In this guitar lesson you will learn how to play "Take Me Home Country Roads" on acoustic guitar. Country Roads is a great acoustic guitar song that you definitely want to know how to play as a guitar player.
Country Roads has been covered by many artists over the years. It was originally written and performed by John Denver.
Country Roads only has four chords through the verse and one additional chord in the Bridge making it simple to play on acoustic guitar. I will show you the chords you need, but also a simpler more beginner friendly way to play those chords on guitar.
The strumming pattern is a little more complicated, but I will also show you a simplified version of the strumming pattern, so even if you are a brand new beginner on guitar, you will be able to play this song.

I've been learning this song within the past 2 days and played guitar along with the song from a John Denver CD that I have and it's played in the key of A, not G.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, you are correct, it is in the key of A. I mention in the video that you will need to use a capo to play along with the original version using these chords. You would just need to place the capo on the second fret and then use these same chord shapes. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

It's not COUNTRY ROADS GUITAR TUTORIAL instead you're teaching where to put your fingers on a chords. Please change THE TITLE of your video.
