesome. Absolutely beautiful build. You have some very nice equipment, and the skill to use it. An amazing shop. As impressed as I am with the bike, I am almost as impressed with your sand blaster. You must have a powerful, large compressor. I tinker in my shop, and my sand blaster always struggles. I need way more air.

lol imma watch this later but no RC is waterproof, splash proof at best, connectors are not sealed, bearings will rust, greases gets washed out, I would be most worried about the battery shorting haha, no gaskets, seals, etc.

Very nice bike but the tyre's look massive, 1.75 -1.95 tyres work far better for flat. With the 1.75 being faster for pump and spin riding, 1.95 are more stable for scuffing tricks and slower spins(Mid school). Your investigation is correct, and now you know the reason behind tyre sizes for riding flat😎

I have the Green inserts & the Blue the softer Greens climb steeper solid rock better for sure I think I’ll try Green in the front because of the overdrive & Green in the back for side hilling.

I have 2 Ridgerunners and 1 Ridgerock. Not stock. Put portal upgrade kit and metal gear kit on the Ridgerock. In the process of putting metal gear kits in the Ridgerunners.

bought the v2 and built it with kinda the same electronics. next paycheck is gonna be lipo and initial setup. what are your thoughts on turnigy (red hardcase one)? they are really cheap over here

The Original GT Mallet Stem would have been a nicer touch. It has the logo engraved and is a much better stem that the one in the video. As well as the 4 piece handlebar.

Thinking one of those 500 dollar jobs is any better or responds any differently from this 150 dollar job (still ridiculous), then we just discovered the entire problem with these RC companies thinking their brand of plastic and cheap electronics is worth 2 and half times the already to expensive "cheap" version. Its all the same plastic and dollar store electronics from Taiwan, not a chunk of frickin gold. 3 and 4 thousand dollar rc cars.. geezus. Ride that delusion while you can. I do have a few, and I let them play money pit for a while, doesnt take many times to wake an adult up out of that kind of frivolousness. Yes, Im pissed that they price this sh_t out of reality

Hey man great video.. Did it take anything smaller than the 1.5 mm tool for any of the screws? I ask because I was trying to get the axle end screws out and my 1.5mm seemed to big lol

Thanks for the pointers, I have two used rigs, a Gen8 and a SCX10ii, I went over them with a fine tooth comb before making the purchases. But yeah, you sometimes never know what you'll find.
