I changed my own pads today, it had no springs on the clip things when I first looked 👀 I noticed but idk the consequences of that, but i put new hardware on that had everything but i was thinking like why tf does it not have any to begin with? Idk if the shop i went to took them off or wtf because they should have informed me or sumn i would imagine, but i fixed it myself thanks to this video and also some help from my mom to be there to watch make sure i did things right and safe, it was a very fun “ tiring “ learning experience i will remember it forever!!! Cant wait to turn my 2016 Nissan rogue S into a rally racing car I definitely need new ball joints tho 😢 but all in due time!! Happy learning yall!!!
Awesome videos. They are very helpful and great because you include the torque specs and proper cleaning and lube application. One thing though, by all means, please don't use red thread locker on bolts because it is permanent and requires heat to remove it. Blue threadlocker is what should be used on anything that would require subsequent maintenance but would still require a firm hold.

Do the clips for the brake pads need to go on a specific side or are they the same size for the top and bottom that sit in the groove of the bracket that hold the pads in place?
Anyone else have some sort of cover over the back of their pads. Where the caliper and brackets touch. They seem to slip right over the entire back of the new pads, im assuming it some kinda sound deadening plate. Theres actually 2 thin sheets. One is a steel clip that bights the pad, the inner bit seems to be some kinda padding?
How can I get torque specs for a 2020 rogue without a Haynes ? I hear the Haynes manual is outdated. It looks as if they only changed 2008-2015 on the front cover to 2008-2020.
@@TRQ It certainly seems straight forward. It’s easy enough. Question: Re-pressurizing the brakes. Any bleeding needing to be done? Or simply pumping the brakes to reset them?
if its a 2019 or 2020 it is likely to have the electronic parking brake assist attached to the caliber, scan tool is needed to put the brakes into "service mode"

The caliper slide pins are 14mm, the caliper bracket bolts are 19mm.
I’ve done this on so many cars but I always like watching a video on a car I haven’t done it on before. Plain and simple thank you!
Excellent video, no wasted time turning the parts over & over this way and that. Thorough complete and brief.
Very thorough and straightforward. No extra comments or unnecessary info. Thanks
+Scott Koole Thanks for watching our video!
Torque specs
122 ft/lbs for caliper bolts
25 ft/lbs for slider bolts to caliper
Wheels are 83ft/lbs for the lug nuts
Hands down felt like you was right next to me talking me through this. Thank you.
One of the best instructors I have watched on the tube! Very knowledgeable and experienced! Easy to understand and to the point. Thank you!
You could not have done any better on this video. I know nothing about cars and had no problem fixin it in 20 minutes
Well done ! You should explain more and show how the springs works with the pads.

Best video on brake pads I saw on TH-cam.
Excellent content and thank you for sharing the torque values, a must for a serious job.
This is amazing!! The precision is ridiculously impressive. Also, being detailed is really helpful. Thank you 🙏
Great video, very well done.. Would be good to mention if the front and back are exactly the same. Thanks
Very good - thanks. One comment - in the intro - he SAYS "replace wheel bearings"
Great Video, I've done this before but I always like to refresh my memory. This is as clear and concise as possible.
This bloke is very good at his job, very informative, thanks :)
Dude, awesome job. Straight up no bs. Quick, slick & sick
Excellent video, all repair videos should be like this.
Nice, But why Red thread lock? That's for permanent installs?
that's for if you have badass air impact guns when u go to service the brakes again lol.
Does the pin with the rubber gromit go on the top or bottom?
Perfect presentation without the fluff.
Nice video. I guess there's no need to bleed the brakes?
This is what I call Perfection! Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Short and clear. No time wasted.
Thanks for this helpful video. Now I can use it for my Nissan Rogue.
That's the proper way to do a break job and not a "pad slap". But good luck trying to get any garage to do it this way, they simply will not do it.
Video was pretty good but never a mention of what size socket was used for the slider bolts nor the caliper bracket bolts. 🤔.
How long should this job take me for the front axle?
Nice video, appreciate the torque specs.
Do some people need socket sizes? Is it that hard to figure out?
First video I've seen that looks like the job was done right.
Will u please ad a list of tools needed and also all the lubed and lockers u used
Awesome!!! Well done, thorough and concise. Thank you for the upload!

excellent video. well explained and very thorough.
What’s torque specifications Benjo bolt from Brake line to the caliper! Thank you

Is this the same method for a 2020 Nissan Rogue
Very thorough. Great video.
Very professional video, thank you
Why did you not install disc retaining screw?
Springs are incredibly difficult to get on properly.
Can I use sil glide on the pins?
Do the pad separation springs slip into holes in the pads, or are they just sitting behind the pads' tabs?
I have a Rogue SL. Is it the same for that model as well? It looks easy. Is it really that easy?
+John Morris The installation for the model should be very similar.
@@TRQ It certainly seems straight forward. It’s easy enough. Question: Re-pressurizing the brakes. Any bleeding needing to be done? Or simply pumping the brakes to reset them?
Excellent Video , nice Job
Never use normal brake grease for the pins. White lithium grease only!
Why’s that?
nope silicon grease , white lithium grease metal based
Thank for the tuition
THANK YOU , YOU ARE THE BEST !!!!!!!
Great video.
I don't think the squealers are installed???
Hooky-Do 😂 love it 👍
if its a 2019 or 2020 it is likely to have the electronic parking brake assist attached to the caliber, scan tool is needed to put the brakes into "service mode"
Instructions absolutely clear but my brakes fell off please help
Bolt sizes would have been handy
Sooooo you don't have to "bleed the brakes"???
Great video...tks!
I love it
YOU ARE ANOTHER ONE, DID YOU NOT NOTICE THE CLIPS YOU INSTALLED ARE DIFFERENT THEN THE ONES YOU TOOK OFF?
Add subtitles in the video more better
Those brake pads looked like they had life on them to me, am I crazy or maybe just didn't see right?
122 lb-ft ??? it should be 65 max!
I thought this video was how to change the brake pads NOT the bearings.
If you watch the video you’ll see that he does change the brake pads and rotors.
Paint those calipers!
This video is falsely labeled 🤦
Gotta love not knowing what size bolts
Ekspecially? Oh brother
The title doesn’t match the video
Scary to see videos to be so wrong lol Good luck with you brakes if you use lubricant where anti seize is required....
🤷🏽♀️now I know why they charge so much😒😢
They overcharge, and never give a refund if the job takes less time.
While you explain what to do you never tell us what size sockets to use. So this is a waste of time.
Terrible video! No socket sizes at all!
What’s torque specifications Benjo bolt from Brake line to the caliper! Thank you
