    I recently just mounted and balanced some 275/70/R17 Falken Wildpeaks with 17' Stealth Custom Series Ray 10's on my Tacoma and been loving it ever since! No rub at either!

      What kind of videos? I filmed myself installing my lift a while ago (never posted it though) and plan to film the re-gear + installing this wheel/tire setup, but I'm not sure what people would want to see. As much as I LOVE my 80, the Tacoma seems to be the popular vehicle on my channel

    I have been looking at one of these for the OBX. I have had a Yeti for years, which is great on ice retention, but you need to wrap everything that you don’t want wet. This maybe a great option

    Nice vid! Definitely eyeing to go larger on the 🛞, but with my current set up, there’s going to be some serious plastic cutting involved. Got the Icon 2.5 series & UCA set up as well. Hopefully, that’ll do the trick.

    Looks good but, with the METHOD wheel. the air valve stem sure sticks out a ways & looks fairly vulnerable. Is this going to be an issue when out off road, in rocky areas, for example. With the old TRD wheels, the valve stem was somewhat less exposed & even protected a bit.

    I am running a similar setup on my 21 OR. I have 285/70/17 on the TRD wheels with +4 offset and I don't rub on the street but when I take it off road even something slightly bigger than a speed bump will start to rub. It looks like you will definitely have that same issue off road

      @WilliamSilvaOfficial ปีที่แล้ว

      Im running 265/70r17 on the TRD Wheels +4mm offset and im also having rubbing issues, but im not sure if it has to do with the fact that im still on stock height and have a DV8 steel midbumper. Im waiting till the end of the month so i can get a replacement plastic midbumper and see how much trimming I have to do. Many people say the run the 265/70 with this wheels without any rubbing but im not sure if they do any off roading.

      After driving with these for a week... I'm sold on the 265 setup on my Tacoma for now. I love the way the truck looks with this setup, but 265s are more optimal for what I use my truck for + I don't want to deal with a re-gear on my Tacoma right now haha. Funny enough though, I am in the middle of re-gearing my Land Cruiser in preparation for these wheels/tires (it'll need it!)

      I am in the very slow pay as I go process for the 285. In all my research I will be going the 529 gears for the following two reasons. First I will not be on highway with speed limit above 55. ( Oregon coast, primarily west of I 5 ) Second if I want to go bigger, knowing that I will 😂 529s will be there to carry me.

    The nice thing about having the same bolt pattern on both trucks is that you can switch the tires between the two trucks whenever you want. Or put the smaller tires on the new rims. It's a win-win. The big lights on the Landcruiser will give it a very Australian look.
