Thank you for showing me how to assemble the hardware. Previous person didn’t put them on and the brakes were dragging making me think I needed brakes and of course the pads didn’t need to be replaced but I did anyway. Thanks again!
Question, a number of posts on Nissan owners forum regarding electronic parking brake issues, that you have to do something first and put brake in service mode. Several owners screwed. up and did not do this so now have to deal with code scanners and what not to try to reset this EPB issue. Can you please comment on how to handle this. I now a new subscriber!
@@RBTheMechanic oreilly’s gave me two different brake rotors, in the the same box. So when I put the second on I assumed it was the correct part in the box with the first, obviously we know what happens when you assume. Anyways, long story short, it bent my steering knuckle so that was my project this week.
Top secret!!! Well I had issue idiot torqued plugs to wrong spec he had Toyota and watched ford video!!! So that’s somthing will need research for vehicle that u have

pro tip for folks who are in a pinch:
to compress calipers that don’t need to be rotated, use an oil filter pliers +brake pad

Well u do need to scan? But this video is on front brakes there not EPB should not have anything to do with it. However didn’t work on rear brakes?
Is there any need to bleed the brakes? I am gonna do my rouges brakes tomorrow I’m just wondering if it’s necessary.
No u don’t need to bleed the brakes
Very good instruction
Yup thank you
Can you do a video on replacing the rear parking brake shoes on a Nissan Rogue, nobody has done one.

Yeah just hammer the back of the rotor it will come loose
Doing this today for my girl lmao
@@Viper5104 Easiest brakes ever. Wish they were all that easy.
@Justin S I'm wishing my fusion would be this easy to change brakes lol
I just changed the brakes and rotors, and the front passenger side is clamped down. From what I’ve been reading it’s because I’m not in service mode?
Front has nothing to do with service mode rear only are required for service mode

I watched you for my civic. Here we are with a piece of shit rogue. Thank you for the vids!
Welcome!!
Am I trippin or were the inside pads worn more than the outside pads?
Prolly was
Pads always wear more on the piston side of the caliper
No brake grease on the outside of the pads
Nope but if u want
Do so
You put the top retainer clip back on in the wrong place!
No grease, no cleaning lets gooooooooo! Faster next job!
As customer requested. They said grease collected dust/dirt. Do my pad slap! No if and or buts
And the torque spec is *silence* lmao
